Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 74
Vivian's POV
"Hey, girl, you have been on lockdown," Sandy said as she entered my room.
"Yeah, I have been stuck with Landon or two other guards," I said, annoyed.
"You hear about what happened between Samantha and that bitch Rose," She asked.
"No, what happened?" I asked
"I guess Derek has been fucking Samantha behind Rose's back. Now there is trouble in paradise. They just found out she's pregnant with his baby, and they had a whole barbeque in the backyard.
They are supposed to have their Mating Ceremony next weekend, but now I don't know if that will happen," She said, and I just listened to her. Honestly, I didn't care about what was going on with Derek and Rose. I had my own problems that I had to figure out. One of them was Landon and this mate pull that wanted me to believe that he was my mate.
"You don't seem to care," Sandy said, and I shrugged.
"Well, the guards are outside the door. So we could have some fun before they decide to disturb us," She said and came over to me and started taking off my clothes. I thought that maybe this was what I needed to get my mind off Landon, and I started kissing her on her lips.
She took my shirt off and started kissing my tits, and her hand went down under my pants. Then, she started playing with my pussy, while kissing my tits. For some reason, I couldn't get into it like I usually could. I felt dirty, letting Sandy touch me, and I knew it had something to do with Landon.
"Stop, Sandy," I said, and she looked at me, confused.
Just then, Landon ran into my room. He had a look on his face that made me feel bad. He felt betrayed. He looked at me for a moment and then left the room.
"Landon, wait," I yelled, but he kept going.
"You got to be kidding me. Landon, is your mate?" Sandy asked
I looked at Sandy, and the only thing I could do was the one thing I was scared of: facing the truth.
"Yes, Sandy, he is my mate," I said
"That can't be. You said Derek was your mate," She said, confused.
"Well, I was wrong. I am sorry, but I have to go," I said and ran to find Landon. I knew the two guards were following me, but I didn't have time to look at them.
When I reached the front door, I saw Landon talking to Jace. I could tell he was upset while he listened to my brother talking to him. When they noticed I was there, Jace stopped talking. They both stared at me, but my eyes were on Landon.
"I need to talk to you," I said
"About what," He asked.
"Just come talk to me, okay, I said, and he followed after me out the door.
We went and sat on the bottom of the steps.
"What do you want to talk to me about?" He asked
"I need to know the truth. Are you playing any game to make me think we are mates?" I asked
"No, and you know I am not playing any games, Vivian. You feel the bond because we are mates. I just don't understand why you are fighting what you already know," He said
"My father would kill you if I gave into the bond," I said honestly.
"Why," He asked
"You know why," I replied
"I do because he wants you to be mated to Derek. Guess what? That will never happen. He is mated to Rose, and you are mated to me. You could be happy if you quit trying to make your daddy happy," He said, and I didn't know what to say.
"I know your daddy is making you do things that are not right. I think you know they are not right. You need to stop before you get into something that I can't get you out of," He said and walked away.
"I can't believe what I have just seen," my father said. I turned around, and he was walking toward me.
"I know you aren't falling for that nonsense," My father said
I didn't say anything. I was too scared to tell him what I really thought.
"I am going to take care of Landon. Pretty soon, he will be six feet under," My father said, and I couldn't hold back anymore.
"No, dad. You won't hurt him," I said. I could tell I had shocked him by speaking up.
"What did you say, little girl?" My father asked
"You heard me, daddy. Leave him alone," I said, and he was about to smack me in my face, but someone grabbed his hand.
I looked up and saw Jace holding my father's hand.
"I don't know what's going on, but you are not going to touch her, father," Jace growled and let my father's hand go.
My father looked at me with a frown.
"Don't forget who knows what best, Vivian," He said and walked away.
"What was that?" Jace asked
"Nothing to worry about," I said, not really believing my own words.
