Ebony's POV

"Who is Mandy?" Keith asked, looking at Grandma Margarette. I was wondering the same thing.

"She is your father's sister, but she got into it with him when Queen Alice said she was doing black magic." I was shocked to hear Jacob had a sister he didn't speak to. He never told me about her. 

"You are certain she is Mandy," Keith asked.

"I mean, she looks just like Mandy, but she does look too young to be her," Grandma Margarette said

"Maybe Mandy had a daughter," Keith said.

"Maybe," Grandma Margarette said. "Anyway, I came out here because I wanted to ask if you two wanted to come over for dinner on Saturday?" She asked

"That sounds like a good idea," I said with a smile.

"Okay, I will let your grandfather know. He will be thrilled. Well, I better get back inside. See you later," she said 

"Goodbye," Keith and I said, then she walked back into the Pack Hospital.

Keith opened the passenger side door for me. I hopped inside, and he went over to the driver's side, got in, and started driving towards the Packhouse.

"I knew something was wrong with Tia or Mandy. Whatever her name is. I wonder why Jacob didn't tell us about her," Keith said. I was wondering the same thing but then thought about it. Then, I remembered Jacob had never met Tia. Whenever he came around, she would quickly leave. It was obvious now that she didn't want him to see her. 

"Jacob never met her. Whenever he is around, she isn't," I said.

"Because she didn't want him to see her," Keith said 

"That's what I think," I replied

"We need to talk to Abby. She is the one that brought Tia here. I am going to have Mark take her to a cell," Keith said 

"Wait. What if Abby doesn't know anything? What if Tia has nothing to do with this, Mandy? Grandma Margarette did say she is too young to be Mandy," I asked.

"We can't take that chance. We need to make sure that Abby and Tia are not evil and don't want to hurt you. Grandma Margarette said Mandy was into black magic, and that was why she and Jacob got into it," Keith replied

"So you are saying you think she made herself stay young because of the black magic?' I asked

"We need to talk to Jacob. Let him know what's going on. He is the only one that can tell us what really happened between him and his sister."

Tia's POV

"How could you be so careless," my mom said before she smacked me across my face. 

"I am sorry, mom. I didn't know anyone was going to confuse me with someone else. They called me Mandy," I said, and my mom tensed. I was confused when Luna Ebony's Grandmother called me by another name. I had never met a woman named Mandy before, and I didn't look like anyone I had ever known, not even my mom. How could they confuse me with her? It looked like my mom knew who Mandy was by her facial expression. "Do you know who this Mandy is?" I asked.

"No. Her Grandmother must have made a mistake. I have never met a woman named Mandy before," my mom said, but I could tell she was lying. I decided not to say anything about it because I didn't want to make her more angrier than she already was. 

"Now, if you are done asking me nonsense questions, we need to figure out how to fix this mess you have made. We can't let your foolishness ruin the plan we have made. King Jacob already messed up my plan when he stopped the fight from happening. So we need to figure out another way to get the little White Witch on our side," My mom said, and then she became quiet. 

"When you asked her to train with you today, what happened?"

"She told me that her father was going to teach her how to control her abilities," I said 

"Why would she do that? I thought she and her father were not on good terms right now?" My mom asked

"After he stopped the fight and rejected his Mate for her safety, they have been talking more," I said 

"What about her sister, the Princess? How is their relationship?"

"They are still not as close as they were before Princess Alissa betrayed her, but they are working on their relationship," I said

"Fuck, that was not a part of the plan, Tia. You were supposed to help her see that they were evil and couldn't be trusted. You know what King Jacob did to our family," My mom said. 

"I am sorry. I didn't know someone was going to think I was someone else. I am sure I can make them see they are making a mistake, and I am not this Mandy."

"It isn't that simple, you worthless child. You need to talk to your friend Abby and see if she can get the future Queen to speak with you alone. Then, we will kill Abby and take Princess Ebony with us," My mom said

"Wait, you never said we were killing or kidnapping anyone. You said we were going to show Ebony that King Jacob is a terrible man. I never said I would kill anyone," I said, and then my mom slapped me again.

"You will do what I say. Don't forget you owe me after what your disgusting father did to me. If not, there will be consequences," my mom said

"Yes, mother," I murmured.

"Good. Now go to your room. You will visit Silvermoon again tomorrow to see Abby." I went to my room and lay in my bed while the tears came. 

King Jacob had banished my mom and her parents when she was younger. Her parents ended up being killed by Rogues when she was only twelve years old, and she had to take care of herself. When my mom was sixteen, a Rogue raped her, and she ended up getting pregnant with me. I know she hates me because of it. I look nothing like her, so I have to look like the man that raped her. I don't blame her, though. Who would want to look at someone that looked just like their rapist? Sometimes she tells me she wished she would have aborted me or put me up for adoption. To be honest, sometimes I wish she would have done that as well. It's better than having my biological mother tell me how much she always hates me. 

I wish my life didn't have to be like this, but we don't always get what we want.
