Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 273
Ebony's POV
"I am so proud of all of you for your hard work. I honestly believe that we will win this war," Keith said. We had been training with the other Packs for two days now. Making sure we were ready for what was to come.
"Yeah, we definitely will with a badass white wolf fighting beside us," One of the Pack Members said.
"I agree. My Luna is going to kick ass," Keith replied, looking at me and causing me to blush. Now that everyone knew that I was a White Wolf, I was able to fight in my wolf form with them. I was so happy I didn't have to hide from them anymore and could be myself and run with other wolves in the woods.
Everyone had been staying on our Pack Territory. Most were staying in Pack Hotels while others like Derek, Natan, and Ethan stayed in the Packhouse.
"That is it, everyone. You can go enjoy the rest of your day," Keith said, and everyone left happy, leaving Keith, Derek, Ethan, Nathan, and me.
"That really was some good training. We have some great fighters here. Your wolf is very strong," Ethan said, looking at me.
"Yeah, I never knew I could fight like that," I replied
"She is a strong fighter, but she isn't trained. It is easy to figure out what she is going to do next. I can tell she hasn't trained much." We all looked over to see Lance standing by a tree with a cigarette in his hand.
"No, she hasn't, but she is getting there," Keith replied
"We need her to get there sooner with this war coming," Lance said
"Luna Ebony is doing better than Warrior I have ever trained," Derek said
"Yeah, me too. I am sure you can see that My Luna is a quicker learner than anyone any of us have ever seen," Keith said
'Yes, your Luna is, and that would be fine if we had time to be patent with her, but we can't do that. Too much is at stake, and you know it. I think it would be best if you let someone else do her training. When you teach your Mate, I notice that you are way too gentle with her. Not as tough on her as you are on the others. Which isn't helping her in the long run with this war coming," Lance replied.
"Are you telling me I don't know how to train my Luna correctly?" Keith growled
"No, I am saying you are way too soft with her. That's not what she needs, and it is definitely not helping her," Lance replied.
I could see that Keith was getting upset at what he was saying, but Lance did have a point. Keith had been way too gentle with me when I trained with him. Something I wouldn't know he could be by the way he is with everyone else.
"Keith, he is right. I think it is a good idea for me to train with someone else," I said, causing Keith to look at me.
"You don't think I can prepare you for this war correctly," he asked. I could feel he was hurt through the bond and by his facial expression.
"That isn't what I am saying. But you have been way more gentle with me. I need to be able to fight at my best, and we don't have that much time until the Queen and whoever else comes here. I need to be prepared. You remember what Abby said. I am the only one who can save everyone," I replied
"I would be honored to teach her if you don't mind," Lance said, causing Keith to glare at him. Keith looked at me again, and his facial expression softened.
"Fine, Lance can help in your training, but I am going to be there as well,' Keith said
"OF course you are," Lance replied
Two Days Later
I was fighting one of the Pack Warriors in wolf form. My White Wolf dodged all of his attacks. Then without him noticing, I was behind him, and my wolf quickly pinned him to the ground.
"Great job. Let's see if you can take all three of them," Lance called out. I looked over to see three giant black wolves walking onto the fighting field.
"You want her to fight three of your Pack Warriors?" Keith asked
"Yes, they are my strongest and best trained Warriors," Lance replied
"Absolutely not, Lance. She is not fighting all three of them," Keith said.
"Why not. This is the best way for us to see if she is ready. When we go to war, there is no telling how many wolves she will have to fight at once. It isn't like they are going to make it a fair fight. Everyone is going to be fighting to win. We had to fight more warriors than this anyway," Lance said
"Yeah, but not at the beginning," Keith replied.
"You know we don't have the time to take our time with her. She needs to be prepared," Lance said
"I know that, and you don't need to keep reminding me," KEith growled.
"I obviously do because you keep trying to be gentle with her."
"Keith, it's fine. I will fight them all," I mind-linked him. I was still in my wolf form, waiting.
'What if they hurt you?' Keith asked through the link
"They won't hurt me. This training, and I need to make sure I am ready for the war. So this will help me," I replied through the link. Keith looked at me for a moment before glaring at Lance.
"Fine, but if anything happens to her, I am going to kill you," Keith replied
"Yeah, Yeah, whatever," Lance said as he rolled his eyes and turned to us. "Okay, you guys, let's go," Lance said
I watched the three big wolves as they slowly made their way toward me. I knew I needed to watch them all to see what they were planning. One of the wolves lunged at me, and I swiftly moved out of his way. The other two came at me right after, and I dodged one, tripping him and making him fall on the ground, and pinned the other to the floor.
Suddenly I felt something hit my back, which caused me to fall to the ground. I quickly recovered and turned to where the three giant wolves were to see them all running at me at once. I bit one of them in their legs, knowing they would heal quickly, dodged one, tripped another making them fall hard, and bit the other in their leg, knowing they would heal quickly.
The one I dodged came next, and I bit into his leg as well, and when the last came over to me, I pushed him out of the fighting ring. I looked around to see all my opponents injured and on the ground.
Everyone had stopped their training and was looking at me, shocked. I knew they couldn't believe I had just taken down three of the strongest warriors. Hell, I was shocked too.
