Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 108

Michael's POV

"You are still here?" I asked as Lisa and Lilly walked into the Pack House

"Rose went up to her room to get her purse but hasn't come back yet," Lisa said as I wrapped my arms around her.

"Well, Derek just went to the backyard to check on everything for tonight; maybe she is out there with him," I said 

"Lilly, something is wrong. I can sense a realm opening up," Joyce said as she walked into the Packhouse.

"I am sure everything is fine," Lilly said

"No, it is not. The battle is beginning," Joyce said

"Father, Vampires, and Rogues have crossed the border. Jace and I are on the way there now. Please make sure everyone gets to the safe room," Derek Mind-Linked 

"Okay, son, I will be there after I make sure everyone is safe," I replied through Mind-Link

"Vampires and Rogues are attacking. We need to get everyone to the safe room," I said

"Okay, I will make sure everyone gets there. Kate is still inside the car," Lisa said, panicked

"I will go get her. You guys go to the safe room," I said

"Lilly and I need to find Rose. This isn't just Vampires and Rogues. I have a feeling Marcus is the one that caused this," Joyce said, and they went up to find Rose while making sure the woman, children, and elderly went to the safe room.

I shifted into my wolf and was on my way to the border when I saw Jacob standing with three Rogues in wolf form. We couldn't mind-link anymore because he was no longer part of this Pack. He growled at me and then lunged at me.

I dodged him and then lunged back at him, biting into his arm. One of the Rogues came toward me and bit into my side, causing me to growl in pain. The other bit into my leg, and the pain made me shift back into my human form. Jacob shifted back as well.

"Why are you doing this, Jacob? We have been friends since we were pups," I said, causing him to laugh.

"Your family stole this Pack from my Great-Great Grandfather when it was Crystal Moon and made it a part of Blood Moon. We were never friends." He growled

"He was a horrible man, Jacob. He was raping and killing women," I replied

"He had lost his mate, and your family took that as a chance to steal his Pack. Now I am going to steal it back by killing you and your family," Jacob said 

"LEAVE HIM ALONE," I heard, and then Jacob and the Rogues fell to the ground

I turned and saw Mark and Jason standing there. Jacob shifted back into his wolf, and he and the Rogues ran towards us. Mark and Jason shifted as well. Mark bit into one of the Rogue's necks until his head fell off his body, and Jason bit into the other's arm, and he ran away. 

Jacob started running towards me. I couldn't shift because of my injuries. Jason came over and bit his side, causing him to fall. Mark came over and bit his head off of his body.

They shifted back and ran over to me.

"You are bleeding a lot. We need to get you to the safe room," Jason said, and they both helped me up. While we were walking to the Safe Room, a vampire attacked us.

Jason and Mark shifted into their wolves and began fighting him. At the same time, Jason was holding onto the vampire, and the vampire bit into his wolf's chest. The vampire spat Jason's blood out of his mouth and looked at him, shocked.

"That's impossible," The vampire said, and then Mark bit into his chest, biting into his heart.

Jason and Mark shifted back into their human form. 

"Are you okay?" Mark asked Jason. Jason had a big bite mark on his chest, but it began to heel.

"That's not possible. You should be dead," I said, knowing that a vampire bite is deadly to werewolves.

"Let's get you to the Safe Room," Jason said as I groaned in pain.

Rose's POV

"How much further do we have until we get there?" I asked Aaliyah

"Not that much further Little human," She said

It started pouring down rain, and I knew someone was casting a spell. 

"Rose, we have been looking all over for you," My mom said and then looked at me, shocked.

"Why are your eyes green?" She asked

"Because she has called upon her powers. Come on before we are too late?" Joyce said 

We finally made it to where the battle was. I could see a black hole in the sky.

"He is opening a portal so that all the evil from Norvok could get here. We need to stop him now," Aaliyah said

"What is that?" My mom asked

"A portal to Norvok. Marcus is bringing all the evil here so that he wins the fight," I said

Just then, I saw Derek on the ground naked. All the other Werewolves were also on the ground in the same position.

"You won't get away with this. I am going to kill you," Derek said

"You are not strong enough to defeat me, mutt," Marcus said and lifted his arm, sending Derek flying into a tree. He then went over to him and was about to stab him with a dagger.

I lifted my hand and sent the dagger flying out of his hand.

