Derek's POV

A loud beeping noise woke me up. I looked at the table next to me and saw an alarm clock. It was 5 AM. I quickly hit the button to stop it from making that annoying sound.

I've never woken up so relaxed and happy. Even after waking up at 5 in the morning by alarm clock, That was the best sleep I ever had.

A smile appeared as I thought about what Rose and I had done last night.

I didn't see it happening this soon or that she would be the one to make the first move.

I looked down at my mate, still asleep. Her face was on my chest. I moved her hair out of her face and kissed her forehead.

She began to move, and then her eyes opened. She looked right at me and smiled.

"Good morning, sleepy head," I said and kissed the top of her head.

"Good morning; what time is it?" She asked, her head still on my chest.

She snuggled closer to me, making me smile. I wrapped my arms around her, and she sighed happily.

"It's 5 in the morning; time for you to get ready for school," I said and kissed the top of her head again, and she groaned.

" I forgot about school. I don't wanna go."

"Baby, you have to. You know school is important. Plus, I don't want your mom to think I'm s bad influence." 

She looked up at me and then sat up on the bed. I could tell she was still tired from what we had done last night.

"Okay, I'm going to take a shower and get ready." She said and stood up.

She was still naked, and I couldn't help but check her out, looking at her from head to toe.

I was just about to pick her up and take her back to the bed when she made a hissing sound after trying to walk. She was still in pain.

"Get ready; I will take you to school," I said and walked out of the room.

I went to the kitchen and started making eggs, bacon, and toast. She walked into the kitchen as I put the food on a plate.

She looked nervous and was playing with her hands.

"Yeah," She said but wouldn't look me in the eye. There was something wrong.

"Baby, I know something is bothering you. You can tell me," I said

"Did you enjoy what we did last night? It might not have been the best, but I thought I did okay for the first time. I'm sure I will get better," She said, but I  cut her off.

"What are you talking about, Flower? Yesterday was the best night of my life. I more than enjoyed it. So why are you asking this?"

"You didn't want to do anything when we went in the bathroom. You practically ran out of the room," She said.

"Baby! I didn't do anything because I could tell you were still sore from last night. I left the bathroom because I didn't want to lose control and fuck you in the shower and cause you more pain. Honestly, last night was perfect. You were perfect." I told her and gave her a passionate kiss.

" Don't ever doubt yourself with me, Flower. You are all I need and want. And trust me, I will show you how perfect I think you are tonight. I will be making you cum over and over again until you can't take it anymore." I told her and went back to making our plates.

Rose's POV

"I will pick the both of you up after school," Derek said

Right now we are in front of the school. Derek drove Kate and me this morning

"Okay, bro, I'll see you later," Kate said and walked out of the car.

"I have dance practice later today, so I will have to stay after," I told him. "Okay, I will come back after dropping Kate at home." He said, and I nodded.

He kissed me with so much want and need. It felt like he didn't want me to leave. I didn't want to go, even though it was only for a few hours. I felt like I wanted to be with him all the time, and when I wasn't, I felt a pain in my chest.

He looked at me and sighed.

"I will miss you, my Flower." He said and then pecked my lips.

"Me too," I responded and stepped out of the car.

He watched me go up to the school door and then drove off once I was inside.

School went by fast, and soon it was dance practice. When I walked in, I was shocked at who was there.

Vivian was standing there with another female that looked about thirty. I decided not to worry about her and went to sit down.

"Hello, team! Welcome to the Blood Moon dance team. I am Ms. Jones and your dance teacher. This is Vivian, and she will be helping me teach you all the dance moves. She was my number one dancer when she went here two years ago. Please respect her as she is also here to help make you better dancers. I would like for everyone to start with warm-ups. We will start with every practice, and then I will split you all into groups. Half will be with me and the other half with Vivian." Ms. Jones said, and we went to do warm-ups.

After warm-ups, she split us all into groups. I, unfortunately, was put in Vivian's group. I didn't know what would happen as I walked over to her. To my surprise, she smiled at me.

"Hello everyone! I will teach you all a dance for the dance competition coming up next month. So please do your best it is a bit complicated." She said and started doing the routine.

The routine was challenging for most, but I was a great dancer and a quick learner. So when we were showing her the routine, I did it without error.

Others, however, were having a hard time getting it right.

I thought she would be upset that I didn't have a hard time, but she seemed relieved and complimented me on my dancing.

"All of you did well today, but you could do better. Rose, you did an amazing job. I was hoping tomorrow you could help me with the others." Vivian said with a smile.

" Sure, I would love to help," I told her.

"Okay, we have about ten minutes left. All of you can practice what I have shown you today. Rose, can I speak to you for a sec, please." Vivian asked

"Yes," I told her, and we walked over to the bleachers.

"Rose, I want to apologize for how I treated you. I know I was a bitch. Derek and I have history, and I was jealous that he is with you. I hope you can forgive me." She said

I couldn't believe she was apologizing to me. I didn't know how sincere she was but thought I should give her a chance. So I decided to accept her apology but not let my guard down.

"Yes, I forgive you, Vivian," I told her, and she smiled

" Hey, is everything okay" I heard Derek ask as he placed his arms around me.

"Yes, everything is fine. I just apologized to Rose for my behavior. I also want to apologize to you for causing trouble between the two of you." She said to him and tried to hold his hand, but he pulled it away from her, which made me happy.

"I'm happy you understand now, Vivian. " Don't disrespect her again," he said, and she nodded.

He grabbed my hand, and we went to his car. He opened the door for me and then went to the driver's side.

Once in the car, he grabbed my neck and pulled me into a passionate kiss. The kiss was full of want and need. When he finally pulled away, I was breathless.

"I needed that; I missed you like crazy." He said

"I missed you too," I told him between breaths

"He kissed my lips one last time and then started the car and started driving us home.
