Ebony's POV

Keith and I walked hand in hand back to where all the different Packs were waiting for us. I didn't know why I let Rachel get to me the way I did. I knew what she was trying to do. She wanted to show all of the Werewolf Packs that I was weak, and I had made it easy for her to do by running away. Keith made me feel better. I could feel through our Mate Bond that he meant everything he told me. It made me happy knowing that he didn't see me as weak. 

"There the two of you are. Everyone has been waiting for you to come back," one of the Royal Council Members said. I could tell she was annoyed with me leaving the way I did.

"Are you alright, Ebony?" Jacob asked as he walked up to me. 

"I am fine. I just needed to get away for a moment," I said 

"I understand. Maybe we should tell everyone to go home and that we will make another time for them to ask their questions," Jacob said 

"I think that is a good idea," Keith said 

"No. I can't keep running away from anyone that says something to me that I don't like. If I am going to be Queen, I have to be able to deal with any situation that comes my way without freaking out. Let's go answer their questions," I said 

"Are you sure, My Love? We can do it some other time. I am sure everyone would understand," Keith said

"I am sure. Come on," I said. I walked nervously onto the stage with Keith holding my hand. I knew he could tell I was nervous, but he knew I needed to show everyone that I wasn't weak. 

"We are sorry for the interruption earlier. Does anyone else have any questions for the future King and Queen?"

"Do you feel that Rachel's words were true about you being too weak to be Queen? We all know that you were not raised in the best setting?" 

I could see Keith getting upset by the Pack Members' question. I could feel from our bond that he wanted to rip him apart. I placed my hands on him and wanted him to calm down before he killed someone.

"You are right. I wasn't raised in the best setting. Most of you know who my mom is and how she treated me, but that doesn't mean I am not fit to be Queen. I know what it is like to suffer. To live without and have to work for everything I need and want. I am almost certain that no other Royal had to do work for what they have. Not physically anyway, and they have never suffered a day in their life. I know for a fact that my Father, King Jacob, had always been given everything he needed. I believe that it is a good thing that someone that can relate to all the Werewolves that have struggled Rule over them," I said 

"So, are you saying that the reason King Jacob let Queen Alice do all those evil things is that he never had to struggle before?" One of the Members asked. I knew he was trying to get me to say something bad about Jacob. 

"No. That is not what I am saying. I agree that Queen Alice did some terrible things, and deserves to be punished, but I don't think it is right to blame the King, and I am not only saying that because he is my father. All of you that are Mated know how you feel about your Mate. You love them unconditionally and believe their every word. Queen Alice knew that my father would believe her because they are Mates," I said.

"Do you have any problems with your sister, Princess Alissa? She would have become Queen if you weren't found. Is she upset with you because of that?" 

"No. We do not have any problems with each other. We actually get along great. I am happy to have a little sister. I was raised as an only child and always wished I had a sibling to play with."

"Do you think Queen Alice is upset that you are becoming Queen?"

"I don't know how she feels," I replied. I didn't want to get into a conversation about what I thought about Alice. 

"Alpha Keith, Are you excited that you are going to become King?"

Rachel's POV

"I need you to take Rachel back to the Packhouse," Derek said to John, one of the younger Pack Warriors. 

"Okay," John said, and Derek walked back towards the celebration. I couldn't believe Ebony was going to become Queen or that she was Mated to Keith. Keith and I had been best friends since we were little, and I always had a huge crush on him. I knew one day I would be his Luna.

When I arrived back at Blood Moon Pack, Keith's ex-girlfriend Sandy told me the news about Keith and Ebony being Mates. I had never liked Sandy because she was always on Kieth's cock. Before I left, Keith used to love the attention Sandy gave him, as well as a lot of other she-wolves. I always thought she was the one I would have to get rid of in order to be with him. The last thing I could have imagined was Keith being Mated to Ebony.

Keith was nothing but mean to Ebony since I could remember. He would call her names and prank her any chance he got. He would tell me how lucky Ebony was that she was not a part of the Silvermoon Pack because when he became Alpha, she would be banished if she was.

Imagine my surprise when I found out Ebony and Keith were Fully Mated. I wanted to kill my parents for making me leave Blookmoon Pack Freshman year. If they wouldn't have made me leave, I would have been able to stop him from completing the Mating Process. Now I had to find a way to break them apart. I know it is going to be difficult because they are Fully Mated but I was going to find a way. Keith was going to be mine no matter what.
