Derek's POV

"All of you were called to my office because you have all committed the crime of disrespecting my mate and your future, Luna," I said to the she-wolves that sat in front of me.

I called for a pack meeting this morning. My father agreed that it was a good idea to give all the females who said anything disrespectful to Rose an example. I had been with a lot of females before meeting Rose. Too many to count, and I needed to ensure they knew that since I met Rose, I am done with my Playboy ways. 

That is why I called Vivian, Samantha, and Courtney for questioning and trial. They would be punished for trying to break my mate and me apart.

"Vivian, why did you tell Rose we would be together again?" I asked her

She looked bored, like she didn't want to be there.

"I was mad that you moved on, but I don't want you anymore and am sorry for causing problems," She said. 

"What about you, Samantha? Why did you lie and say that we had sex on the three-day trip to the Blue Moon Pack?" I asked her

"I was just mad as well, Alpha; I am sorry and won't do it again," Samantha said. I could tell that she was scared.

"And you, Courtney. Why did you challenge your future, Luna?" 

"I don't know," she said nervously.

"Well, for your punishments, you will all be banished from the pack," I said

"What?" Vivian said

"You heard me, Vivian," I said

I could hear everyone talking among themselves that were watching. Most of the pack was there, and I knew they were shocked about what I was doing. I needed to prove to everyone that Rose was not someone to fuck with.

"You would kick us out over her," Vivian said, pointing behind me.

I looked and saw Rose standing behind me with a frown on her face.

"Derek, what's going on?" Rose asked

"I am doing what I should have done when I first met you," I said

"You can't kick Vivian out, Derek. She is my mate," Landon said. He went over to stand by Vivian.

"Look, I am sorry I was a bitch when I returned. I am over you now. My mate is right here," She said 

I could tell that her apology was not sincere. 

"Derek, you can't kick them out," Rose said

"What are you talking about, Rose? They are causing nothing but problems," I said

"I don't want you to kick anyone out. Vivian has found her mate now, so I don't think she is going to try to cause us any more problems," Rose said 

"What about them?" I asked

"They may find their mates one day too. All I wanted was for you to show me that you didn't want anyone but me. I don't want anyone getting kicked out," She said 

I looked at her and then sighed. I didn't trust any of them, definitely not Vivian. I know she had something to do with the kidnapping of my mate. I don't understand why Rose didn't want me to kick her out.

"Fine, but they will be punished for their disrespect," I said

"Okay," Rose replied

"Vivian, Samantha, and Courtney, you all will cook for the pack for a month. You will also have to do community service through the pack by helping clean the parks and packhouse. If any of you ever try to disrespect your future Luna again, you will be banished. Do I make myself clear?" I asked

"Yes, Alpha," They all said

"And for anyone else that thinks that you can disrespect Rose. I will banish you without hesitation," I said to all of the pack members.

"Thanks," Landon said to Rose, and she just smiled. He knew that Vivian would have been banished from the pack if it weren't for her.

I went over to Rose and hugged her tight.

"Can we talk now," I asked, and she nodded, and we walked to our room to talk?

Vivian's POV

"I can't believe he was going to banish you," Landon said

"I know it's crazy," I said

I hated the fact that Derek would do that to me. We were close for all our lives until that bitch came along. Rose, she isn't even that cute. She isn't Luna material. But now I am so over Derek. He chose her over me. Landon is my mate, and I should give him a try. 

"I will talk to him. Let him know that we are together now," He said

"That would be good. I think that Rose hates me because of Derek and my past.," I said

"Everything will be okay, Vivian. I got you," Landon said and hugged me tightly.

I smiled to myself because I had an idea. I was going to ruin Derek and Rose's life. But I know that I can get Landon to help me. He is my mate, after all. 

You want to betray me, Derek; well fuck you and your bitch of a mate. You both will pay.
