Rose's POV

"Are you ready to talk to Derek, sweetie," My mom asked 

"No," I replied

"Sweetie, you can't avoid him forever," My mom said, and I sighed.

"Mom, if I talk to him now, I know what's going to happen. He will apologize and say that nothing like this will ever happen again, and I will believe him just for the same thing to happen with another female. He is going to have to show me that he is going to fix this before I go back to him. I can't keep letting this happen over and over again. It isn't fair to me," I said

"You are right, sweetie, but what will you do? Cancel the Ceremonies that we just told everyone were going to happen?" My mom asked.

"That's not what I said. I just want him to do something. I am not going to keep fighting his exes or whores or whatever they are," I said

"I agree with Rose. She needs to put her foot down now, or this will keep happening. Better to take care of everything now. Show my brother she won't stand for his shit," Kate said, and my mom sighed.

"I guess, but you should at least tell him all this instead of avoiding him. I am about to go find your dad," My mom said and left.

"So, are we having a sleepover?" Kate asked

"Yep, I don't want to talk to your brother tonight," I said

Just then, there was a knock at her door, and then Derek came into the room

"Rose, can we talk?" He asked

"Damn, brother, you could have waited for me to answer the door," Kate said

"Whatever, Kate. Rose, please, will you talk to me," He asked. I could see that he was sad by his expression, and I felt terrible. But I needed to get my point across. 

"We can talk for a moment, but I am spending the night with Kate tonight," I said, and we walked into the hallway.

"I am sorry, Flower. I don't know why Samantha would say any of that to you, but I promise I haven't done anything with her or any other female since I met you," he said

"Why did she go on the trip with you for three days?" I asked

"She only went as a flight attendant. I did nothing with her, and when she tried to, I kicked her out of my room," He said

"She came into your room?" I asked

"On the Jet, I have a private room, but I swear nothing happened. As soon as I went in there and saw her naked, I kicked her out," He said.

 "She was naked in your room?" I asked 

"I found her like that and kicked her out. I swear nothing happened," He said

"Did you fire her after that?" I asked 

He didn't say anything, and I knew he didn't.

"You should have fired her. Didn't you think I would feel uncomfortable with one of those whores going on business trips with you? What if some guy I was with went on a business trip with me?" I asked, and he growled

"Rose, don't say things like that. You are mine and only mine. No other man will ever have you," He said

"So it is okay for you to have all these whores going places with you, but even the thought of another guy with me pisses you off?" I asked

"No other guy will have you?" He growled 

"That's the thing, Derek. You don't have to worry about any other guy because you are the only one I have been with. You, however, have been with me; I don't know how many of the females live here with us. You have made no effort to make sure that they understand that you are not interested in them. It's not fair." I said 

"What do you want me to do, Rose? Kick every she-wolf out that I have slept with?" He asked

"That's not what I said. I want you to show them that I am the one you want," I said

"What do you think I am trying to do, Rose? I am sorry I didn't wait for you. I would never have slept with them all if I had known I would find you. I was selfish, I know," He said

"I know you are sorry, Derek," I said

"Then please come back to our room. I promise to make this up to you," He said

"I am going to stay with Kate tonight," I said. It was hard not to go with him, but I knew I needed time to myself.

"Please don't leave me. Please don't cancel the ceremonies next week. I will do anything," He said, and I could see tears in his eyes.

"Derek, I'm not canceling anything. I just need some time to myself," I said 

He hugged me for a moment and then looked me in the eye.

"I promise that I will take care of all of this. I will not let anyone come between you and me, Flower. You are mine, and I am yours," He said, making my heart jump. I wanted to go with him but knew I needed to do this. 

He took a deep breath and closed his eye for a moment before opening them again. Finally, he hugged me tight and kissed my forehead.

"I will miss you tonight, Flower. I love you and will see you tomorrow," He said, and I smiled.

"I love you too," I said and returned to Kate's room.

When I opened the door, she almost fell from leaning on it. I knew she was listening to our conversation.

"Did you hear anything good," I said, rolling my eyes

"Yes, that was so sweet. He was crying. Now I feel kind of bad for him," Kate said

"I know, but I need some alone time," I said

"Yeah, well, what do you want to watch? I'll pop the popcorn. It's about time you spend the Night with me. Girl's Night," Kate said and ran into the kitchen.
