Ebony's POV

A loud knock woke me up from my sleep. I looked at my phone to see what time it was. I was shocked to see that it was ten in the morning. 

I jumped up simultaneously as Raven walked into the room. 

"We are late for school," I said

"I know. You go take a shower, and I will get the door," Raven said, and I rushed into the bathroom. 

I took a shower and then brushed my teeth and combed my hair. I left my long curly hair down and left the bathroom once I was done.

I went into the room, grabbed my bookbag and purse, and walked into the living room attached to Raven's bedroom. When I walked in, Mark and Raven were talking about something. I looked up and saw Keith staring at me. He started walking towards me and stood right in front of me.

"You look beautiful," He said, and I couldn't help the blush that crept on my cheeks.

I decided to wear one of the blue dresses he bought me when we went to the mall. I could tell it was one of his favorites from how he looked at it. I liked it too so I thought why not wear it today.

"Thank you," I said, and he shocked me by putting his hand on my cheek and caressing it softly.

"You are more beautiful when you blush," He whispered, causing me to blush more.

Just then, someone cleared their throat, making us look up.

"We need to go. If I am late again, I will get detention," Mark said

"Well, you are already late, so that you will be getting that detention," Raven said, and Mark looked at her coldly.

We made our way out the door and to Keith's car. Mark and Raven went to the back and got in. Keith opened the passenger side door for me, and I thanked him before getting in the seat. He then went to the driver's side and started the car heading to school.

We arrived at school in about forty- five minutes. Keith hurried up, got out of the car, and opened my door.

"Thank You," I said as I got out of the car

He put his are around my shoulders and pulled me close to him as we walked into the school. We had just made it to school at the end of the first period, so everyone was walking around the school, getting ready for the second period. All the students and a lot of faculty watched us as we walked together. Keith stopped at my locker and waited for me to get my stuff out of my locker. All the eyes staring at us were making me nervous. Finally, Keith noticed and turned to see everyone who was staring at us.

"What the hell are you looking at? Get lost," He growled, and everyone started to leave.

"Don't worry about them, Love. They are just being noisy," He said, causing my heart to flutter when he called me Love again. 

He walked me to my second period. Once we arrived at the doorway of my class, he shocked me by pulling me toward him and hugging me tightly. He placed his face in the crook of my neck and inhaled my scent. I hugged him back, loving the feeling of him. I inhaled his scent as well, causing me to feel relaxed. He then kissed the top of my head and looked me in the eye.

"Wait for me here. I will meet you to walk you to your next class," He said 

"Okay," I replied and walked to my seat next to Kayla. I didn't even notice she was there because I was so caught up in Keith. 

"That was weird," Kayla said, and I couldn't help but agree.

"That will never last. She is not good enough for him," One of the students said

"Once he comes to his senses, he will push her to the curve," Another replied

I couldn't help but wonder if they were right. I didn't come from a good home and had nothing. Would he push me to the curve for someone better?" I wondered

"Don't listen to them. They are just jealous," Kayla said

The bell rang, and the teacher came in and began class.

I couldn't focus on anything she was saying. Instead, I was thinking about Keith and me and if we would work out.
