Ebony's POV

"Time to wake up, Love," Keith said, and I groaned. I didn't feel like getting up because this was the day that my long-lost father would be coming to meet me. I still couldn't believe that King Jacob was my father. 

"I don't know if I am ready for this," I said as I lay on Keith's chest.

"I know it is a lot, but I am going to be with you the whole time," Keith said 

"Okay, I am going to take a shower," I said and hopped out of bed. Keith walked up behind me while I searched for my clothes and wrapped his arms around me from behind. 

"Mind if I join?" He whispered into my ear

"Of course not," I replied, and he picked me up and took me to the shower. 

"My father just mind-linked me and said that King Jacob is already here waiting for us on my parent's floor," Keith said while I was getting dressed. I decided to wear a light blue sundress.  

"He is early. I thought he wasn't coming until later on in the day," I said

"Me too, but I guess he decided to come early. You ready to meet him?" Keith asked

"I guess," I said. 

"I will be with you every step of the way," he said, holding his hand out for me to take, which I did without hesitation. A lot of guards were standing by the entrance of Edward and Nancy's door. 

We walked inside his parent's room, and when we got there, I heard the sounds of Edward and a man talking. We walked into the family room, where a man and two females were sitting on the couch across from Edward and Nancy. I immediately knew that the man was King Jacob. One of the women looked to be in her forties. She had long black hair and brown eyes. The other looked to be about my age and had the same color hair and eyes as the other.

"There the two of you are," Edward said, smiling at Keith and me. 

King Jacob immediately stood up and walked over to me. 

"Hello, Ebony. You don't know how happy I am to finally meet you," He said and hugged me. I looked over at the woman, who both had smiles.

"Nice to meet you too, King Jacob," I said, causing him to laugh.

"You don't have to call me that. You can call me Jacob," he said 

"And hello, Keith. It is nice to see you again," Jacob said, placing his hand out for Keith to shake.

"Nice to see you as well," Keith said, and they shook hands.

"This is my Mate Alice and our daughter Alissa," he said

"Hello, Ebony; you have no idea how long we have waited to meet you. We were so happy when someone contacted us with your whereabouts," Alice said 

"It is nice to meet all of you, too," I said

"Let's go into the dining room and have breakfast. I am sure that you are hungry from your long trip," Kathleen said

"That sounds good," Jacob said, and we all walked to the dining room. 

"So your mom never told you that I was your father?" Jacob asked

"No, she always told me that my father left us. I thought that you two were mates my whole life," I said, and I could see the look of disgust on Alice's face. I was sure she didn't like my mother or the fact that her Mate had a child with someone else.

"I can't believe that she would lie to you like that. You must have thought I didn't want you," Jacob said 

"Her mother told her you left because she was born a female. All this time, she thought she was the cause of her mother not being with her Mate," Keith said 

"Everything that your mother told you was a lie. I always wanted you and planned on raising you with Alice. You have no idea how worried and upset I was when I came to pick you up from the Pack Hospital, and you weren't there," Jacob said

"He cried for a week straight. It was the only time I have ever seen him cry," Alice said 

"I would like to get to know you and hopefully earn the chance for you to see me as your father,' Jacob said 

"We would like to get to know you," Alice said

"Would you like to get to know us as well?" Jacob asked, and I thought about it. I had never had a father before, and it seemed like he wanted to be mine. Also, it seemed like Alice was interested in getting to know me as well.

"Sure, I would like to get to know you,"
