Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 130

Lilly's POV

"Today was a crazy day," I said as I sat with Max and Joyce. We were seated in the Pack hospital waiting for news on Rose and the babies.

"Yes, it was, but it turned out to be a wonderful day," Joyce replied

She was correct; the day started with Rose being kidnapped by Chloe's father, Hanson, but ended with me becoming a grandmother. Not only that, but we also found out that Rose wasn't pregnant with twins. She was pregnant with triplets. After Joyce delivered the babies, we got her and the babies out of that house. 

The guards put the witches that were in that house into a cell. They knew Rose was in the house and did nothing to help her get out. I just hoped that all the fighting would be over with.

"So, is this the end of the battle?" I asked Joyce, and she laughed

"Sadly, someone will always want to hurt our family. I'm afraid that the battle will never be over," Joyce said 

"Well, all we can do is live our lives and hope that we make it out alive and happy," 

Rose's POV

"You went into labor from all the energy you used to use your magic, but the babies are fine. I want to keep an eye on Violet because she is not as developed as her brothers. I want to keep you and the babies here through the night to monitor all of you," Sally said

"That sounds fine," Derek said

"Will Violet be okay?" I asked worried

"She isn't in any danger, but there is a chance that she will never have a wolf," Sally said, and I was relieved.

I could see that Derek had a worried expression on his face, and by his feelings, he was happy Violet was safe but sad to hear that she might never have a wolf. Sally told us that Derek Jr and Blake were in the way of us seeing Violet in the ultrasounds. Like they were trying to protect or something. Violet had green eyes, which was strange, but Aaliyah told me it might be because of how my eyes turned green when I used my powers.

"Let me see my grandbabies," Aunt Lisa said and picked up Derek Jr.

"He has your eyes, Derek," Aunt Lisa said

"I know mom and Blake have Rose's," Derek said

"And look at Violet's green ones. You were definitely a surprise. At least you can tell them all apart," Aunt Lisa said

My mom, Dad, Jason, Uncle Michael, Grandma Joyce, James, and Kate walked into the room. At the Pack hospital, there is a room for the Alpha and Luna. It is big, like a two-bedroom apartment, so we had enough room for everyone.

"I will give you some time alone," Sally said 

"Thanks, Sally," Derek said, and she left the room.

"Where is Mark?" I asked my dad

"He went for a walk," my dad said, and I couldn't help but feel guilty

Chloe is his mother, and I know it hurts him that she is gone. She tried to kill me, and I protected myself when I made the fireball hit her, but I still wish things didn't end like that.

"He doesn't blame you, Rose; he is just sad," my father said, and I nodded

Derek placed his hand on mine as he could feel my emotions through our bond. I looked at him and smiled, letting him know I was okay.

"So I am sure that you will be finish school at him now, right," Aunt Lisa asked.

"Yes, she will, and she will never leave my sight again. There have been too many close calls, and I will do everything I can to have them not happen again. Even if she gets upset with me," Derek said, and I could feel through his emotions that he was telling the truth.

"You don't have to worry; I am done taking risks," I said through mind-link

"I know you are, Flower, because for now on, I will make sure you take no more risks. I can't lose you," he mind-linked back. 

TWO DAYS LATER

Rose's POV

"Are you happy to be coming home?" Derek asked

"Yes, I am," I replied as he drove us home

We had just left the hospital after Sally had kept the babies and me there for two days. She finally said we could leave this morning, and I was ready to go home and sleep in my bed with Derek.

"I told my mom that we would stop by the Packhouse before we go home. She really wants to see the babies," Derek said

"Okay," I replied

We made it to the Packhouse, and Aunt Lisa was already outside waiting for us. 

"Let me see my grandbabies," Aunt Lisa said, and she picked up Blake.

Derek picked up Violet, I picked up Jr, and we walked inside the Packhouse. 

"Surprise," All the Pack Members said as we walked in, shocking me.

Balloons were everywhere, and a big congratulations sign was hung on the wall. Uncle Michael wheeled out with a giant layer cake.

Everyone danced and told us how cute the babies were, and we thanked everyone. After three hours we finally went back to our home. I was tired from the long day and just wanted to be with my mate and children.

Once we were in the house, we put the babies in their cribs. I was happy to see that Derek went and bought Violet a crip and some clothes while I was in the hospital.

"We can go get Violet more stuff when you are ready. I want you to rest for a could more days, though," Derek said

"That sounds good," 

We went into our room, and Derek ran me a bubble bath. He sat on the side of the tub and cleaned my body, sending sparks through me. Once I had my bath, Derek took a shower, and then we went to bed.

We lay in bed with my head on his chest and his arms wrapped around me securely.

"I almost lost you again, Flower," He whispered in my ear

"I know, but you didn't," I said

"I love you so much, Flower," 

"I love you too,"
