Ebony's POV

"If you need anything, call or come back. You know you will always be welcome here," Aunt Lisa said and hugged me.

"Thank You, and I will call if I need anything," I replied, hugging her back.

"I will see you at school," I said to Kate.

Mark, Raven, and I hopped inside the car. Mark and Raven got in the front. Mark was in the driver while Raven sat in the Passenger seat, while I sat in the back. The ride back to Silver Moon was quiet. 

Once we arrived, Nancy was already standing by the door, waiting for us to come. I was sure Mark must have mind-linked her letting her know that we were almost there.

"Thank you for coming back, Ebony," Nancy said

"It's not a problem," I replied

"He isn't doing good. He woke up, and his wolf was demanding to see you. The doctor tried to sedate him, but his wolf was going crazy. We had to lock him in a cell," Nancy cried.

I felt a pain in my heart hearing how bad Keith was doing. I thought it was my fault for leaving and wish I would have stayed. I should have listened to his pleas when he begged me to give him another chance. I had to fix this.

"Take me to him," I said, and everyone looked at me.

"I don't know if that is a good idea, sweetheart. He might hurt you," Edward said

" I think we should let her see him," Mark said

"Of course, you would say that. You don't care what happens to her," Raven growled.

"I do care," Mark said

"Whatever," Raven said

"I think Mark is right. Dr. Dawson said she was the only one who could calm him, and I don't think he will hurt her. She is his mate," Edward said

"You remember what he just did to her," Raven asked.

"I don't think he meant to hurt her. I am sure that he would never physically hurt her," Edward said

"I am going," I said, stopping the argument.

Everyone looked at me without saying anything. Edward was the first to speak.

"Okay, I will take you to him," Edward said

"Keep her safe, Edward," Nancy said

"I will," Edward replied

We walked to the jail and went to the cell where they kept him.

"We didn't want to put him here, but this was the only place that would hold him," Edward said

Edward opened the door, and I couldn't believe what I saw. Keith was lying in a bed with chains holding his hands and legs so he couldn't escape. When Edward opened the door, Keith let out a loud growl, and I knew it was his wolf. 

"Let me go so that I can get my mate," Keith's wolf yelled as he moved around, trying to break free of the chains holding him to the bed. I knew that they had wolfbane on them because that was the only way he wouldn't be able to break through them.

He looked over to where his father and I were standing and froze when he saw me.

"Mate, you came back," His wolf said

"Yes, I did," I replied calmly

"Come here, Mate," He said 

I began walking to the bed, but Edward placed his hand on my shoulder, stopping me. Keith's wolf didn't like that very much because he began to growl at his father.

"Get your hands off of my mate," Keith growled.

"It's okay," I said to Edward, and he looked hesitant at first but moved his hand away from me, and I walked over to the bed Keith was on.

Keith calmed down and watched me as I sat on a chair next to him. His eyes were pitch black as he watched me intently.

"I am sorry for what my stupid human did, mate. I told him it was a bad idea, but he didn't listen," he said

"It's okay, but can you give Keith back control now? We need to talk about everything," I asked.

"He doesn't deserve control after what he did to you, mate," 

"Please, will you do it for me," I asked

"I would do anything for you," he said and closed his eyes.

"Ebony, you came back," Keith muttered as he opened his eyes.

"Yes, I did," I replied. I couldn't help the tears that escaped my eyes seeing him like that.

Keith tried to remove the chains but couldn't because of the wolfbane. 

"Get those chains off of him," I yelled at one of the guards. 

The guard looked at Edward to see if that was okay.

"Do what she says," Edward said, and the guard removed them.

Once the chains were off, I could see the burn marks the wolfbane caused on his arms, making more tears leave me. I couldn't hold back the sob from my mouth, and Keith looked up at me.

"Please don't cry, Love," Keith said and placed his hand on mine.

I couldn't hold it back anymore as I began to cry in front of him.

"I am sorry; I should have given you another chance. I should never have left; this is all my fault," I said 

Keith sat up on the bed and pulled me into a hug. Sparks went through my body from the feel of his body on mine. Then, I began to calm down as he said sweet nothings in my ear, as I cried like a baby. Once I was calm, I saw that Edward had left the room.

"Dad is right outside the room. He is trying to give us some privacy," Keith said, and I nodded.

A couple of minutes later, Edward, Nancy, Raven, and Mark walked inside the cell. Nancy ran over and hugged Keith tight.

"I was so worried, son," She said

"I am sorry, mom," Keith said

"I know," Nancy said

"Let's get out of here," Edward said

"You don't have to tell me twice. I never want to spend another moment in one of these rooms," Keith said 

We walked out of the room with Keith walking beside me. He placed his hand on mine. I looked over to see him already looking at me.

"How about we go to our room and talk," I said, and a smile came on his face
