Ebony's POV

"Now that you two have decided to take your place as King and Queen, there are some things we need to discuss. First, we know that the two of you said that you didn't want to give up your Pack. I take it that means you are not willing to move to the Palace?" Thomas, one of the Royal Council Members, asked.

"No. We plan on staying here. We are not going to give up our Pack," I said 

"What about moving your Pack and making it a part of the Royal Pack?" Thomas asked. 

"We have already discussed that and feel it would be wrong to move everyone to the other side of the Country. Plus, Ebony is more comfortable staying here, and so am I," Keith replied.

"Well, then, what about the Royal Pack? Everyone that has ruled has lived there," Thomas said.

"Maybe the Royal Pack could move here and join the Silvermoon Pack. We could build a bigger Packhouse and more homes on the territory. They certainly have enough land," Jacob said 

"That doesn't sound bad. What do the two of you think?" Thomas asked

"I think that is a good idea. How about you, My Love?" Keith asked. I thought about it and couldn't stop thinking about how many new Pack Members we would have. The Royal Pack was twice, if not triple, the size of Silvermoon. I was worried about being responsible for that many Members.

"You don't think that is a lot of Pack Member To be responsible for?" I asked Keith.

"Of course not. Besides, we are going to be responsible for them anyway, being King and Queen," Keith said. I knew he was right. Even if they didn't live in our Pack, we were still responsible for all the werewolves.

"That sounds good," I said 

"Great. We need to start getting things ready. We need to start building the new Packhouse and houses for the new Member," Thomas said

"Do you think they will be okay with moving here? I am sure most of them have lived at the Royal Pack all their lives," I said

"They will be fine," Thomas said

"Now, there is another matter we need to discuss," Jacob said

"What is that?" Keith asked

"We have discovered that some of the Werewolves are worried that you are not fit to be Queen. We need to prove to them that they are wrong," Thomas said

"But I thought you said the Members at Royal Pack are excited that she is going to take her place as Queen," Keith said 

"They are, but there are some that love the Queen. Most of whom are from other Packs. They believe that because you are not the Queen's daughter, you should not Rule. They believe that Alissa should be Queen," Thomas said 

"That is ridiculous. You told us that Alissa couldn't take over because she doesn't have the Queen Aura that Ebony has," Keith said 

"That is true, but somehow Alice has put it in their head that Alissa is the rightful Queen," Jacob replied. I couldn't help but wonder if the Werewolves that believed I wasn't fit to be Queen were right. I also felt that I wouldn't make a good Queen. I wasn't raised the way all the Royals were, even if the King was my father. I knew Keith could feel my worry when he placed his hand in mine. I looked over at him and saw he was smiling at me.

"I don't know how Alice got to them, but I believe after she left the Castle, she went to speak to different Packs letting them know that King Jacob's illegitimate daughter was taking the crown," Thomas said, causing Keith to growl. I could tell he didn't like the words Thomas used to describe me, and it looked like he was ready to tear him apart. 

"It's okay, Keith. He didn't mean anything by it," I said, trying to calm him.

"No, I didn't mean to be rude to the future Queen. I am sorry if I offended you. I was only trying to tell you what the Queen has been telling everyone," Thomas said. Keith closed his eyes and took a deep breath before responding. "Just don't use any disrespectful words when referring to my Mate," Keith said 

"Of course," Thomas replied. I could see he was nervous.

"The point we are trying to make is that Ebony needs to show the people that she will be a great Queen and that she is the one that's supposed to rule. I believe the best way to do that is to travel to the different packs and introduce Ebony to everyone. Let her answer their questions and tell them why she will make a great Queen. Of course, you will come with her and be introduced as the future King. I believe that because you have been raised knowing you were going to become Alpha and also trained for it your whole life, the Pack Members will see that Ebony has a strong Mate by her side that will make a great king," Jacob said.

"It is also good that both of you have already taken your place as Alpha and Luna of the Silvermoon Pack. That will show everyone that the two of you are capable of being in charge of a Pack," Thomas added.

Okay, when do we start traveling to different Packs?" Keith asked.

"I was thinking in a few weeks after we have taught the both of you what your duties will be," Thomas said 

"Aren't our duties to make sure all the Packs are alright?" I asked

"Yes, that is true, but we will show you everything you need to do, like travel to Packs to ensure no one is being mistreated. You also might need to send warriors to help packs that other supernatural beings have threatened. It isn't easy being King and Queen, but we know you can do it," Thomas said 

"There is one more thing we need to discuss," Jacob said 

"What is that?" Keith asked

"Ebony's Grandparents have found out she has accepted her place as Queen and  are on their way to Silvermoon,"
