Ebony's POV

"How did you hear this?" Keith asked, and she handed him her phone. I looked at it to see a video was on it. Keith pressed the play button, and Alice was sitting on a couch, speaking into the camera. Keith pressed play, and we could hear Alice begin to speak on the camera.

ALICE'S VIDEO

"Hello, everyone. I am making this video because I believe all of you deserve to know what has been going on. I am sure all of you have heard the rumors saying I am in trouble with the Royal Council, that I have done something terrible to your future Queen and deserve to be punished. 

First, I would like to tell you that I am hiding from the Royal Council for a good reason. Luna Ebony, the she-wolf they believe would be a great Queen, has lied to them. She told the Royal Council that I kidnapped and abused her, but that is not true. 

That is not the first time she has lied about me. When I first met her and was visiting the Silvermoon Pack with my daughter and Mate, King Jacob. Luna Ebony told them I had attacked her the day of her Luna Ceremony. Even though I didn't, My Mate believed her, and since then, the King and I haven't been getting along. Some of the Pack Members who were banished went to The Royal Council and made shocking allegations about me. They told them I lied to my Mate to get them banished. Ebony's grandparents are some of the ones that made the allegations. 

Everything that Luna Ebony and all those other werewolves said about me was a lie. I would never do anything to harm Luna Ebony or anyone else. Some of you may be wondering why Ebony would make up these types of allegations about me. I will tell you why. It is because she was upset that I told the King that my daughter Princess Alissa should be Queen. 

Everyone has heard that Ebony was not raised in a home with the King, but in a house, with her mother, which is an Omega. She was the maid's daughter that lived in the Packhouse when she was younger and seduced the King. I never told anyone this, but he cheated on me with her mother. I know this may be shocking because it isn't normal for Mates to cheat on each other, but Luna Ebony's mother had a witch make her a potion to seduce the King to get him into her bed. She ended up pregnant and had Luna Ebony.

I was heartbroken when I discovered what he did, but I knew it wasn't his fault or his unborn child's. I told him I forgave him and would help raise the child as my own, which made him very happy. Then, Ebony's daughter escaped the palace, and we didn't find Ebony until about a month ago. 

I care for Luna Ebony as my own child, but I know that she woudl not be a good Queen because she doesn't know how to be. She is the daughter of an Omega that raised her as an Omega. I love her as my own daughter, but she will be a danger to our Community if we let her become Queen. 

I am making this video because the Community has the right to choose which one of the Kings daughters becomes Queen. Princess Alissa has been training her whole life to take her place as Queen. She has wanted this since she was a pup, and now she is heartbroken that the Royal Council has chosen Luna Ebony as Queen. 

I am asking for all of the werewolf community that feels they have a right to decide which one of King Jacob's daughters will be the right one as Queen. This is a big decision, and I am worried that the Community will be destroyed if my daughter isn't chosen.

Ebony, if you don't like what I am saying, I am not only looking out for the Werewolf community. I am looking out for you too. You are like a daughter to me, and I love you. I want to let you know that I also forgive you for all the lies you have made up about me.

"What the fuck is this?" Keith said as the video ended

"Everyone has seen this. One of the Pack Members of Bloodmoon told me about the video while I was at the mall. Everyone is talking about it," Raven said 

"When did she release this video?" Keith asked

"Earlier today," Raven said 

"Fuck, we need to show Jacob this video. Alice is trying to turn everyone against you," Keith said, taking out his phone to call Jacob.

"Yes, Jacob, you need to get back here quickly. Alice has released a video telling everyone that Ebony is not fit to be Queen and that they should choose Alissa," Keith said

"What? When did she do this?" I could hear Jacob say on the other end.

"Earlier today. Most likely when Alistar got Alissa out of the Packhouse," Keith sai d

"I am on my way back to the Packhouse. There is no sign of Alissa or Alistar anywhere. I am sure they used something to hide their scents. I am sure the Royal Council is going to have a fit when they hear about this video," Jacob said 

"Meet Ebony and me on our floor. We have to figure out what the hell we are going to do about this," Keith replied, and they ended the call.

"It is starting. We need to do something quickly before most of the Werewolves turn on Ebony and Join Alice's side," I heard Abby say as she walked into the Packhouse.

"You have perfect timing, Abby. When did you see the video?" Keith asked

"About twenty minutes ago. I was at the store and heard some Pack Members talking about it. They are worried that Ebony won't make a good Queen because of what Alice said in the video. We need to convince them otherwise," Abby said

 "How are we going to do that? If everyone believes I won't make a good Queen because of who raised me. She also lied, saying that I made up everything that she had done to me," I asked. I was sad and upset. Alice not only said I wasn't fit to be Queen but also lied and said I made up everything she did to me. From what Abby said, everyone was already turning on me.

"We can't give up, My Love. I know you are upset at what Alice did. I am upset too, but we must show everyone how strong you are. You can't let her win," Keith said. I knew he was right and knew I needed to stay strong. I couldn't let someone like Alice win. I needed to think about everyone's future and what would happen if Alice won and Alissa became Queen.

"You are right, Keith. We need to figure out how to make everyone see the truth," I said 

"That's my girl."
