Ebony's POV

"What do you mean they are on their way here?" Keith asked

"They called and said they would be here by the morning. They were tired of waiting to meet you and decided to come here on their own," Jacob replied.

"I thought you told them she would let them know when she wants to meet them," Keith said

"I did, but as I said, they told me they were on their way. I only found out this morning they were coming.

"How do you feel about this, My Love? If you don't want to see them, then I will tell them to leave," Keith said 

"No, it's fine. I think it is time that I meet my grandparents. Let them come," I replied.

"Are you sure?" Keith asked

"Yes, I am sure."

TWO DAY LATER

"I am so happy to see you," Nancy said as she hugged me and then Keith.

"Thank you for coming back but you didn't have to. I know you were looking forward to your vacation," Keith said 

"Oh please, son. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We are  here to support you and Ebony," Nancy said 

"Your mother is right. We are happy to be here with both of you. I always knew my son was destined for great things. I am so proud of you, son. I am proud of both of you," Edward said as he hugged us both. 

"Thank you both," I replied

"Yeah, thanks, mom and dad. We really appreciate your support," Keith added.

"King Jacob told us that your grandparents were on their way. Have you heard from them since they told you they were coming?" Nancy asked

"They have been keeping in contact with my dad. I haven't talked to them yet, but he told me they should be here by the end of the day," I said 

"How are you feeling about meeting them?" Nancy asked

"I don't know. It seems weird because I never knew I had grandparents. I was worried they would be like my mom, but my dad told me they were different. They were always loving and caring towards my mom, and he doesn't know why she ended up the way she did," I replied

"If you want me to be there when you speak to them, let me know," Nancy said 

"That's alright, mom. I got her," Keith said, pulling me close to him. 

"I know you do, son," she said

"Don't be nervous, My Love. I am right here," Keith said. We were on our floor waiting in our family room for my grandparents to show up. I was nervous and knew Keith could sense my nerves through our bond.

"I know, Keith. Don't worry, I am fine,' I said. Suddenly the elevator opened, and Jacob walked out with a man and woman that I knew were my grandparents. Keith and I stood from the couch, waiting for them to come near us. 

"Ebony, this is your grandmother Ann and your grandfather Bill. Ann and Bill, this is your granddaughter Ebony and her Mate Alpha Keith.," Jacob said. I could see the resemblance between my grandmother and mom. They both had the same hazel eyes and facial structure. I also had those eyes. My grandfather had the same Carmel skin complexion as my mother.

"It is nice to meet you, Ebony," My grandmother said 

"It is nice to me, you two as well," I replied.

"Hello, Alpha, it is nice to meet you," Bill said 

"Just call me Keith, and the pleasure is mine," Keith said

"Why don't we go into the kitchen? Ebony cooked a delicious meal for us tonight." Keith said, and we headed to the dining room.

"You didn't have to do that for us, sweetheart," Ann said 

"It was nothing. I thought you would be hungry after your long trip here. Besides, I love to cook," I said

"You and me both," Ann said. We all sat at the table and began eating. I had made fried chicken, Greens, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. Everyone was silently eating their food which made me happy because that meant they liked it.

"You are an amazing cook, Ebony. Keith, you are a lucky man," Bill said 

"Yes, I am," Keith said and placed his hand on my leg under the table.

"Thanks. I really love to cook."

"You get that from me. I love to cook too. You definitely didn't get that from your mother because she is horrible in the kitchen," Ann said and then looked at me. "I am sorry."

"You have no reason to be sorry," I said 

"I didn't mean to bring her up. King Jacob told us how she treated you all your life. I am so sorry you had to go through that with her. It must have been hard living with her," Ann said 

"It was, but I am over it now. I have a better life and a fantastic Mate," I said 

"That is good. I don't know what we did wrong raising your mother. We tried to raise her into a good woman." Bill said, and I could see the sadness in his eyes

"It isn't your fault. She made her own choices, and you are not responsible for what they were," I said 

"I agree with Ebony. I watched you raise Ebony's mom; you were excellent parents," Jacob said, and they smiled.

"I wanted to apologize again for kicking you out of the Royal Pack. I should never have listened to Alice," Jacob said

"It is in the past. We are just happy that our granddaughter is alive and well," Ann said 

"So you are really training to become King and Queen?" Bill asked

"Yes, we are," Keith replied

"That's good. We know the two of you are going to do great. Are you planning on moving to the Royal Pack?" Bill asked

"No. We plan on moving the Royal Pack here. We are going to build a bigger Packhouse and new houses," Keith said

"That sounds like a good idea. We were wondering if we could stay here as well?" Bill asked

"Really? I thought you didn't want to join the Royal Pack again," I said 

"We didn't, but since our Long Lost Grandaughter and her Mate are going to be in charge, we thought it would be a great idea. Plus, it would be nice to get to know you," Ann said, causing me to smile.

"I would like that,"
