Ebony's POV

"What do you mean they will be here tomorrow? YOu told us they wouldn't be here until next week," One of the Warriors asked.

Once Alissa told us that Alice had learned that we had gathered Packs to help us in the fight, she decided to surprise us and show up a day. We called everyone down for a meeting.

"That is what we thought, but we have learned that there are traitors in my Pack. Some of the Guards have been telling Alice our every move. That is how she knew we were preparing her to come. We need to make sure we are ready. Lance, Ethan, Nathan, Derek, and I are going to tell everyone where they need to be," Keith said

"We are not ready. Some of our werewolves are not as trained as some of us."

"Everyone here has done an amazing job. We have one more day to train, and we plan on giving the ones that need some more training the whole day. No one is making you stay if you don't feel comfortable fighting. Everyone here gets to make their own decision on if they want to fight or not. We will not make you," I said. Everyone looked at me and was silent.

"I will fight by your side."

"Do will I."

"Me too." 

"It will be an honor."

 I looked over at the man that seemed unsure, and he walked up to me, causing Keith to get in front of me protectively. He smiled at Keith at his protectiveness.

"I would never hurt your Mate, Alpha Keith. I just wanted to let her know that I plan on fighting by her side. I believe in you and Luna Ebony and know that both of you will make great Rulers and bring the change we have needed for years."

We worked the whole day and night, trying to get everyone ready for what was to come. Keith and all the other Alphas made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be for the fight. After evaluating everyone fighting skills, we made sure that the ones that were not the best would watch the woman, children, and elderly in the saferoom. 

Alissa was being watched by guards the whole time. Keith didn't trust her not to turn on us. He believed she might go back and tell Alice what she has learned, so we made sure she was nowhere in sight as we got everyone situated.

"Alpha Keith, you haven't told us our position for tomorrow's fight. We thought we would stay in our normal position by the border," Some of the Guards said. 

"We have already chosen who we want there," Keith said 

"So then, where will we be?"

"Come, let me show you," Keith said, taking them to the room where Alissa was staying. "I want all three of you to watch the Princess," Keith said

"We didn't know the Princess was here. How did she get here? Did you take her as bait or something?"

"Yep, that is exactly what we did. We are using Princess Alissa to get to her parents. I need you to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't get away. Can you guys do that?" Keith asked

"Of course, we can, Alpha Keith. We won't let you down," 

"I am sure you won't," Keith replied.

I was sitting outside on our balcony, looking out at the moon. It had been a long couple of weeks, knowing a war would be coming soon. I knew Alice planned on having me killed but had no idea who she planned to kill until Alissa told me. 

Jacob, my father, was the one she planned on having to kill me. I wondered if he would be able to kill his own daughter. I was sure he would. I mean, it wasn't hard for him to visit her after everything she had done to me. Abby had told me that in one of her visions, she saw that we had lost and I had died. She never knew who my killer was, but now I know. Jacob had killed me in one of those futures, and I was sure he could do it again. He was the only one in the world strong enough to kill me, the only other White Wolf in the world. The fucked up part of all of this was I was not the only one that would die if my father killed me. All of the werewolf community would be destroyed.  

"What are you thinking about, My Love?" Keith asked

"Everything. I am thinking about all of the ways this could go tomorrow. Especially about what happens if I die," I said 

"Shh, you are not going to die. We all agreed that you are the most important, and we will all protect you. Everyone knows how important it is that you survive tomorrow. They have dedicated their lives to protecting their future Queen. I wish you would go to the safe room with everyone else," Keith said. 

"You know I can't stay in the saferoom. Don't forget what Abby said. I am the one that wins the war. I am the only one that can win this war. I just wish I knew how I do that," I said

"Hey, we will win because you have a team of werewolves with your back. We all believe you," Keith said. I could feel through the mate bond that he meant everything he had said to me. It made me feel a little better.

"Thank you, Keith. I love you," I said 

"I love you too, My Love. Now come here," Keith said, pulling me into his arms. He began ripping my clothes off my body, causing me to gasp.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"I need you, My Love," Keith said and kissed me passionately, Showing him how I felt about him with the kiss, just as he showed me. I could feel his love for me through the one long kiss. He picked me up, and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he took me to our bed.

We made love all night long. First slow, where he would caress my hair and kiss me passionately as he thrust inside of me. Then it turned rough and hard, showing me how much I belonged to him as he pounded into me from behind. I loved every moment of it.

Once, we finally went to sleep. He wrapped his arms and legs around me protectively, making sure nothing could hurt me. I fell asleep hearing him telling me how much he loved me and how nothing and no one would ever take me away from him.
