Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 121
Derek's POV
"He will never take my mate," I growled
"He is Chloe's father and old. That is so gross," Jason said
"He and nobody else will take what's mine,"
"Hey, I am just telling you what I heard. I thought you would like to know that some old guy is saying that he wants to make your mate his," Lance said
"Why would you risk your life to tell me this?" I asked
He obviously wanted something.
"I thought you would never ask. I was wondering if I could crash here for a while. Not in a cell but on your Territory. Some of the Rogues don't like me much,"
"I wonder why," Jason said, and I rolled my eyes
"Why would I let you stay here?"
"Because I will tell you everything else that I know,"
"This is ridiculous. How do we even know that he even knows anything else?" Jason asked
"You'd be surprised what you learn from being a Rogue. For instance, I know that your old Beta, Jace, helped his mom escape your Pack after attempting to kidnap your Luna. I also know that his mother is working with Hanson, and I could bet that he is too," Lance said
Jason and I were quiet for a moment.
"What do you think?" I mind-linked Jason
"I think he is full of shit. He is probably working with Hanson and only knows about Jace because he is a part of it as well," Jason mind-linked back.
"I agree," I Mind-linked, then ended the link.
"You will be staying here and in this cell. I hope you enjoy your stay," I said, and Jason and I walked out.
"What are you going to do with him?" Jason asked
"I will deal with him later. I have a wedding I need to prepare for," I said.
"Yeah, Rose would kill you if the groom didn't show up," Jason laughed
"Don't tell her about any of this. The doctor said that I need to keep her stress free," I said as we walked to get ready for Rose and my wedding.
Rose's POV
"You look so beautiful. I can't believe you are getting married," My mom cried.
I "Mom, please stop crying before you make me cry," I replied
"Aunt Lil, she is fully mated; this is nothing compared to that. I swear the two of you didn't cry this much at the mating and marking ceremony," Kate said
I knew Kate's words were true, but this was a big deal to me. When I was younger, I always thought of what my wedding would be like. I wanted a wedding like in the Disney movies. I have always wanted a dress like the one Cinderella wore in the film, which is exactly what I got. The only difference is that I chose my dress to be white and not blue. So to me, my wedding day was one of the best days of my life.
"It's time to start the wedding," Aunt Lisa said as she walked in with my father and Jason.
"You are so beautiful," My dad said as he hugged me
"Thank you," I replied, hugging him back
"Okay, everyone, let's get this show on the road," Aunt Lisa said, and everyone besides who was a part of the wedding went to their seats.
Kate and Kayla were my bride's mates. Ebony couldn't make it because she and Keith had to go out of town for some Pack business, and Lacy was in no shape to even come to the wedding. So I decided just to have two bride's mates.
"You ready," Jason said as he held his hand out for me to hold.
I had decided to have Jason walk me down the aisle. He had always been the father figure in my life, and I always knew that he would be the one to walk me down the aisle when I got married. So I told my dad that I would have Jason walk me down, and he said he understood. I was happy that he wasn't upset about it, even though I could tell he wished I had asked him.
Walking down the aisle, I was more nervous. I knew that Derek was already mine and that I was already his, but it didn't change my anxiety. When I reached alter, and Jason placed my hand into Derek's, I felt the sparks I felt every time we touched and calmed me down. Derek smiled at me with that smile I loved seeing with his blue eyes gazing into mine.
The wedding officiant, a human Mate to one of the Pack Members, began the wedding. When Derek said his vows, I cried. Not only was he saying them, but I could feel his emotions through our mate bond. I knew that he meant every word that he said.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife; you may now kiss your bride," he said, and Derek kissed me, causing the whole Pack to cheer.
"Now I am tied to you and every way possible," Derek said, and I smiled happily.
