Derek's POV

"You accuse your future Alpha of trying to sexually assault you," My dad asked Vivian while she was sitting on the stand.

All the Pack Members had shown up to this trial. My father ensured the prosecution was tonight, and I was grateful. Since he was still Alpha for the week, he had to arrange for the trial to be tonight.

"Yes, he tried to rape me. I wanted to apologize to him for how I was to his mate, and he attacked me. If Rose didn't come in when she did, I don't know what would have happened," She cried. 

I heard a gasp from some Pack Members that believed her lies. I was upset and wanted to tell everyone she was lying, but I knew it was best to let my father take care of this.

"So if there was evidence of what happened, what you said would be it," My father asked.

"Yeah, I am not lying," She sniffed, her crocodile tears showing.

"I can't believe Derek would do that to her. He isn't who I thought he was," I heard one of the older Pack Members say

"She is lying," I heard another say.

Everyone started to argue among themselves. Some believe Vivan, and some believe me.

"Jace, please step forward," My father said

I looked over to where Jace was walking toward my father with a video in his hand. He handed it to my father. He looked over at his sister with a sour look on his face.

"I can't believe you would stoop so low," Jace said and walked over to where I was standing.

"Do you know what this is?" My father asked

"No," She said, looking confused

My father let out a laugh

"This is a security tape. Do you know what it is a tape of? he asked

"No," She said nervously

"It is a tape of my office. This will show me and everyone else what happened today. Now I ask you again, Vivian, will it show what you said happened," he asked.

"It should,"

"That's a yes or no question, Vivian. But, you know what, I will just play the tape," He said and put it in the old VCR.

It showed everything from when my father left to when she hurried up and kissed me as soon as it started. It showed me pushing her off me and the moment Rose and Kate walked in and accused me of assaulting her.

Everyone turned and looked at Vivian. She looked scared now, knowing that she was caught red-handed lying.

"It doesn't look like that is what happened, Vivian. Do you want to try again?" My dad said coldly

"That tape is a lie. They are using that witch to hide the truth," Vivian screamed and pointed at Rose.

"Enough! You are not going to accuse my mate of such nonsense," I yelled in my Alpha tone, causing her to fall out of her chair and to her knees.

"Son, I think you should be the one to sentence her," My father said, and I nodded, then stood where my father by my father.

"Vivian, you have not only tried to come between my mate and me but also schemed to hurt us. You lied, said that I assaulted you, and then claimed that my mate was using magic to hide the face. I should do this a long time ago. As a result of this, you are banished from the Blood Moon Pack. If you ever set foot in this Pack again, you will be put to death," I said, and she held her chest.

I knew it must have been hurt because being banished from a Pack is painful. Of course, losing your mate isn't as painful, but a wolf needs to be a part of a Pack. They are their family, and when they are alone, they lose a part of themselves.

I turned and went over to Rose. I pulled her close to me and inhaled her scent. I needed to calm down before I ripped Vivian's head off for accusing my mate.

"Guard, take her off Blood Moon territory," My dad said, and they lifted her from the ground, taking her away. 

"I am so sorry for what she did, Derek and Rose," Jace said and followed the guards escorting Vivian.

I walked with Rose over to where our parents were. Rose's mom hugged her tightly.

"Are you okay?" Her mom asked her

"Yeah," Rose replied

"I am happy that is over with," Jason said

"We still need to get Jacob out of here," Max said. He didn't like Jacob, and neither did I. I knew he had something to do with everything, but he had been acting calm. So I knew he was up to something. 

"Yeah, we will get him soon," I said

All of a sudden, it started thunder storming. The wind was going fast, and I knew someone was using magic.

"Derek," I looked over and saw Landon with Chloe

"What are you doing, Landon?" I growled

"I am here to make you pay for everything you did to my mate," He said and started running toward me.
