Ebony's POV

"What do you mean you accept," Keith asked

"You and I both know I can't reject her challenge. It will mess up my reputation, and everyone will see me as weak," I said 

"You are not  fighting her," Keith said 

"I have no choice," I said, and he sighed. I could tell he knew I was right. 

"Don't forget your training, okay?" Keith said

"Okay,' I replied

"Beat her ass, sweetheart," Edward said before stepping out of the ring with Nancy.

"Ashley came into the ring and stood to the other side, watching me intently. I could tell by how she looked at me that she wanted me dead. Letting me know the only way this would end was with one of us dying. There was no way the both of us would make it out of this ring alive.

"Ashley Jones has challenged Ebony Daniels for the position of Luna. Since Ebony has accepted her challenge, this will be a fight either until one of them concedes. No one is allowed to jump into this fight. So let the fighting begin," Keith said and looked at me before stepping out of the rink. 

I watched Ashley as she began to come toward me. All she had was hatred in her eyes as she looked at me. "You are not fit to be Luna," she said and tried to attack me, but I moved out of her way, causing her to fall to the ground. She quickly stood up and tried to hit me, but I blocked her punch and hit her in the face. 

"Is that all you got? No wonder Keith thinks you are weak. You didn't hear all the things Sandy told me he said about you," She said. Her words were beginning to get to me, and I was caught off guard when she kicked me in the stomach. She quickly got on top of me and hit me in the face. "You are nothing. I am doing you a favor because if I didn't, you would become a prostitute just like your mother," she whispered and grabbed a knife from her pocket. 

Before she could take the knife out of her pocket, I lifted my hands, feeling the energy that needed to escape my hands,  Causing her to fly into the net of the ring. Everyone gasped as I got up and walked over to Ashley, who was still on the ground. 

"Get up, you bitch," I said in a tone I had never used. It was full of authority and power, causing her to obey me. She stood and looked at me with a worried expression on her face. "The only one that is worthless here is you. Now get out of my sight," I said, and she quickly obeyed. 

Keith walked back into the ring and hugged me tightly. "You were amazing, My Love," he whispered in my ear. "Does anyone else want to challenge my Luna?" Keith growled, and everyone was quiet. "Good, and Edward and Nancy walked back into the ring as well. 

Nancy placed the crown on my head, and I drank from the cup. Then Keith walked over to me and used a knife to cut his hand. He placed it in my mouth, and I held his arm while drinking some of his blood. After drinking his blood, I began hearing members of the pack congratulating me in my mind. I could feel their acceptance, and it made me happy. Sadly the link to the Blood Moon Pack was no longer there now that I was a member of the Silvermoon Pack. 

"May the Alpha and Luna live a long and healthy life," Edward said

"I love you, Ebony, My Luna," Keith said as he hugged me close.

"I love you too, My Alpha," 

King Jacob's POV

Keith and I walked into the cell where Renee was. I hadn't seen her since the night she took Ebony away from me at the palace. 

"Why are you here? Are you here to gloat," she asked.

"How dare you ask me that. You took my daughter from me only to treat her horribly. Why?" I asked, causing her to laugh.

"That wasn't my intention. When your Mate told me to leave, or she would kill my daughter and me, I thought I was doing the right thing. But then Ebony grew up to look like you. You have no idea how hard it is to see the eyes of the man that you thought loved you but didn't every day," she said, shocking me.

"That didn't give you the right to mistreat Ebony. I swear if you weren't her mother, and I didn't think it would hurt her, I would kill you," Keith growled.

"Wait, what are you talking about? Alice told you to leave, or she would kill you?" I asked

"She came to my room and told me you were taking Ebony away from me, but she didn't want her there and was going to kill her and me if I stayed. She even helped me escape," Renee said

"Your lying," I growled

"No, I am not," She said

"Tell me the truth," I growled, using my alpha aura so she couldn't lie.

"I am," She said, looking me deep in my eyes. "The Queen isn't who you think she is," She said, and at that moment, I knew she was telling the truth. It became clear to me that I had no idea who my Mate was
