Ebony's POV

"What did you say?" Jacob asked, shocked. Keith looked at me with a worried expression. I was sure he was concerned about me telling Jacob about the Council because he seemed close to them, but I felt this was the right thing to do. 

"Abby told us the Royal Council will turn on us and support Alissa. She said they want power and control, and the only way to stop them is by getting rid of the Royal Council," I finished.

"You mean kill them," Jacob asked.

"No. I mean, take their position away," I replied

"I don't know why you are listening to that Witch. How do we know she isn't the one that wants to hurt you and Keith? She shouldn't be trusted," Jacob said

"I disagree with you. Abby seems to be right about everything. She said that Alice was going to try to make Alissa Queen and turn the Community against Ebony. Now she has made a video telling everyone that Alissa should be Queen instead of Ebony. How would she know that woudl happen if she didn't see it herself?" Keith asked

"That doesn't mean the Royal Council is going to turn on you. I have known them my whole life, and they have looked out for our entire family. I trust them and am sure they will never turn on you. You are the true heir to the throne, and they know that," Jacob said.

"If that is true, then why are they okay with letting the Coummuntiy decide who should become Queen? Don't you think they should help us convince everyone that Ebony is the only one that can be Queen? But, instead, they tell us that they are going to let the community decide," Keith asked.

"You heard what they said. Without the community's support, the Werewolf community is doomed," Jacob said, and Keith laughed. 

"The Werewolf Community will be doomed if Ebony isn't the one that becomes Queen. You know what Abby said. If Alissa becomes Queen, every other supernatural creature will turn on us, and most werewolves will be killed," Keith said

"You really believe that witch is telling the truth?" Jacob asked

"I know she is. But, listen, I am not going to keep arguing with you because we don't have time. We need to figure out how to figure everything out. Not only do we have to figure out how to convince everyone that Ebony and I should Rule instead of Alissa. Alice is also planning on having Ebony killed, and we need to figure out who she plans on having to do that. They could be anywhere. I think we need to keep everyone from the Royal Pack away from Ebony. You don't know who you can trust there," Keith said.

"I agree with you. There are a lot of Pack Members, and I don't know which ones are on Alice's side. I am still shocked Alistar would betray me the way he did," Jacob said. I could hear the sadness in his voice from being betrayed by someone he had trusted most of his life.

I sat there thinking about how I could convince the Werewolf Community that I woudl be the best Queen. Then something came to me. 

"I know what we could do to help me convince the Community that I would be the right choice as Queen," I said

"What is that, My Love?" Keith asked

"I need to do what we always planned on doing. I need to go to all the Pack and meet all of the werewolves. When the Alphas and Lunas came here, they felt I would be a good Queen because I was different from everyone else who ruled before me. I wasn't raised with luxury and had to work hard for everything I had. Most Werewolves have to work hard. Most are not of the higher ranks, and I can relate to them. I understand what most werewolves go through every day. I need to make them see that I am one of them and plan on making things better," I said.

I wouldn't be lying to any of them, either. I had struggled more than most in my life from a young age. I knew what it was like to have no one care for me. My mother was never a good one and never cared for me. She always told me how worthless I was and a burden to her. That I would never become anything more than a plaything for man, she even was planning on selling me and would have if I didn't run away that night and found out that Keith was my Mate.

There were days she would leave me alone for a week or more at the young age of six with nothing to eat in the house. Sometimes our heat and electricity were cut off because my mother didn't pay the bills. She had men roaming around the house constantly, and I had to lock my door to make sure they didn't come in while I was asleep. Though when they were around, I barely slept because I was too afraid one of the men would break my door open.

Not only was my home life fucked up. My life at school and in the community was also horrible. Everyone talked about me because I was poor and who my mother was. I barely had any friends besides Kate and Kayla, and everyone thought I would end up like my mother. No one believed I would have become the Luna of Silvermoon, mated to an Alpha, and also be a Princess and soon-to-be Queen. I could relate to so many werewolves. All of this made me think of something else I should do. Something that would show all werewolves that I understood them. I understood pain and suffering and let them know there was hope. Let them know I planned on changing things that I felt needed to be changed to help them.

"I think that is a good idea. We need to plan this as soon as possible," Jacob said.

"Yeah, I agree. It would be good to visit and tell everyone why you feel you would be the best Queen," Keith added.

"I want to do one more thing as well," I said 

"What is that?" Keith asked

"I want to create a video just like Alice did. I want to tell everyone my life story."
