Keith's POV

"I can't believe you are Mated to the King's daughter. Do you think he is going to kill me for bullying her? Well, technically, you're the one that bullied her, and I just watched," Mark said 

After leaving Ebony's mother's apartment, I drove back to the Packhouse. I knew I needed to tell Ebony everything her mother had told me. But I was going to wait until she sobered up and sit down with her and tell her everything. Ebony deserved to know who her father was, and I knew she would be shocked when she found out who.

King Jacob was the King of all Werewolves. He made the rules along with the council. He usually sat in the back, let the counsel take care of everything, and interfered only when needed. 

When we arrived at the Packhouse, I immediately went to talk to the Pack doctor. While Mark and I were away, I had one of the Pack Doctors take some of Ebony's blood so that they could see what was put in her drink. I knew Ashlee had something to do with it, and I would punish her once I had the proof. 

"Have you found anything?" I asked 

"We found traces of wolf spawn in her system. That is what affected her tonight," 

Wolf-spawn was a drug that could affect werewolves. It would be put in a she-wolves drink to loosen her up like a date rape drug.

"Does she need anything to stop the effect of the drug?" I asked

"No, she should be better after a good night's sleep. She will probably have a headache in the morning, though," 

I went to Ebony and my room after talking to the doctor. After tonight I  needed to see her make sure she was truly safe. Things could have ended horribly if she didn't call me tonight. 

I quietly opened the bedroom door to ensure I didn't wake her. Then, I walked over to the bed and sat next to her. She was the most beautiful girl in the world, even with the soft snores that came from her mouth.

"Keith," she said, whispering her eyes on me.

"I didn't mean to wake you," I said while she sat on the bed.

"It's okay; what are you doing here?" she asked.

"I was just checking on you. I will leave you to sleep," I said and stood to leave, but she placed her hand on mine, and I turned to look at her.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" she asked, and I could see her cheeks redden.

"You want me to stay with you?" I asked shocked

"Yeah, Here, get in the covers," She said 

I took off my shoes, socks, and shirt and went to bed with her. She stared at me, and I did the same to her. 

"Are you feeling better, Love?" I asked 

"I am fine, a little embarrassed but fine," she said

"You have no reason to be embarrassed. It's not a crime to have fun every once in a while. Just next time, don't take drinks from others. You don't know what they are putting in your drink," I said

"Trust me; I will never take a drink from anyone again," she said

"Do you remember what happened?" I asked

"Yeah, I remember everything," she blushed.

"You have no reason to be embarrassed, Love," I said, and she just looked at me.

"Come here," she said, and her face turned to confusion.

"Come lay on my chest," I said

She was hesitant initially, but then she moved closer to me, placing her head on my chest. I loved the feel of her warm body and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer to me. The feeling of sparks was all through my body, and her amazing scent began relaxing me. I heard her take a deep breath and knew she must be taking in my scent, and I couldn't help but smile.

"Go to sleep, Love. It has been a long day," I said. I knew she had fallen asleep when I heard her low snores. I thought about everything that happened today and promised myself that nothing like this would ever happen to Ebony again.

It was time for me to make sure everyone knew not to fuck with my Mate and the future Luna of Silver Moon.
