After the Pack Meeting, Keith had asked if I would go out with him for dinner and a movie, and I said I would. After Keith apologized to me in front of the entire Pack and punished Ashlee for drugging me, I wanted to go out with him. He then went over to the driver's side and began to drive. Finally, we made it to a Mexican Restaurant that was downtown. After he opened the door, he gave the valet driver the key. We walked inside.

"Hello, Alpha Keith, your table is ready," One of the Pack Members, Jill from Red Moon Pack, said, not sparing me a glance. I couldn't help but get upset that she was flirting with my Mate. He was mine and only mine.

Jill took us to a booth and handed us both menus. 

"I will be your waiter today. Would you like a moment to look at the menu?" she said, still not acknowledging my presence.

"Yes, we need a moment," Keith said, and Jill began to walk away. 

"Oh, and Jill," Keith said, causing Jill to turn around and look at him.

"It is unprofessional to ignore someone's Mate when you are on the job. Not only that but a future Luna, my future Luna. I think you should send another waiter that will take their job seriously," Keith said, and Jill's face paled.

"Of course, Alpha Keith," Jill said and quickly walked away.

I looked at Keith, stunned at what he had just done. It made my heart flutter from him taking up for me again. He picked up his menu and began looking through it. 

"You should pick what you want. The new waitress should be here soon," Keith said, not taking his eyes off the menu.

"You didn't have to do that," I said

"Do what," he asked

"Take up for me," I said, and Keith looked at me. 

"That's exactly what I am supposed to do for you, and do you know why," Keith asked softly.

"Why," I asked

"Because you are my Mate. You are mine, and even if you don't believe me right now, I really do love you, and I won't let anyone hurt the ones I love. Especially not you because I don't just love you. I am in love with you," he said 

He looked at me like I was the most important thing in the world. I had never had anyone show me so much love before. No one had ever talked to me like I was important. "Hello, I am Pam, your new waiter. Do the two of you need more time," A woman in her forties asked. 

"Are you ready to order, Love?" Keith asked 

"Yes," I whispered, still shocked by what he had just told me.

We ordered our food and ate in silence. When we were done, Keith took me to the movies and told me to pick what I wanted to watch. I decided to watch a comedy movie, and I could see that Keith was relieved that I didn't pick a romance movie. 

Keith and I ended up sitting in the very back of the movie theater. I could feel his gaze on me the entire time. I was startled when Keith put his hand on my bare leg.
