Chloe's POV

"Hey Chloe, how are you feeling today," the nurse Mark hired asked

"How do you think I fell?" I snarled

"You should be happy that Alpha and Luna let you live after what you did," she said and walked out of my room.

"I would rather be dead than live like this," I said as she shut the door.

Why would I be happy? That little bitch, Rose, stole my magic, making me nothing but mundane. Rose saved my life by using her powers to remove the bullet from my body, only to take my powers from me right after. So now I am a powerless human that is paralyzed. She knew what she was doing to me; my body couldn't heal by taking my abilities. Death would have been a better fate.

Instead of killing me, they decided to lock me in a mental institution in Blood Moon Pack. Only Mark comes to visit me most days. It kills me knowing that Lilly and Max are together and happy now. They don't deserve happiness, I do, and after all my hard work, Lilly still ends up on top.

"Chloe," I heard a masculine voice say. I looked around but didn't see anyone there.

"Whose there?" I asked, and then a man appeared.

"Hello Chloe," the man said

"I am Hanson, your father, and I am here to get you out of this place," he said

"Father," I asked, confused.

"Yes, Joyce took you away from your mother and me when you were a baby. She raised you as her own and then gave you away," he said.

"I can't walk, and Lilly's daughter took my powers away from me. I don't know how you will get me out of here," I said 

He placed his hand on my shoulder and teleported us out of the mental institution. Soon, I was in someone's bedroom. Hanson helped me lay on the bed and then sat beside me.

"I am so sorry that this happened to you, Chloe, but I promise I will make everything better. We will get our revenge on Joyce and her family," Hanson said

"How," I asked, and then he stood up and walked over to a mini refrigerator. He took a water bottle out of there filled with a green liquid.

"Drink this," he said and handed it to me. I looked at the strange liquid, wondering what was in it.

"It is something that will make you better, trust me," he said

I looked at the strange man in front of me, wondering if I could truly trust him. A man I had never met suddenly shows up and saves me from a mental hospital. I placed the water bottle to my lips and drank all the liquid inside it. I figured out what more I could lose. I had already lost everything that meant something to me.

A scream came out of my mouth as I felt an excruciating pain go through my entire body. 

"Don't worry, my child, the pain will be over soon, and then you will be better," he said 

Thankfully the pain was gone a few minutes later. What shocked me the most was when I felt my toe move. I looked at my legs and sat up on the bed. I placed my legs on the floor and stood on my feet. I looked up at Hanson with tears in my eyes.

"I can walk again," I said

"That is not all; try to use your powers," Hanson said

I lifted my hands and closed my eyes, making a fireball appear in my hands.

"How," I asked. 

"Everything will be explained to you soon. But now it is time for us to finish what Marcus started. You and I, Chloe, are going to take over all of the realms," Hanson said

"That sounds great and all, but how will we do that? That little bitch Rose is more powerful than I thought," I said

"With help from some new friends," he said, and I looked at him, confused

"Come with me," Hanson said, and I followed him as he walked out the door. We went to another room, and I was shocked to see Jace and his mother. Jace looked up at me in confusion. I am sure he was wondering how I was walking, considering I was just paralyzed.

"Chloe," Jace asked, surprised.

"Now that everyone is here, it is time for us to discuss how we are going to take over all the realms," Hanson said, and everyone's eyes went to him.
