Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 248
Ebony's POV
"Are you sure you want to do this, My Love? If not, we can find another way," Keith asked. I looked at all of the Pack Members that Keith called to the fighting field for a meeting. We were going to tell them about me being a white wolf. We only informed the Pack Members that Keith fully trusted to meet us at the fighting field and made sure they knew not to tell anyone else about the meeting. We also had some Pack Members from Blood Moon that were trustworthy. Uncle Michael, Aunt Lisa, Kate, and Derek were also to support us.
"I don't think we have a choice. Besides, if you trust them, I know I can because I know you would never tell anyone about this. You weren't one hundred percent sure you could trust me," I replied. Keith pulled my body to his and inhaled my scent. I knew he was trying to stay calm because he was worried. I held onto him tightly and did the same, letting his amazing scent calm my nerves.
"Are you ready?" Keith asked.
"Yes, let's do this," I said, and we went over to the Pack Members.
"Thank you all for coming this evening. I know I didn't give much notice, but this is important. Your Luna has something that she feels you deserve to know. We wouldn't be telling any of you this if we didn't fully trust that you would keep this to yourselves, even though I am one hundred percent confident that all of you are trustworthy. I need you all to promise on the Moon Goddess herself that you would keep this information to yourself," Keith said. Everyone started looking around. I was sure they were wondering what was so important that they would have to swear on Selene.
A man stood from his seat and put his right hand on his heart before speaking. "I, Enzo Smith, swear, Alpha Keith on the Moon Goddess, Selene, that I won't tell a soul about what we talk about today," One of the Pack Members said. Soon all the others stood up and did the same thing, making me smile, knowing they trusted Keith and me that much to do that.
"Thank you, everyone. I know it isn't easy to swear on the Moon Goddess, but I had to make sure you would keep what we speak about here today a secret," Keith said, then he looked at me. He placed his hand and mine and pulled me closer to him. "Go ahead and tell them, My Love," he said quietly to me.
I looked at everyone sitting in the fighting field. We had brought chairs for them to sit on while we had this conversation. There were about fifty Werewolves on the fighting field waiting for me to speak. I was nervous and didn't know how to begin telling them about me being a White Wolf. So, I stood there speechless for a moment.
How does anyone tell someone that they are a special wolf? Especially when they are worried about someone wanting to harm them because of it. But I knew that these Werewolves could be trusted. I needed to do this because if I didn't, I could end up dead like Abby said I would if everyone turned on me.
"Go ahead, My Love, tell everyone what we came here to tell them," Keith said. I nodded and then looked back at everyone again. They were all looking at me and patiently waiting for me to speak.
I didn't believe telling all of them would be the best way to go about this because most of them would likely not believe me. And if they did, believe me, I was sure they would want to see my wolf for themselves. No one had ever seen a white wolf beside the Royal Council Members that knew about my father's side of the family. Because they have been keeping my family's wolves a secret, I was pretty sure everyone believed they were a myth.
I thought it would be best if I showed them instead of telling them what I was. Then, my bones began to crack, and a few seconds later, I was standing in front of everyone as my White Wolf. All of the Pack Members stood from their seats and gasped in shock.
"Oh, my Goddess,"
"Our Luna is a White Wolf,"
"I thought they were a myth,"
"I knew she was special," All the different Pack Members said. Keith was looking at me with a shocked expression on his face. He had no idea I was going to shift in front of everyone out of the blue. Hell, I didn't know I was going to change in front of everyone. I only decided to do that right before I shifted.
"As you can see, Luna Ebony is a White Wolf. We felt it was important to let you know about her. We hope you all understand why keeping her wolf a secret is important," Keith said.
"Of course, we understand, Alpha Keith. The Luna's secret is safe with us," Enzo said.
"Yes, we promise we won't tell anyone," all the werewolves from Bloodmoon and Silvermoon said. I shifted back into my human form, and everyone gasped again.
"Your clothes don't tear when you shift?" One of the Pack members asked.
"No, they stay on my body."
"Is there anything else that is different about you because you are a White wolf?"
I have special abilities. I am not the best at using my gifts, but I can sometimes move things without touching them."
"As in Telekinesis?"
"Yes, but I haven't been training long," I replied
"I knew she had powers. Remember when Ashlee challenged her at the Alpha Luna Ceremony, and she went flying out of the ring? I told you Luna Ebony was special."
"Are there any other White Wolves out there?" Another Member asked, causing me to look at Keith. I knew Jacob didn't want them to know about him.
"We are only here to talk about Luna Ebony," Keith said.
"What the hell is going on here?" I looked over and saw a not so happy Jacob walking over to Keith and me.
