Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 204
Ebony's POV
It is the day of Keith and My Alpha and Luna Ceremonies. Keith is so happy that he is going to become Alpha finally. I, on the other hand, am nervous as hell. I am worried that I will not make a great Luna. But Keith has been reassuring me that I will make a perfect Luna. And if I weren't meant to be one, I wouldn't be his Mate.
Jacob, Alice, and Alissa are still here. Everyone in the Pack was shocked to discover he was my father. Everyone has begun to treat me like royalty. Even the Pack Members that didn't like me kneeled when I walked into a room. I tell them they don't have to do that, but it seems they can't help themselves.
I hardly have seen Alice since we all had dinner the other night. It seemed like she wanted to stay away from me, which I was okay with because I still didn't trust her and felt she was up to something and would keep my distance from her.
"Are you nervous about today?" Raven asked
"A little. It isn't every day that you become Luna," I replied
"You are going to make a great Luna," Alissa said
"Thank you," I replied. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door, and Nancy walked in with Kate and Aunt Lisa.
"Hey, Ebony. I can't believe you are becoming Luna today," Kate said as she hugged me.
"I know, right? It is crazy," I replied
"You are going to be great," Kate said
"Where are Uncle Michael and Derek?" I asked
"They are saying hi to Keith. They also went to talk to the King," Aunt Lisa said
"I can't believe he is your dad," Kate said
"This is Alissa, everyone. My little sister," I said
"Hi," Alissa said
Everyone was talking and laughing while I was getting ready. My hair was pinned up into a bun, and I was wearing the dress that Nancy and every other Luna from Silvermoon Pack wore at the Luna Ceremony.
"You are so beautiful, Ebony," Aunt Lisa said
"Thank you," I replied
There was a knock on my door, and Nancy went to get it. "Someone is here to see Luna Ebony," a Pack Warrior said
"I will go and see who it is," Nancy said, and she walked out of my room. A few minutes later, I heard Nancy and someone else arguing.
"It is up to her if she wants to see you," Nancy said
"She is my daughter. I just want to talk to her. Please, Luna Nancy," I was shocked to hear the sound of my mother's voice. I quickly walked over and opened the door to see Nancy and my mom talking. They both turned and looked at me.
"Ebony, you look beautiful," My mom said
"What do you want?" I asked
'I just wanted to talk to you for a moment, please," She asked.
"Sure. I will be right back," I said, and we walked into the family room of the Packhouse. Everyone was moving around, still preparing for the Alpha and Luna Ceremony.
"I wanted to apologize for not being a good mother to you. I would like to start over if you wouldn't mind," She said
"Why do you want to start over? Is it because I am Luna now?"
"NO, it is because you are my daughter. I just want a chance to be a mother to you," She said
"I have to think about it," I said
"Okay, thanks for giving it a thought. Can you walk me out to my car? I fell out of place here," She asked.
"Sure," I said, and we both walked out of the Packhouse. We walked to her car, which was parked farther from the house. " Why did you park so far away?" I asked
"I didn't know if they would let me park closer," She said. Her answer didn't make any sense to me, but I decided to let it go. Once we got to her car, she looked at me and smiled. "I am happy you decided to give me a chance," she said
Suddenly I felt someone grab me from behind. "Help, mom," I said, but she just stood there watching with an evil smile on her face. I began to fight back, using the training that Keith gave me. Finally, I managed to get the man off me and on the ground. But then, two other men began to come at me. I suddenly felt the energy in my body and closed my eyes. A scream left my mouth, and I lifted my hands, making both men and my mom fall to the ground.
I looked at my hands, shocked at what I just did.
"Are you okay, Luna Ebony," One of the Pack Warriors asked as he ran over to me
"No,"
