Vivian's POV

"I will befriend her like I was supposed to before we kidnapped her. She is gullible and will believe I am sorry. I will become her friend, and then we will kill her. Killing her will kill Derek, and Jace will be able to take over the pack. Landon will become Beta, and I will be Beta female giving me more power in the pack. I will blame it all on my father, and Jace will banish him." I said to Chloe

"What about me?" Chloe asked

"Killing Rose will tear her mom apart. Isn't that what you want revenge on her mother? So I kill Rose, and then you kill her mother," 

"That sounds like a great idea," Chloe said with a smile on her face

"I have to go before Landon gets suspicious. I will call you later to discuss this more," I said, and I got into my car.

"Where are you?" I heard Landon mind-link me. 

He was becoming clingy now that I accepted him. I know that he is my mate now that Landon and Jace made me stop drinking the tea my father gave me for years. I can't believe he would do that to me. 

I was determined to make my father pay for everything he had done to me. That's why I went to meet Chloe today, so I could get my revenge on those who betrayed me. 

My father for poisoning me and sending me to live with those witches and Derek. That bastard that chose that Witch over me. It's cool, though, because I don't come second to anyone. I should have selected Landon when I first felt the mate bond.

"I am on my way back to the Packhouse," I said. 

"Okay, you should be able to sneak back in through your window. I told the guards that you were tired and that I would watch you," Landon responded through mind-link

I smiled to myself, knowing that Landon would believe anything I told him. 

I walked in through my window quickly. Nobody besides Landon knew I had left. Now it is time for me to set my plan in motion.

I opened my door to make sure no guards were outside my room. They were still gone, so I went to my destination, Derek's father's office. I knew they were still planning everything for this weekend's Ceremonies. 

I knocked on the door, and his father told me to come in. I entered the room, and Derek's face automatically turned into annoyance.

"Yes, Vivian," Alpha Michael asked.

"I was wondering if your son had a moment to talk," I asked

"No, I don't have time for your games Vivian," Derek growled

"It's important; I am not playing any games," I said

"Son, you will be Alpha after this weekend; you have to learn to deal with each Pack Member no matter who it is," Alpha Michael said

"But father.."

"No buts. I will leave you to talk to her," Alpha Michael said and left the room.

Derek turned towards me and gave me a stern look, and I just smiled at him. 

"What do you want, Vivian?" Derek asked 

"I wanted to apologize for everything that I have done to you," I said

"Just stay away from my mate and me, and we will be fine," He said 

I started walking toward him seductively. 

"What are you doing," He asked, and I crashed my lips on his.

Derek's POV

"We have everything ready for you to take over," My father said

"Are you happy that I am finally taking over the pack?" I asked

"I am thrilled, son. I can finally take your mother on a long vacation," He said

"You and mom have been on vacation before, father," I said

"I said a long one. You won't see us for about a month after I make sure you have everything taken care of here. I finally get to relax," He said 

There was a knock on the office door.

"Come in," My father said, and in walked Vivian

Yes, Vivian," My father asked

"I was wondering if your son had a moment to talk," she asked

"No, I don't have time for your games, Vivian,"

"It's important; I am not playing any games," she replied

"Son, you will be Alpha after this weekend. You have to learn to deal with each Pack Member no matter who it is," my dad said

"But father.."

"No buts. I will leave you to talk to her," he said and walked out the roo.

"What do you want, Vivian?"

"I wanted to apologize for everything that I have done to you," 

"Just stay away from my mate and me, and we will be fine," 

Suddenly she started walking over to me with a smirk on her face.

"What are you doing," I asked, and she started kissing me, and I quickly pushed her away. She promptly held onto my shoulders.

"Derek, we need to talk," I heard Rose say as she opened the door. Kate and Rose both walked into my father's office. I could tell they were surprised by Vivian and my position.

"What is going on?" Kate asked. Rose was staring at me

"Rose, this isn't what it looks like," I said, pleading for her to believe me

"He tried to force me to have sex with him," Vivian screamed 

I looked at her, shocked. I can't believe she would make up something like that.

"Rose, she is lying. You have to believe me," I pleaded.

"My brother would never do that to you or anyone else," Kate said

"I promise I am not lying," I said, still looking Rose in the eye

Kate, Vivian, and I were all talking at the same time. 

"STOP," Rose screamed, and we all became quiet

She looked at me with a look I didn't understand

"I need to talk to you alone," She said, looking at me.

"Okay, you three escort Vivian back to her room," I told the guards that took Rose to the mall. They nodded and walked back with Vivian to her room. As Vivian left, I could see the smirk on her face and knew she had planned this.

I turned back to Rose when they left the room.

"I promise she is lying," I said, hoping she would believe me

"I know, Derek, there is something I need to tell you," Rose said, and we sat down so she could tell me everything.
