"What does she want to talk to me about?" I asked, confused. 

"When Jacob and I went to see her, she told me that she knew we were coming. She said she asked my father to let her stay in the Pack because she knew we would need her help. She knew we were the future king and queen for years, ever since I was three years old," Keith said 

"Wow, that is crazy." 

"She said she would explain everything to us once you were safe. I told her that you needed to rest before she talked to us. You have been through a lot, and your body needs to heal." Hearing him say that made me remember what Alice did to me, how she beat me, leaving bruises on my back. I couldn't help but feel ugly. I wondered if Keith was disgusted by what my body looked like. I knew the bruises would heal soon, but that still didn't change the pain I felt when she hit me with a whip.

 Keith must have felt how I felt because he came over to me and sat next to me on the hospital bed. "Hey, I don't ever want you to think that you are anything but beautiful. Even with the bruises on your back, you are the most gorgeous woman in the world," Keith said, making me smile. He kissed the top of my head and then stared at me for a while. "Where is the cream the Doctor gave you to put on your back?" Keith asked. 

"In the bathroom with the." Keith walked into the bathroom, and not even a minute later, he came back out with the special cream the Doctor gave me to put on my back. Then, he walked back over to me and untied the hospital gown that I had on. 

"What are you doing, Keith?" I asked after the gown fell to the ground leaving me completely bare. "I am not going to make love to you even though that is what I really want to do right now. I know it isn't a good idea to do that in the hospital. I am going to apply this cream to your back. Get on the bed and  Lay on your stomach, My Love," Keith said, and I did what he said. 

Keith began to put the cream on his hand, and then he started massaging my back, making me feel the sparks that only he could make me feel. "I am going to kill Alice for what she did to you Once we find her. She is going to know she should never have messed with my Mate," Keith said while massaging my back.

"When are we going to talk to Abby?" I asked

"After you have rested. I will call her tomorrow. The Doctor said you should be able to go home then, so I will have her meet us on our floor at the Packhouse. Now you need to get some rest," Keith said. I placed my head on his chest and began inhaling his scent, letting it soothe me.

"Don't worry about anything, My Love. Alice will soon be dead for what she did to you. No one will hurt the love of my life and get away with it," Was what I heard Keith say before falling asleep.
