Ebony's POV

"You ready to go?" Alice asked as I walked outside with Keith beside me

"Yes," I replied with a smile. 

"You do know this is a girls-only day, right?" Alce asked, looking at Keith

"I was just walking her down here," He said 

"Hey, wait for me," Alissa said, running outside to where we were standing.

"Alissa, what are you doing here?" Alice asked

"I am going shopping with you," Alissa replied

"No, you should be resting after what happened to you," Alice said 

"I am fine, mom. The wolfsbane is completely out of my system, and I feel better than ever," Alissa said 

"I think you should stay home," Alice said 

"I said I was fine. Besides, I want to go shopping with my big sister Ebony," Alissa said 

"Hey, you are still here?" Jacob asked as he came out of the Palace

"Yes, we were on our way out, but Alissa wants to come along. I don't think it is a good idea," Alice said 

"Like I told mom already, I am feeling fine now," Alissa said 

"Are you sure?" Jacob asked

"Yes, dad. I am perfectly fine," She said 

"She says she is fine, so I think it's okay for her to go," Jacob said 

"What if she passes out?" Alice asked

"I won't pass out," 

"I think she will be okay to go," Jacob said, and Alissa jumped into the back of the Limo.

"I will see you later," I told Keith, and he wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body to his

"I want you back as soon as you are done shopping, Okay?" Keith asked

"Okay," I replied

"I love you, My Love," Keith said and kissed my lips softly.

"I love you too," I replied and got in the Limo. 

"This dress is so pretty on you," Alissa said. We had been trying on dresses for the last hour, but nothing I tried on seemed good enough in Alice's eyes.

"It is too long," Alice said, and I had to hold myself back from rolling my eyes at her. 

"Mom, it looks beautiful," Alissa said

"It doesn't fit her right," Alice said.

"I think we should ask Ebony what she thinks," Alissa said, and Alice laughed.

"Ebony wouldn't know what type of dress to wear. No offense, Ebony, but I am sure you have never been to a Royal function. Especially with that mother of yours," Alice said. It took everything in me not to tell her about herself. My mom might not have been the best, but I still didn't like anyone talking shit about her to me. I decided that the best thing to do would be to go and try on another dress before I said something that would start a whole argument between us.

After two more hours, we found a dress that Alice approved of me wearing and left the dress shop. 

"Let's go get some food. I am hungry," Alice said 

"That sounds good," Alissa said 

"I don't know. I promised Keith that I would come back as soon as I found a dress," I said 

"We are only going to get something to eat. I am sure Keith won't mind you going out to eat with Alissa and me. We are all family, after all," Alice said 

"Okay, but afterward, let's go home," I said

"Of course, we will go home," Alice said and told the driver to take us to an Italian restaurant. 

"I will be back. I need to go to the restroom," I said and went to the bathroom. Once I was there, I used the restroom and washed my hands. When I turned to leave, I jumped in shock when I saw a man standing in front of me. He looked to be in his late fifties. 

"What are you doing in here?" I asked

"You are not safe in the castle. You and your Mate need to leave before it is too late," He said 

"What are you talking about?" I asked. This was the second person in two days to talk to me about Alice.

"What I am saying is that the Queen wants you gone, and she will do anything to make that happen. I am just trying to warn you, Princess, the Queen, has never liked that the King had a child with another woman who will take the Throne," 

"How do you know this?" I asked

"My wife and I used to live in the Palace before your mother left. I learned a lot about how evil the Queen really is. You can't trust her and never go anywhere alone with her. I know that she is up to something," He said 

"Ebony, are you in here?" Alice said as she answered the bathroom door. When she saw the man standing beside me, she glared at him.

"What the hell are you doing here? You are not allowed here, GUARDS," Alice screamed, and two guards walked inside. "Take him away," 

"No, wait, he didn't do anything," I said 

"He is a traitor to our Pack and your father. Take him to a cell," Alice growled.

"Ebony, don't believe her. I know your grandparents, and they heard you are here. They are worried about you," He screamed.

"Are you okay, Ebony?" Alissa asked as she came to my side.

"I don't know,"
