Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 7

While eating, Jason called and told me he was in front of the food court. We all walked out to his car and made our way back home. Once we arrived home, I told them I was going to my room to rest and headed up the stairs. About ten minutes later, I heard a knock at the door. I went over to the door and opened it to see Kate.

"Hey! Can I come in? There is something I want to talk to you about." She said, and I moved over so she could come in.

Kate's POV

" What do you think they said to her? Why is Vivian back?" Kayla asked through mind-link while Jason was driving us home.

"I don't know, but I can tell you whatever reason she came back is not good."

My brother and Vivian have been friends since childhood. They grew up together and started dating when they were in High School.

She's the daughter of my father's Beta, Jacob, and the twin sister of Jace, Derek's best friend, and soon-to-be Beta.

Our parents thought Vivian and Derek would become mates when they turned 18. However, when they found out they weren't mates, she left to stay with family in the Silver Moon pack in Indianapolis.

Though she was not that far from us, she never came to visit ever since she moved after Derek turned 18.

I know she is up to something. I never liked her. I always felt there was something off about her.

Once we arrived home, Rose said she was going to her room to relax and headed up the stairs.

I know she is Derek's mate and that she doesn't know about our kind. I also l know something has been bothering her.

" I'm going to go talk to Rose. Something is bothering her," I mind-link to Kayla.

"Okay! Don't tell her anything; that is Derek's job." Kayla said.

Yes! Kayla also knows they are mates. Everyone knows; Derek made sure of that before he left.

That's why I am worried about why Vivian and her two sidekicks came up to her. I know he has been fucking Sandy and Cindy because they always come to his office with messy hair and clothes.

They also love bragging about what they do with him to their friends.

I knocked on her door and asked if I could come in so we could talk.

She moves out of the way for me to walk in.

" I know something has been bothering you and want to let you know you can tell me. I also know Vivian said something to you that made you upset. I think it has something to do with my brother. You can talk to me."

She looked at me briefly and then nodded before telling me to sit.

She was quiet for a while, trying to figure out how to begin.

Then she told me how she met my brother by walking in on him with Sandy and Cindy having sex and how she felt afterward.

I was upset when she told me what they said to her later about not being worthy of him. I was upset again when she told me Vivian claimed she was here to get back to him. She knows Rose is his mate and that when someone finds their mate, all attraction to anyone else sexually is gone. He will only want their mate. She knows Rose is human and doesn't know any of that.

" Look, Rose, don't believe what they told you. Derek does not want any of them."

She just looked at me like she didn't believe that what I said was true.

"I don't know what is wrong with me. I feel hurt that Derek slept with those girls and am afraid he will do it again. But, at the same time, I feel I know he won't sleep with them again. I feel torn between my heart and my brain, Kate. I am worried he thinks of me as an easy girl. But I also don't know why I worry about him when I don't even know him."

"Why would he think you were easy?" I asked her, and she looked at me with tears.

"Did you and he," I started, but she cut me off.

"No! We didn't have sex, but I let him do things to me orally right before he left. I have never done anything like that before; it's just, I couldn't help it," she said as the tears started to fall.

"Shh, it's okay, I understand, and trust me when I sat, he doesn't think you are easy. So please don't think like that. You two need to talk about everything when he returns, okay." I said, and she just nodded.

I stayed with her longer, and we talked about other things.

After that, I went to my room to relax. I still couldn't believe the things Vivian and her two sidekicks said to her.

I think I will give my brother a call and let him know what's going on. He needs to put them in check soon.

I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.

"Hey, sis, is everything okay? Is Rose okay?" He asked, concerned.

"She is not physically hurt, but we need to discuss something important. Are you busy?"

Derek's POV

"Thanks for helping us with the Rogue problem Alpha Derek." Chris, The Beta of Blue Moon's said.

No problem, Chris, I am happy I can go home tonight." I told him.

"Why don't you wait until tomorrow morning and rest? Then, you can have some fun with Lindsey if you like," Chris replied, and I couldn't help but growl at him, offering me another she-wolf after I told him I found my mate.

" You dare to disrespect my Luna by offering me some other she-wolf." I growled at him, ready to  attack,"

Jace, my Beta, and Landon, my Gamma, held me back before I tore him apart.

" I am sorry, Alpha Derek! I mean no disrespect to your Luna," Chris said while he kneeled and bowed his head to me out of respect.

After calming down, I told him never to disrespect my Luna again.

After that, I said goodbye to Alpha Greg. When I was getting in the car, my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket and saw my sister was calling.

"Hey, sis, is everything okay? Is Rose okay?" I asked, concerned.

"She is not physically hurt, but we need to discuss something important. Are you busy?"

" No, I am getting in the car to leave; what's up?" I said while sitting in the back seat.

" Vivian is back," She said.

She told me everything Vivian, Cindy, and Sandy told my mate, and that Rose thinks I might get back with  Vivian. I couldn't believe they would confront my mate like that.

" Thanks for telling me, sis. I am so happy you and Rose get along."

"She is a good person, and I already love her like a sister.

She is feeling the mate bond. She has hardly been eating, and she has been sad without you.

Today I finally got her out of the house, just for Vivian to mess up her mood.

You need to explain to Rose what we are, that you two are mates, and what that means," She said, and I knew she was right.

" Is everything okay?" Jace asked after I got off the phone with my sister.

" I don't know! Your sister is back. Did you know she was coming? I asked him.

"No, we haven't talked much since she left."

He and Vivian are twins, but they have never been that close. We all used to hang out when we were kids, but they hardly got along.

"You need to watch her, Derek. She has to be up to something." He says seriously.

I knew he is right. Vivian and I have a past. I dated her all through High School.

Back then, I wanted her to be my mate but figured later on that I only wanted that because our parents always told us that we would be Mate since we were little.

I was not faithful to her when we were together. She would even join in when I would fuck other girls and get her pussy eaten or eat theirs.

Back then, I was hoping she would be my mate because she didn't mind me messing around.

When I turned eighteen and found out she wasn't my mate, we stayed together for a while. Then she moved without telling anyone. Jace didn't even know she was leaving.

I used to wonder how we couldn't be Mates. But after meeting Rose, I don't even know what I saw in Vivian.

I am so mad at myself for messing around with all those females. They are causing nothing but trouble.

One thing I know is I have to fix everything and make sure everyone knows not to fuck with my mate or me. Or there will be consequences no matter who they are.
