Ebony's POV

"Ebony," Keith said as he ran over to me. I was with the guards telling them what happened when I left the house.

"Keith," I said as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body to his. 

"What happened," Keith asked. Jacob, Uncle Michael, Derek, and Mark were with him.

"These men attacked me after my mom tricked me into coming outside. She acted like she wanted to have a relationship with me so that I would walk her to her car. I don't know how but I made them fall without touching them," I said as I pointed to all of those who were in handcuffs. 

"You must have used one of your gifts," Jacob said, and then he turned and looked at the men that attacked me. "They are two of Alice''s guards," Jacob said, and Keith and I looked at each other. It was evident that Alice sent them to hurt me. 

"If you don't mind, your highness. We will be taking them to a cell for trying to hurt Luna Ebony," One of the Pack Warriors said

"Of course," Jacob replied, and the warriors left with the prisoners.

"Ebony, I didn't want any of this to happen. They made me do it," My mom said 

"I don't want to hear anything you have to say, mom. You are supposed to be my mother, but you don't care about me," I cried. Keith pulled me closer to him and kissed the top of my head. 

"Take her to a cell, as well," Keith said, and two guards grabbed her by her arms and headed to a cell. 

"No, Ebony, I am sorry. Please help me. I never meant to hurt you," my mom screamed as the guards began to drag her to a cell. 

"Are you okay, My Love?" Keith asked. I could tell by his facial expression that he was worried about me.

"I am fine. Just a little shocked about what happened," I said

"I am going to tell everyone that we are canceling the Ceremonies today," Nancy said 

"I agree. Ebony has been through a lot today. But, we can have the Ceremonies another day," Keith added.

'No," I replied, and everyone looked at me. "I am not going to let them mess up our day," I said, kissing Keith softly.

"Are you sure? You have been through a lot. Everyone will understand if you want to reschedule?" Keith asked 

"No. I don't want to reschedule. I want to have the Ceremonies like we planned," I said 

"Okay, then I will finish getting ready," Keith said with a smile on his face. He kissed the top of my head before standing. "I will see you out there," he said and left to get ready.

"You ready?" Kate asked as she walked into my room

"Ready as I will ever be," I said. Checking to make sure my hair and makeup looked perfect

"You got this," Kate added. I took a deep breath, and we left my room; we went outside and began walking to the fighting field where the Alpha and Luna Ceremony would take place. 

Edward was standing in a ring with Keith when we made it to the field. Keith wore a silver robe, which all future Alphas of the Silvermoon Pack wore when they were sworn in. I walked inside and stood by Nancy. Once I accepted the place as Luna, she would give me her crown, and I would drink from a cup with her blood and some herbs inside. But first, Keith had to accept becoming Alpha.

Do you, Keith Monroe, accept your Place as Alpha? Do you promise to take care of all your Pack Members and lead them fairly? Do you promise to fight for your Pack when needed," Edward asked.

"I accept," Keith replied

"Does everyone accept his becoming Alpha, or does anyone want to challenge him for the position," Edward asked.

"We accept," All the Pack Members said 

Then let it be," Edward said and gave Keith the cup with his blood and a few Herbs in it. As Keith drank from it, I could feel him getting stronger. Finally, he closed his eyes as he let the power of the Alpha consume him. After he was done, everyone cheered, and he stood where his father was standing at first while his father went to the side. 

Keith looked at me with a smile on his face. He gestured for me to come forward. His mother walked up with me. 

"Do you, Ebony Daniels accept your place as Luna? Do you promise to watch over your Pack Members and lead by example? Do you promise to be fair and caring to all?" Keith asked

"I accept," I replied, and Keith smiled happily at me.

"Does everyone accept her becoming Luna, or does anyone want to challenge her for the position," Keith asked. 

"Yes, we," the Pack started to say but was cut off.

"I do not accept," I looked over and saw Ashley standing there. "I, Ashley Jones, challenge you, Ebony Daniels, for the position of Luna," Gasps were heard from the whole field. It wasn't normal for a Pack Member to challenge the Fated Mate of an Alpha. 

"That is not happening. Guards, take her to a cell immediately," Keith growled.

" I accept your challenge," I replied, causing Keith to look at me and everyone else to look at me.
