Chloe's POV

"Here is your room Miss. If you need anything else, please let me know," one of the Coven Members, Gretchen, said

"Thank you," I replied, and she left.

I looked around my new room, which reminded me of the home I shared with Mark and Max. The room consisted of a Family Room, Dining room, Kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The only difference was that the space at Silver Moon had three bedrooms. 

I sat on the bed in the main bedroom, thinking about everything that had happened that day. First, I discovered that my father was still alive, and he saved me from the institution I was in. Then, he heals me completely, bringing back my magic and making it where I can walk again.

Now the only question I had was why? Chery didn't tell me anything about him, but I knew they were no longer together. I didn't believe he had cured me because I was his daughter. I knew that he must want something from me. 

I heard a knock at the door and went to open it. 

"Hanson," I said 

"Do you mind if I come in so we can talk?" he asked, and I stepped aside for him to walk in.

We sat in the family room across from each other. We sat quietly for a while before he began to speak.

"You have grown so much, Chloe; I feel it was just yesterday that you were a baby," Hanson said, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"Cut the bull shit; I know you didn't cure me because you care about me. You want something so just tell me what it is," I said, and Hanson looked at me, startled by my reaction. 

"I need you to help me take over the Realms," he said 

"I already tried that, and you see how I ended up. You will have to find someone else to help you," I said.

"If that's what you want," he said

"It is, and I will be leaving soon. But if you want some advice, you never should have let Jace leave. He is loyal to Derek, and I am surprised he saved his mom," I said

"Jace is still here; I just had to let his mom think I let him go," 

"Smart, well, I will be gone by morning," I said

"Okay, I will be in here to check on you in the morning just in case you change your mind," he said and left.

I went into the room and took a hot bubble bath. I haven't felt this good in a long time. I could walk again and had my powers back. I was definitely staying away from Lilly and that her family.

Derek's POV

"I don't understand how Chloe could just disappear," My father said

After the phone call with Aunt Lil, Rose and I immediately took our private jet back to Blood Moon. I knew someone had to help get Chloe out of the Psyc Ward, but I didn't know who. I trusted that Mark wasn't lying when he said he didn't have anything to do with it. He had been taking care of Silver Moon while Keith and Ebony were away. He also seemed to agree that she needed to be there to ensure she didn't hurt anyone else. 

There was a knock on my office door.

"Come in," I said, and one of my trackers walked inside

"Did you find anything?" I asked

"We checked the security camera, but they stopped working when Chloe vanished. It seems like someone must have helped her escape, but there is nothing I could find to tell me who. They must have masked their scent," The tracker said

"Go check and see if you missed anything and ask everyone that works there if they noticed anything unusual," I said 

"Yes, Alpha," They said and left my office.

Something wasn't adding up. Who besides Mark would want to help Chloe escape? Then I thought about the recent events that have happened in the last two weeks, and it came to me.

"I think Hanson has something to do with this," I said to my father

"You might be right, son. He is her father and didn't show up for nothing," my father replied

"Now we have to find out how to find them. We need to talk to Joyce," 

Chloe's POV

I woke out of my sleep feeling an excruciating pain go through me. I couldn't help the screams that came from my body. And then suddenly, the pain stopped making me sigh in relief.

"What was that?" I thought

I tried to get up, but I couldn't feel my legs. It didn't take me long to realize why.

"No, this can't be happening again," I cried. 

"I forgot to tell you that this potion needs to be taken daily in order for you to keep your powers and be able to walk. Do you want some more?" Hanson asked, holding a water bottle

"Yes, please," I cried

"Then you have to do something for me," 

"I will do anything," I whispered, and he smiled. 

"Good, now let's get back to the conversation we were having last night, but first drink up," He said and put the water bottle to my lips.
