Ebony's POV

"You looked beautiful," Nancy said as she walked onto Keith and my floor,

"Thank you. You look beautiful as well," I replied. The Royal Council told Keith and me that it would be a good idea to invite all the Alphas from the neighborhood packs, as well as the Packs we have treaties with, over to Silvermoon and tell them the news about Keith and me becoming King and Queen. 

Now I was getting ready to meet all of them. I was nervous because the only Alpha and Luna I knew were Uncle Michael and Aunt Lisa. I had only seen the others at Keith and my Alpha, Luna, and Mating Ceremonies. 

"Are you nervous?" Nancy asked

"Yeah, I hope the other Alphas and Lunas aren't upset that I am going to become Queen," I replied

"Everyone is going to love you, Ebony. You have nothing to worry about," Nancy said. I couldn't help but disagree with her. Everyone knew the story about who my mother is and how she isn't Mated to Jacob. I was sure everyone would feel that I shouldn't be Queen. I didn't want to worry Nancy with my thoughts so I just smiled at her. "I am sure you are right Nancy," I said 

"Of course I am right. Now let's go meet my son downstairs before he begins to worry about you," Nancy said. 

"Okay," I replied and we got into the elevator to meet everyone on the first floor of the Packhouse. Once we hopped out of the elevator I saw Keith speaking to Derek. Keith turned and looked at me as soon as I was close to him and smiled at me. "Hey, My Love. You are looking beautiful," Keith said and pulled my body close to his. 

"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself," I replied and he kissed me softly on the lips.

"Hey, Ebony. How have you been? Keith has been taking care of you right?" Derek asked

"Yes. He has been great," I replied with a smile

"That is good because if you would have told me otherwise I would have had to kick his ass," Derek said.

"You don't have to worry about anything, Derek. I would kick my own ass if I didn't treat her right: Keith said.

"Where are Uncle Michael and Aunt Lisa?" I asked

"They are talking to Edward," Derek said. I looked around for Nancy and noticed she wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"I was just with Nancy but I guess she went to find Edward," I said 

"Yeah, I saw her walking towards the backyard while you were walking toward me," Keith said. I looked around the house to see that it was packed with members of other packs which was making me nervous. I didn't know so many Pack Members were going to show up.

"I thought the Royal Council said we were only meeting the Alphas and Lunas of the Packs. Not the whole Pack," I said looking at Keith.

"When they came to speak to mom and dad they invited the whole Pack to meet the future Queen and King," Derek said

"Really," I asked

"Yes,  almost everyone from Bloodmoon is here," Derek said.

"Almost everyone from all the Packs is here," Keith added.

I looked around and could see students from school that had talked about me all through high school. I couldn't help but feel worried that they wouldn't accept me as their Queen. They had always seen me as the poor, weak girl that would never do anything with herself. 

"Don't worry My Love. Everyone is going to accept you. You were made for this," Keith said as he rubbed my arm tenderly. 

"You look lovely Ebony. Are the two of you ready?" Jacob asked as he and Alissa walked over to us. 

"Thank you. Both of you look great as well. Alissa, I love your dress" I said

"Thanks," Alissa mumbled

Thank you, come on so I can introduce the both of you to everyone as my daughter and the future king and queen," Jacob said and Kieth and I followed him to where the Royal Council Members were standing. I didn't miss the glare that Alissa sent my way as I passed her. I wondered if she was upset because I decided to become Queen and began to feel bad. We had been getting along so well until now. I only could hope that our relationship would get better with time. Maybe she wasn't mad at me and worried about her mother. 

"Hello Alpha, Luna's, and Pack Members. We are happy that you could join us on this special occasion. Most of you know that my daughter was taken from me as an infant by her mother and I had been searching for her all these years. I am happy to tell all of you that she has been found," Jacob said and gestured for me to come over to him which I did. "I am sure a lot of you know Luna Ebony from the Silvermoon. She is my daughter and I am happy to tell all of you that she has decided to take her rightful place as Queen," Jacob finished. I was shocked when everyone began to cheer. 

"Thank you, everyone, for your support. Dinner is now being served If you would please take your seats," One of the Royal Council Members said and everyone headed to their seats.

"Everyone seemed happy with everything," I said as Keith and I walked over to our table. 

"Of course they are happy. I told you there was nothing to worry about, My Love. They accepted you when you became Luna of our Pack. Why wouldn't they accept you becoming Queen?" Keith asked while pushing my seat out for me. I sat down and then he sat in the seat next to me. 

Keith, I have missed you," I looked over and saw someone I hoped to never see again in my life.
