Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 63

Rose's POV

"Are you ready to train?" Derek asked me as he drove home from work.

Today was going to be the first time I trained with the Pack. I was nervous because I knew they were more experienced than I was. I had only been training with Derek the last month.

Grandma Joyce said that she believed that I needed to train with other werewolves because she felt that Derek was going easy on me. I knew she was right because I could tell he would hold back. I told him that it would be a good idea for me to train with the others to learn different moves from others. Derek didn't like the idea, but he agreed as long as he was the trainer. 

"You know we can go back to it just being me and your training if you don't want to train with the Pack," He said

"It's okay. I should train with the Pack, I said and smiled at him.

We arrived at the Packhouse and headed to our room.

"Derek, I need to talk to you. Hi Rose," Landon said

"Hello," I said

"I will meet with you after Rose, and I get ready," Derek said

 I could see that Landon wanted to talk to him, but he just nodded and left

We went to our room and got ready for training. Once we were both dressed, we walked out to the training field. I could see Jace, Lacy, and Landon sitting with Vivian at a table.

 Training started with Derek having us partner with someone and practice our fighting skills. I was teamed up with a girl named Lisa. I could tell she didn't want to be paired with me, but she didn't say anything. About two hours later, we were done training.

"I can't believe you were paired with that witch," One of the female warriors said to Lisa.

"Don't let Derek hear you say that. You know she our future Luna," Lisa said

"She is not my future Luna," 

"That's it for training today. Everyone did a good job. Everyone can go and enjoy the rest of your day," Derek said

"Aren't you forgetting something Alpha," The warrior that was talking to Lisa asked

"I don't believe I am Courtney," He said

" When a future Alpha finds his mate, anyone can battle her for the Luna Position," Courtney said

Derek paused. "No one is going to battle my mate. Anyone that has a problem with her will have to deal with me," He said

"That is not the way it works. You know that, Alpha. If someone challenges her, she has to accept it; besides, I know I please you way better than she does when I was in your bed," Courtney says

I turned and looked at her. I was pissed, and my inner voice told me to tear that bitch apart. 

"What did you say bitch," I yelled in that unfamiliar voice again,"

She looked at me with a smirk on her face before replying

"You heard me. I said I know I pleased him better than you do in bed. He would fuck me all night long," She said

I couldn't control my anger after those words left her mouth. I lunged at her so fast that it surprised me. At the same time, she shifted into her wolf. I could see Derek coming towards us already shifted, but he and everyone else paused when I punched her, and her wolf flew into the fighting ring. 

She got back up and growled at me. I ran to where she was in the ring, and she ran towards me in her wolf form. I dodged her wolf while she was trying to bite me and punched her again hard, causing her to fly outside the ring. She came at me one more time, and I was over this. I lifted my hands and let my power consume me. Then, the weather changed, and the rain started to pour.

I extended my hands to her and let my powers consume her body, causing her to freeze where she was. Then, I walked over to her with a smile on my face.

"I don't care what you or any other slut did with my mate before he knew me. But now I am here, and he is mine. So if you or anyone else even thinks about trying to get with my mate, you will have to deal with me." I said and walked away, leaving Courtney frozen in place as her wolf.

"Baby, are you going to let her go," Derek asked as he followed after me

"No," I said 

"Flower, you can't keep her like that," 

"Why do you care? Do you have feelings for her?" I asked

"What? Of course, I don't have feelings for her,"

"Then it shouldn't matter what happens to any of your whores. You have so many of them. It's hard to believe you were raised knowing about mates," I said 

"Rose," 

"I want to be alone for a while," I said and walked off

I know that everyone he messed with was before he knew me, but it was crazy how many women he had been with. I felt hurt that he didn't even think about what kind of problems it could add for me from him being with so many of them. 

I just hoped that now they all knew that I was the wrong one to fuck with.