"Leave him alone," I growled in a voice filled with power

"Little witch, how did you wake up," Marcus asked

"I had help," I said

He lifted his hand, lifting me into the air, causing me to panic.

"You need to look within," My wolf said

I tried to use my powers but couldn't. Marcus used his powers, and my mom started walking toward him.

"I don't think you understand who is in charge. This should show you," He said, putting the dagger to my mom's throat. I began to get angry and could feel the power within me. I lifted my hand and made Marcus drop the dagger, and then I made him fall to his knees. 

I put my feet on the ground, picked up the dagger, and walked over to Marcus.

"Why are you choosing to be loyal to that worthless mutt? He isn't strong enough to be with you. If you choose me, we will Rule every Realm together. We will get what we deserve. I have seen it. I can show you the future," Marcus said and quickly touched my leg. 

I could see it. The future that he wanted. I was standing on a thrown before everyone, and Marcus was on the other side. I was powerful, and I am not going to lie; it felt good. But then I saw the destruction of our Realm. Housed were burnt down, and humans and werewolves were suffering. You could see humans, werewolves, and even children dead on the streets. Dragons, Vampires, and evil witches ruled. What shocked me was that I didn't care that they were suffering. I was Evil.

I opened my eyes and looked at Marcus, who had a huge smile. I smiled back at him.

"You are right, Marcus. I think it is time for you to get what you deserve," I said 

I lifted the dagger and stabbed him into his chest, and he looked at me, shocked.

"And that is for you to die," I said, taking the dagger out of his chest and slit his throat. I moved away from him and closed my eyes, calling on the element of fire. I looked at him, and he instantly began to burn alive.

The rain stopped, the black hole disappeared, and the werewolves shifted into their wolves. Derek came over to me in his human form naked and hugged me tightly. 

"You saved us, Flower," Derek whispered in my ear.

Derek got some clothes that he had hidden in the woods for times when he needed to shift without warning. Once he had put them on, he walked back to me.

Pack Warriors were gathering the Members that had lost their lives. It was sad seeing that we lost five Warriors. 

We walked back to the Packhouse to see warriors hugging their families, happy they were all safe. The five families that lost someone cried as they got the news.

"How is dad?" Derek asked Kate

"He is almost healed. Jacob had put wolfsbane in his system. Mom is with him trying to make him stay in the Pack Hospital for a little longer," Kate said

"Well, I guess the Ceremonies are canceled again," Kate said

"No, they are not," I replied

"But everything is destroyed, and people have lost family members," Derek said

"I know, and, sadly, people have lost their families, but I think we need to have a good memory to remember this day. I think we should ask the Pack to see what they think. I mean, if you want to have the Ceremonies," I said

"Flower, I want nothing more than to have both of the Ceremonies," He said

"What time is it," I asked

"It is half past three," My mom said

"Well, we still have time to have the Mating and Marking Ceremony. Let's tell the Pack to meet us at the front of the house in twenty minutes to see what they think," Derek said 

Twenty Minutes Later

"Hello, Pack Members. I have asked you to meet us here because I wanted to ask you all something. Today has been a horrible day. Pack Members have lost family and friends, and our hearts go out to all of you. I feel that we need to have a better memory for today. I am not trying to take the memory of your loved ones away, but I don't want evil to win. So I ask if you all would be okay if Derek and I had the Mating Ceremony today like we were supposed to and the Alpha Ceremony tomorrow. If you don't want us to, then just let us know, and we will change it to another day," I said

The Pack Members were silent for a moment. I thought they would say they didn't want us to have it today, but then an older lady who looked around seventy walked up to me.

"I am the grandmother of John Miller. He lost his life today, protecting us from the evil that came. I think it will be a good idea for you to have the Mating Ceremony today. John would want us to have a good memory for this day and not to think about it as the day he was killed," she said and placed her hand on my shoulder; she turned and looked at the crowd.

"I want to have the Ceremonies for my grandson. He was looking forward to them. She said, and everyone else agreed. Derek came up to me and pulled me to him. He placed his face into the crook of my neck and inhaled my scent.

"I love you, Flower," He said

My mom pulled me away from him

"Come on, we don't have much time, and the two of you need to get ready," My mom said, and we made our way up to my room with Kate and Kayla following behind to get ready for the Ceremony.
