Ebony's POV

Darkness. That was all I could see as I ran into the woods. Then, I suddenly bumped into something hard that made me fall to the ground. I looked up to see a man that looked about fifty. He had Red eyes and was wearing a black cape.

"Hello, My Little White Wolf," he said

"Who are you," I asked nervously. Something about him scared me, and I could sense that he was evil.

"You will know soon enough, My Little Wolf. I will see you soon." He suddenly vanished into the air. I got up and began to run again, trying to find a way out of the woods. "Ebony," I heard Keith say. I looked up to see Ebony standing in front of me. He was standing in the sunlight. 

"Keith," I screamed happily. Then, I began to run to him. He looked at me and began to smile, and I smiled back at him. But my smile turned into a frown when I saw the same red-eyed man standing behind Keith. He had a knife in his hand and was smiling at me evilly. "Keith," I said, and then the man stabbed Keith in the back.

"No, Keith," I screamed. 

"Ebony, Your awake. Don't worry. Everything is going to be okay. You are safe now," Keith soothed as he held my hand. I looked around to see that I was in the Pack Hospital. I began thinking about what had happened to me, how Alice kidnapped me by drugging me. I remembered Alice whipping and how Alissa helped her mom get to me. 

I thought about how I killed Rachel and remembered Keith walking into the room I was being kept in and seeing how my wolf killed her. I looked at him and saw he was already staring at me.

"You are not a bad person because of what you did to Rachel. You did what you had to do, and I don't want you thinking like that, Okay?" Keith asked

"Okay," I replied.

"I am going to let the Doctors know you are awake. Then, I will be right back," Keith said, standing from his seat.

"Wait," I said, and he looked at me. " What's wrong? Are you hurting anywhere?" Keith asked, panicked.

"No, I am fine, but can you page the nurse and let her know I am awake? I don't want you to leave me," I said

"Of course, My Love. I won't leave you," KEith said, and he paged the nurse, letting her know I was awake. She said the Doctor would be in shortly to check on me, and Keith thanked her.

"I heard you are awake, Luna Ebony. How are you feeling?" The Doctor asked.

"I feel sore, and my back hurts," I said.

"That is to be expected. Especially after everything you have been through. You are fortunate to be alive right now, Luna. You had so many different drugs in your system; it is a miracle you survived. You must be very strong," The Doctor said. 

"OF course, she is strong. She is my Mate, after all," Keith said, staring at me with so much love in his eyes.  

"Can I go home?" I asked, not wanting to stay in the hospital.

"I would like to keep you here overnight to make sure that I missed nothing. Plus, I want to give you one more IV to make sure all the drugs are washed out of your system. As long as everything stays looking good, you will be able to go home tomorrow."

"I think that is a good idea," Keith said, and I couldn't help but glare at him, which caused him to laugh. 

"Don't worry, My Love. I will stay with you the whole time."

"You better," I replied. The Doctor checked my vitals, gave me some medicine for the pain, and then he left. I turned to look at Keith to see him already staring at me. "My parents, Your Grandparents, Jacob, and Raven are waiting to see you. Would you like to see them now, or would you like me to tell them you are tired and need to rest?" Keith asked

"They can come in," I replied

"Are you sure? They will understand if you need some time," Keith said, concerned.

'I am sure," I replied. "But I don't want you to leave me alone to get them," I said. 

"I won't leave you alone. I am going to mind-link my dad and tell him they can come up," Keith said and mind-linked his dad. 

"We were so worried about you, Sweetheart. How are you feeling?" Nancy asked as she hugged me.

"I am fine. Ready to go home," I replied

"What did the Doctor say?" Jacob asked

"That she needs to stay here at least for the night. If everything is good tomorrow, she can leave then," Keith said. 

"Ebony, I am so sorry. I feel responsible for what Alice and Alissa did," Jacob said.

"It isn't your fault. You didn't know they were going to do that. Where are they at now?" I asked, and I saw Keith and Jacob look at each other with worried expressions on their faces.

"What is it?" I asked nervously

"Alissa is being guarded in our room, but we don't know where Alice is," Jacob said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"She got away before we arrived. I have Warriors and trackers looking for her right now," Keith said, and I couldn't help but worry.

"Don't worry, My Love. We will find her, and she will pay for what she did to you," Keith said

There was a knock on the door, and the Doctor walked in. "Hello, Luna, Alpha. Sorry for interrupting, but some Royal Council Members would like to talk to you."

"Tell them she is resting," Keith said 

"No. It is fine. I will talk to them now," I replied

"Are you sure, My Love?" 

"Yes, I might as well get this over with now. You know they will come back," I replied.

"Tell them they can come in," Keith said
