About forty-five minutes later, breakfast was done and the table was set

Derek came out of the bedroom and sat at the dining room table. I started to plate the food and placed it on the table. I put one plate in front of Derek and sat with my plate.

"This looks good Flower," He said and began eating. We ate in silence enjoying our meal. 

"Derek, I want to talk to you about what happened the last two days," I said to him and he looked up at me.

"First, I would like to apologize for going to that party without telling you. I should have let you know that I was not going to be home." I started

" I have already forgiven you for that," He said and said and took another bite of bacon

"But you shouldn't have reacted like that. Ignoring me and treating me like you didn't want me" I finished

"I know Flower! I told you I would never do that again and I mean that. I never should have ignored you but I was upset because you hurt me by sneaking out. I didn't know if you were ok"

"I know but I didn't mean for you to worry about me. I just wanted to go to a party with my friends. You intentionally wanted to make me feel bad. Then seeing you with Vivian was like a stab in my chest. You shouldn't have been with her in that position" I said

He looked at me and sighed

"I know Flower and I promise it won't happen again"

"You said that before and it still is happening. Do you still have feelings for her?" I asked him

'No baby I promise I don't have feelings for her. I don't have feelings for anyone but you. I know she has caused a lot of trouble and I am going to take care of it. I love and want only you" He said and came over to me.

He lifted me up from the chair and sat down with me on his lap. He kissed my lips softly and then hugged me. He looked me in the eye.
