Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 40

Vivian's POV

"Everything looks fine on the X-Ray and I don't see any swelling so it must just be a spang," Sally said as she came to my room. 

"Did you get a look at who attacked you?" Jace asked me concerned

"No, they attacked me from behind. I ran into the woods and got away" I told him

"I thought you said you were already in the woods when you were attached?" Derek asked

I looked over at him, trying to figure out what to say

"I was on my way to the woods," I said and then looked away.

"Are you sure? Because it seems to me that you don't have your story straight" Derek said suspiciously.

I could tell he didn't believe my story of being attached. 

"Derek, don't be rude," Rose said and placed her hand on his chest. He looked at her for a moment and then wrapped his arms around her. He hugged her and placed his head in the crock of her neck. I could see that her scent was calming him and his wolf. 

I hated the fact that she made him feel that way. I hated seeing the love that he had for her. He was supposed to be mine. 

"I'm sorry Flower," He said softly. He looked into her eyes and smiled at her and she smiled back

"I have some warriors checking around the border now just in case the attacker is still here. Me and Rose will be leaving now," Derek said and they both left

"Are you feeling ok?" Jace asked me

"Yes my leg just hurts, but I'm fine"

"I will be back later. I am going to see if I spot anything unusual" He says and walks out

As Jace was walking out, our father was walking in. I knew he was upset that everything didn't go as planned. If Kate would have left to get help, Rose would be dead by now. I never liked that bitch. She never wanted me to be with her brother, even when we were kids.

"Hi son," My dad said

"Hey, dad! I'm happy you are here. Now Vivian doesn't have to be here by herself."

"Yeah, they said she could leave soon so I will get her discharge papers in order," My dad said and Jace left.

"What happened?" My dad asked once Jace was gone

"Kate didn't go to get help. She mind linked Derek instead." I told him

"How could you mess up a good plan? Now we will never get this chance again. I saw Derek when I was coming in. He looked  like he was suspicious about something." My dad said

"Yeah he was, he didn't believe me when I said I was attacked," I told him

My dad pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number

"We need to talk! Meet me in thirty minutes," He said and ended the call. 

"I will get your discharge papers. There is something we need to take care of" He said and walked out of the room

Chloe's POV

I am so pissed. Why was she not alone? I could have gotten rid of at least one of them. First I was going to get rid of Rose and then the one that I hated the most, Lilly.

Why was she so lucky? She got everything. A nice home, a loving family, and the perfect mate. Of course, I stole him away from her but now she was back. Why couldn't she have stayed away? 

I'm sure everyone is wondering why I hate her so much. Well, I hate her because she has the life I should have had. Lilly and me share the same parents by blood. She is my little sister. When I was three years old our parents decided to give us both away. They were kicked out of their pack and felt that it was a burden to take children along.

Lilly was a baby, only a couple of months old. They placed her in a car seat and put her by the Blood moon pack border. We waited in the trees until someone found her. After that, they took me to Thundermoon Pack. They had sold me to the Alpha, well the old Alpha. His grandson ruled now with his mate. 

When I was younger, they hated witches. They made me the pack slave. I had to clean at the age of three. They would beat me and starve me every day. When I was old enough I left and went to the Blood moon Pack. Back then I was worried about my sister Lilly. Imagine my surprise when I saw how happy she was. The Alpha and Luna treated her like she was theirs. Alpha Michael saw her like a sister and she was best friends with his mate Lisa.

I wanted to learn everything I could about her. I found out she was a straight A student and got along with everyone. I went to that same party where she met Max. I saw how he looked at her and knew instantly that they were mates.

I walked out of the party and saw Lisa talking to some woman. They were arguing about Michael. Apparently, it was his ex. That is how I met Guinevere. She was Michael's ex before he found his mate. Me and her instantly became friends, sisters actually. They all believed she was human but she is really a Dark witch. She taught me everything she knew. How to hide my powers and to make myself smell human. 

I wanted Lilly's life. I didn't care if she didn't know about me being her sister and the life I lived. I should have been the one with the loving family and mate, not her. My phone rang bringing me back to reality

"What" I screamed

"We need to talk! Meet me in thirty minutes" Jacob said and hung up the phone.

I couldn't wait to get rid of that beta and his slutty daughter. Once I was done using them to help me get what I want, they would die.
