Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 78

Rose's POV

"So, none of you want to try my lasagna?" My mom asked

"No," We all said, causing her to pout.

"I will take some, love," My father said and placed some of the burnt lasagnas on his plate.

"I guess the mate bond is strong," James said, and Jason and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't be mean to your mother," My dad said

"We aren't," James said

"You know what, mom, I will take some lasagna," I said, putting a little on my plate.

"Thank you, Rose," My mom said

I tried some, and it tastes way worse than it looked. I didn't know lasagna was supposed to be crunchy. But, my dad ate it with a smile on his face. 

"So the Ceremonies are next week. Is there anything that we need to get besides picking the cake and food this weekend," Aunt Lisa asked

"No, I think that's it. Rose has her dresses picked out, and we have ours," My mom said

"I guess that's it then. Did you send out all the invitations Michael," My mom asked

"Yes, most have already RSVP," He said

"I can't believe my little girl will be fully mated. Derek, there better not be any other problems with any she-wolves after this. I expect for you to treat her like the Queen she is," My dad said, causing me to smile.

"He took care of them today. Almost banished them from the pack," Uncle Michael said

"Why didn't he?" My dad asked

"Because Rose stopped him," Kate said

"Why would you do that?" My dad asked

"Because I didn't want him to kick them out. I don't like them, and they were rude, but I can't just blame them. What if something bad happened to them because they were banished? I don't think I could live with myself knowing I was the reason for it," I said

"Flower, they would have been the reason for it. They know the rules," Derek said

"It still wouldn't be right," I said

"I think you did the right thing. You are already acting like a Luna," Aunt Lisa said.

"Yes, she is, but if anything else disrespects you, they will be banished," Derek said and I knew he was serious.

"I agree with you, Derek. Unfortunately, the only way to deal with a slut is to get rid of them," Kate said, and her mom hit her on the shoulder.

"What,"

"Don't use that type of language, Kate," Aunt Lisa said, and Kate rolled her eyes.

"I'm just saying Rose is Luna in less than two weeks. The sl... I mean, females need to be put in their place if they disrespect her.

"Let us talk about something else. Rose, how have you been feeling with the pregnancy?" Aunt Lisa asked

"I am good besides having morning sickness in the morning," I said

"She was feeling bad this morning that she missed school. I think the main reason why was because of her being away from Derek, though," My mom said

"I agree; that's why you two need to stay strong. Rose is pregnant and doesn't need any stress. Derek, it is your job to make sure that she is happy and stress-free," Aunt Lisa said

"I know, and I plan to keep her stress-free from now on. I have an idea that could help with the stress. I wanted to move her into the house I had built for us. I think it would be good for us to have our own space," Derek said.

"But you are about to become Alpha," Uncle Michael said

"I know, and we won't be far away. I think it is what's best if Rose agrees, of course," Derek said, and everyone looked over at me

"That sounds like a good idea to me," I said honestly

I would love to have our own place. There would be privacy, and I wouldn't be around all those sluts he messed with before he met me. It would give us the peace that we need. Plus, I always wanted my own place, and the fact that I am pregnant with twins makes me feel that us having our own place would be a good idea.

"Good, I think we should move in after the Ceremonies," Derek said

"I guess it would be good for you to have your own space," My mom said

"And the twins would have their room," Derek said

"You are already taking my grandbabies away from me," Aunt Lisa said

"We are only going to be ten minutes away, mom. You can see them whenever you want," Derek said

"I guess. If you want to, but I will be spending the night at your house," Aunt Lisa said

"Of course, mom," Derek said

We ate and talked about everything. I was so happy that Derek wanted to move into the house with me. We would soon be a family with two children, and I finally felt we were on the right path.
