Keith's POV

I watched as Ebony walked out of Nathan's office. I knew she needed a moment after watching that video. I could feel how hurt she was through our bond at what I had done to her that day. I poured water on her a little over a year ago and called her names. I don't even know why I treated her like that. I wish I could go back and change the past, but I know that is impossible.

I wanted to follow her and apologize to Ebony for everything I did to her in the past, but I knew she needed a moment to herself. So, instead, I looked over at Jonathan and Kerry, who were talking amongst themselves.

"Why did you come here and warn us about King Jacob and Queen Alice? How did you know the Queen was going to post a video today?" I asked

"One of the warriors from Blue Moon told me. We were good friends, and he wanted to leave their Pack, but he has a family and didn't; want to become a Rogue," Jonathan said.

"And you are sure you have seen King Jacob with her? He wasn't on the video," I asked.

"I am positive I saw him yesterday with the Queen and their daughter. I also have seen them together alone without their daughter at the same house. I will take you to it if you like," Jonathan said.

I thought about it for a moment and decided I should let them show me where Alice was hiding. I also wanted to know if Jacob was indeed still seeing the Queen. I had been wondering how he was able to stay away from her all this time. They were Fated Mates who had Marked each other long ago. Their bond should have been too strong to be able to stay away from each other all this time. So, it seemed the Rogues might be telling the truth.

"Sure, that would be great. We should leave in the morning," I replied. Before I left, I needed to speak to Ebony and make sure she was okay. I walked out of the office to look for her.

"Keith, hold up," Ethan said as he ran over to me. I stopped to see what he wanted. "Nathan and I are going to go with you when you go with the Rogues. We are also going to let them spend the night at the Packhouse tonight."

"Thanks for that. I know you and Nathan don't like Rogues that much," I replied

"No, we don't, but if they know where Queen Alice has been staying, it's worth it. Nathan and I are one hundred percent on your and Ebony's side."

Ebony's POV

I decided to take a walk after watching the videoVideo the Queen posted. I needed some air and wished I could shift into my wolf, but I knew it would be too risky. There were too many werewolves, and I didn't know who might want to hurt me for being a White Wolf. I wanted to tell who I trusted about my wolf, but I wasn't stupid. I knew there were a lot of werewolves that would love to use my powers for their own gain. That is why I needed to keep practicing and getting stronger.

"Ebony, wait up," I heard Raven say. I turned to see her running my way. "How are you feeling?" Raven asked. I knew by her facial expression she must have seen the video.

"I don't know. I know I shouldn't let it bother me because I forgave Keith for how he treated me in the past, but it still hurts, you know?" I said

"I understand, and you have every right to feel sad. Keith was wrong for how he was with you, and even though you forgave him, seeing it must have hurt you badly. That video was messed up, and Keith was really cruel to you. I swear I wanted to kick his ass for how he talked to you on that video. He is lucky you forgave him because I don't know if everyone would have been able to let all of that go," Raven replied.

Suddenly we heard someone coming up behind us and turned around to see Jonathan, Kerry, and their pups standing there.

"Hello, Princess. We wanted to say goodbye," Jonathan said

"You aren't staying longer?' I asked, a little disappointed. I thought they had questions they wanted me to answer about what I would do once I became Queen, and I was ready to answer them.

"Yes, unfortunately, it seems like the Alphas of this Pack and your Mate don't want us to stay too long. We were just about to head out," Jonathan said

"I am sure they wouldn't mind if you stayed for a little longer. Let the kids rest and get something good to eat. I can talk to them for you if you would like," I replied

"I am afraid that would be a bad idea. The Twin Alphas threatened us and said they would hurt our children and us if we didn't leave. I don't want anything to happen to any of them. So, it is best that we be on our way," Jonathan said, causing me to frown. I heard Ethan and Nathan didn't like Rogues, but I thought they were okay with them being here. I guess they are like everyone says.

"Well, I am sorry to see you go," I replied.

"I am going to head inside," Raven said.

"Alright, I am going to come inside in a moment," I replied, and Raven left.

"We did want to tell you we are sorry that Alpha Keith doesn't trust us enough to show you and him where the Queen and Jacob have been seeing each other. I know they are supposed to be meeting up tonight. I believe it would have been good for you to see them together for yourself to see the King is still seeing her," Jonathan said

"Yeah," I replied

"Well, we will be on our way," Jonathan said, and they turned around to leave.

"Wait," I replied, and they looked at me. I thought about it and knew it would be good to see where Alice was hiding. I also wanted to know if Jacob was really seeing her. I was hoping he wasn't, but I wanted to know. I didn't know if this was a good idea, but I didn't care at the moment.

"How about you show me where they're hiding."
