Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 185
Ebony's POV
The sound of the alarm clock woke me up. I looked out the window and saw that the sun still hadn't come up. I looked over to where Keith usually slept and saw that his side was empty. I let out a sigh and then got back under the covers to go back to bed.
"No, no, Love, It's time to wake up," Keith said
"It is too early," I said
"It's four in the morning and time to begin training. Now get up," Keith said and removed the covers from my body, causing me to groan from frustration.
"You better go take a shower. You have ten minutes to be ready, or we are training with you like that," Keith said.
'Really, in your shirt and nothing underneath. YOu and I both know that you wouldn't let me walk out like that for everyone to see," I said
"Ebony," Keith said
"Okay, Okay, I will be ready in ten," I said and went to shower.
"Ow, that hurt," I cried.
"Again," Keith said, and I stood up from the ground. I lunged at Keith with all my might, and right before I could hit him, he slammed me onto the ground and straddled me. "You're going to have to try better than that, Love," Keith said and then kissed my lips quickly,
"Get off," I said. We had been out on the training field for two hours, and I felt like I wasn't learning anything.
"You need to control your emotions, Love. Don't overthink and go on instinct," Keith said
"Why aren't we training in wolf form? I don't understand how this will keep me safe," I said
"You need to learn to fight in human form first. Once we are done training in human form, then we will train in wolf form," Keith said
"When will that be?" I asked
"When I feel that you are ready," Keith said, and then he stood up. "Now come on and try again,"
"We will pick up where we left off tomorrow. You did well; Love," Keith said
"Yeah, right. I did everything wrong," I replied
"You did better than you think you did, Love," Keith said and wrapped his arms around me, pulling my body to his.
"I am weak," I said
"No, you are not weak; you are strong," Keith said
"Hey, Ebony," Alissa said and walked to Keith and me.
"Hi, Alissa," I said
"Hi, Keith," Alissa said
"Hello," Keith replied. Then, we all began to walk towards that Castle.
"How was your first day of training," Alissa asked.
"Horrible," I replied
"It wasn't that bad. Ebony did a good job for her first time," Keith said and kissed the top of my head.
We walked past some Pack Membersathat were delivering some furniture. "Hey, do you need some help?" Keith asked
"Yeah, thanks, man," The Pack Member said
"No problem. I will be back. Love," Keith said
"Okay," I said, and Alissa and I waited for him and sat on a bench nearby.
"Dad told me that something came up, and he won't be able to help you with your powers," Alissa said
"Yeah, he came by the training field and told me your mother, and he had to take care of something," I said
"Yeah, he was upset that he wasn't able to help you. He has been looking forward to helping you figure out what your abilities are," Alissa said
"Well, he said that he would help me tomorrow. I hope nothing comes up," I said
"I'm sure he will be able to help you tomorrow," Alissa said
"Keth should be done helping them soon," I said and stood from my seat.
"Yeah," Alissa said and got up as well.
"Hey, is your name Ebony?" A Pack Member asked
"Yes, Hello," I said, and then he stood a gun out of his pocket.
"Ebony," Alissa said when the Pack Member shot the gun. Alissa Jumped in front of me and then was on the ground.
"No," I screamed and kneeled on the floor by Alissa. I could see blood coming out of her chest. I knew they must have put something in the gun like Wolfsbane because a regular bullet couldn't hurt a werewolf.
'Keith," I screamed, and Keith ran outside.
"What's wrong, Love? Oh my, what happened?" Keth asked when he saw Alissa on the ground, bleeding.
"Someone shot her with a gun, and it must have had wolfbane or something in it. They ran away after," Is said
"We need to get her to the Pack Hospital. You need to call your father and let him know what happened," Keith said and picked Alissa up, and we began walking toward that Pack Hospital. I took my phone out and dialed Jacob's number.
"Why would they shoot her?" Keith asked while I was waiting for Jacob to answer
"They weren't shooting at her. They were shooting at me,"
