Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 91
Mark's POV
"How could you; she irresponsible? I trusted you to look after Rose; she is our little sister. And where were you?" Jason said to me, and James
"I know, Jason, and I am sorry. She was sitting over there the whole time, watching us. I turned my head for one minute, and then she was gone," I said
"From what I hear, all of you were partying while she was sitting alone. None of you paid her any attention. I knew I shouldn't have left," Jason growled.
"It's okay, baby. We will find her," Cindy said, placing her hand on his chest to calm him down. I still couldn't believe that Cindy was his mate. I never liked Cindy because of the way she acted. But since she had been with Jason, it seems she has changed.
"I need to talk to the two of you," Jace said, walking toward us. We followed him outside to see what he wanted.
"We need to go to the Thundermoon Pack Territory. Derek has already left because someone sent him a message saying they have Rose," Jace said
I mind-linked Keith, asking him to take everyone home, and he agreed.
"I just mind-linked Keith, and he said he will make sure everyone gets home safely," I said
"Okay, let's go," Jason said
"We will be shifting so that we will get there quicker, and we have to stay where nobody can see us because they told Derek to come alone," Jace said, and we all shifted.
"Jason and Jace's wolves were almost the same size, while my wolf was a little smaller. Jace was all black, while Jason was Black with a little white patch by his eyes. I had the same white patch by my eyes, and so did my father.
I always wondered why my wolf was smaller than all the other future Beta's I know. I guess it's because I was not truly the one that was supposed to become Beta. I never wanted to be Beta, but I knew that since I was the only child, I would have to take on that role. But, of course, I was wrong about that, too, because I had three siblings I never knew about.
We ran for about ten minutes and stopped not that far from Thunder Moon's Border.
We shifted back to our human form and put on our clothes.
"Where are they?" Jason mumbled
"They have to be near," Jace said
"My phone vibrated, and I took it out of my pocket.
"I have been trying to mind-link you. Your mother has somehow escaped. Where are you?" The message from my dad read
"I am with Jace and Jason. Unfortunately, someone kidnapped Rose while we were at the club. Mom might have something to do with it," I messaged back.
"I am on my way," he messaged back, and I put my phone back in my pocket
"My mom has escaped somehow. Dad is on his way," I told Jason
"She must have something to do with Rose's disappearance. She must have used her magic to go unseen when she took her," Jace said
"We need to find them. I don't know what my mom will do," I said
We looked around for a moment, looking for Derek. Finally, we saw him talking to Vivian and my mom. She had a water bottle in her hand with something in it. There was a green liquid in it that glowed. I instantly knew what it was.
"Let Rose go, and then I will," Derek said
"Drink it, or we will kill Rose," My mom replied
He took the bottle and was about to drink it, but before he could drink it, I extended my hand, making the bottle fall to the ground.
They all looked around, feeling our presence.
"Show yourself, now," My mom shouted
I started to walk toward them, but Jason grabbed my shoulder, stopping me.
"You can't go over there. They will hurt you," he said
"You brought someone with you? I told you to come alone. Now Rose will die," My mom said
"No," I yelled and walked over toward them
"You brought my son with you? What are you trying to do, turn him against me?" She growled
"Mom, you need to take us to Rose now," I said
"You should be on my side, son. I am your mother," She said
"You need to take us to her now," Derek snarled
"Please stop this, mom. Give Rose to us, and we will let you go," I said, and Derek growled.
"He would never let me go, son. Why are you siding with those nasty creatures?" My mom asked
"If they are nasty creatures, then so am I. I am a werewolf just like them, mom," I replied
Jace, Jason, and my father came from where they were hiding. I was shocked my dad got here so quickly.
"Give me my daughter back, Chloe," My dad growled
"No. I told him to come alone. I guess now I will have to kill her," She said
"You will not touch my daughter," I heard Lilly say, and then she came out of her hiding spot with her mother. Suddenly, black smoke showed, and a lady with golden eyes appeared. She looked just like Joyce, and I knew it was her twin. She grabbed Chloe and Vivian's hands and pulled them closer.
"Cheryl," Joyce snarled
"Hello, sister," She replied
"Give me back my granddaughter,"
"Oh, sister, you know I will never do that. After I saved my daughter from you, I made sure to take your granddaughter. I feel it is only fair because of the lies you were telling my daughter about me,"
"They are not lies, and you know it," Joyce said
"You will never see your daughter again," She said, looking at Lilly.
"No," Derek snarled and pulled on Vivian's arm, making Cheryl let go of her hand.
"Help," Vivian screamed.
"You can have her. It would help if you were on our side; after all, you are my grandson," Cheryl said
"I am not your grandson," I growled.
"You are, and you know it. Sorry Vivian, but we don't need you anymore," Cheryl said right before they disappeared.
"Where did they go," Derek said, panicked
