"Well, someone stepped their game up. Way to go, cous," Raven said as she sat next to me.

"I figured it was time to put everyone in their place. I am not going to let anyone disrespect my Mate," Keith said and moved my chair closer to his making our thighs touch. 

"Where are Kate and Kayla?" Raven asked

"They said they wanted to sit outside today. I told them I was going to sit with Keith," I replied

After lunch, Keith and I went to Mrs. Grammer's class. Everyone watched as we walked inside together. 

"Hey, Sean, do you mind switching seats with Ebony so we can sit together?" Keith asked 

"Sure," Sean said and got up from the seat. 

"Thanks, man," Keith said, and we both sat at the table.

The bell rang, and Mrs. Grammer walked into the classroom. She had been absent since she kicked me out because of the lie Keith told her a few days before we found out we were mates.

"Okay, class, let's get started," Mrs. Grammer said and then looked at me.

"Ebony, I know you are not harassing Keith again. I think you need to go to the principles office," Mrs. Grammer snarled.

"How dare you speak to my Mate and your future Luna like that. You need to apologize at once," Keith said in his Alpha voice.

"She's your mate?" Mrs. Grammer said, and I could hear the fear in her voice

" Yes, and your future Luna. You are a part of the Silver Moon Pack, and she will be your Luna. You need to apologize for being disrespectful.

"Of course, I am so sorry," Mrs. Grammer. 

"It's okay; you didn't know," I said. 

"Well, now you know, and this better not happen again," Keith said

"It will never happen again," Mrs. Grammer replied

Mrs. Grammer started class after that. She showed us how to do some problems on the board for about twenty minutes and then told us that we could talk amongst ourselves for the rest of the class. I knew she was shaken up from the altercation with Keith because she wasn't the type of teacher that would let everyone talk. Usually, she would have given us a lot of work to finish while in class or a surprise quiz. When the bell rang, Mrs. Grammer said goodbye to the class and quickly left before anyone else could. 

"Let's get out of here," Keith said, and he walked me to my locker. 

"Keith couch wants to speak to you," Mark said 

"Great, he's probably going to yell at me for missing the last practice. I have to go, but I will meet you here at the end of class," Keith said

"Alright, see you later," I said 

Keith wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him. Then he kissed me on the top of my head.

"See you later, Love," he whispered in my ear and left.

"It must feel good for Keith to defend you in Mrs. Grammer's class. It is funny, though, that not so long ago, he was telling her and everyone in class that you begged to suck his dick," I heard the voice that I wish I didn't say

I turned to see Sandy and Cindy standing right by me.

"Whatever, Sandy," I said and began to walk to my next class.

"I bet you think he cares about you. But I know him, and he will kick you to the curve soon," Sandy screamed as I walked away. 

I was embarrassed by all the students watching the scene play out. I just wished she would shut up already.

"Keith will be back in my bed soon," She said

Usually, I would've just kept ignoring her words and walked away, but this time I couldn't do that. Instead, I stopped where I was and turned to look at her.

"What did you just say to me," I asked calmly. I could see the shock in her eyes from me not just cowering away from her, but she quickly hid it with a smirk.

"You heard me; he will be in my bed soon. Or maybe I will go to his. Maybe we will let you watch while I let him fuck me good," Sandy said, and I lost it.

"That will never happen, and if you even think about touching my mate, I will kill you," I growled.

"He is going to eat my pussy real good like always," She said 

I don't know what came over me, but the next thing you know, I ran over to Sandy and slammed her on the ground. I kept punching her in the face repeatedly. Two of the Silver Moon Pack Members got me off of her. I could see that she was about to shift into her wolf.

"Sandy, don't shift," I heard Derek say using his alpha voice, and she had no choice but not to shift.

"Look at what she did to me," Sandy said

"Go to class, Sandy," Derek said, and Sandy left but not before sending me a dirty look.

"Everyone get to class," Derek growled at the students that were watching the scene, and they all left, leaving Derek and me in the hall.

"Let's go outside and talk," Derek said, and I nodded.

"What happened?" Derek asked

"I don't know; she said some things that I didn't like," I said

"I heard what she said, Ebony. You were upset because you didn't like what she said about her and Keith being together," Derek said

"I guess," I replied

"I think you have feelings for him," Derek said

"I don't know what to do,"

"Does he know that you care about him too?" 

"I told him I would give him a chance, but I haven't told him how I feel yet," I said

"I think you should tell him. I can tell he cares for you too. It is crazy that he was the guy I was protecting you from because he was bullying you," Derek said

"I know," I replied

"Tell Keith how you feel but don't forget who you are. I could see that you were ready to shift and fight Sandy. Don't forget that nobody can see your wolf. You have to be careful," Derek said

I knew he was right. I almost revealed my wolf to everyone, which could have put me in danger. I have to remember to control my emotions. Somehow I knew that would be hard to do.
