Rose's POV

"I don't think Derek would let me go," I said

"Why not? These are your last two days of being single. You will soon be a fully mated woman. We need to have some fun," Kate said

"I agree with Kate. You deserve to have some fun. Once you are fully mated, your bond strengthens, and you won't want to spend a moment apart. We should go have some fun," Kayla said

"They are right, Rose. It's hard for Keith and me to be apart when I go to school. Being fully mated is the best feeling in the world, but you should have fun with your friends before completing the mating process. You won't spend a lot of time together with just your friends after that. Especially after you and Derek first become mated," Ebony said

"Hey, Love," Keith said as he approached our table. He comes to meet with Ebony at lunch almost every day. She is right about not wanting to spend time away from your mate once you are fully mated. 

"What were you guys talking about?" He asked before they began kissing.

"We want to take Rose to a club tomorrow since Derek and she is going to be fully mated Saturday," Ebony said 

"I don't think that is going to happen," Keith said

"And why not?" Kate asked

"Because he isn't going to want his mate at a club. Plus, a lot of stuff has been going on right now. It isn't safe for you to go to the club alone," he said

"Why don't you come with us," Kate asked, and Keith looked at her

"Why would I go with you to a club when I have my mate right here?" He asked and kissed Ebony on her cheek.

"Because you can protect us, and we want Ebony to come too. We know she won't go unless you come with us," Kate said

"I go places with you without Keith," Ebony said defensively

"Hardly, you might get lunch with us and spend a couple of hours with us, but we don't spend time together like we used to," Kate said

"Kate, you know I am fully mated," Ebony said

"Exactly, everyone that is fully mated changes. That is why I want to take Rose out. We can call it a bachelorette party," Kate said

"You want me to go to a bachelorette party?" Keith asked

"No, we want Ebony to go with us. Please, Keith," Kate asked

Keith looked at Ebony

"Do you want to go, Love?" He asked

"Kind of, It would be fun," Ebony said, and Keith sighed

"Fine, I will go, but Mark is coming with me," He said, and Kate squealed

"Thank You. Now Derek can't say no," Kate said

Three Hours Later

"No," Derek said

"why not? Keith and Mark said they would come with us," Kate said

 When we got home from school, Kate told Derek about taking me to a club tomorrow night. To say Derek didn't like the idea would be an understatement. He hated the idea, and I could tell he didn't want me to go.

"You know a lot is going on right now, Kate. It isn't safe for her to be going off to some club," Derek said

"She will be fine, Derek. Keith and Mark said they would tag along, and you know they won't let anything happen to her," Kate said

"I said no," Derek said, and Kate rolled her eyes.

"Fine, but I think Rose deserves to have some fun. You and Rose will be fully mated in two days. Don't you think she deserves to have some fun?" Kate said 

Derek turned and looked at me. I hadn't said anything the entire time they had been arguing.

"Do you want to go, Flower?" He asked

"Kind of; I mean, it would be fun to spend time with the girls. Everyone keeps saying we won't want to be separated after we are fully mated. This might be the last time I want to go somewhere with the girls only," I said, and he sighed.

"Fine, you can go," He said, and Kate squealed.

"Thank you, brother. We are going to have so much fun," She said

"But I will talk to Keith and Mark to ensure they are okay with going. I will also have three other guards go with you two," He said

"I hope they aren't the ones you had to go with us to the mall. They didn't do their job right," Kate said 

"Goddess, no. They were punished and fired after they let you two go off like that," He said

"What did you do to them?" I asked

"Nothing too awful, Rose. They are lucky they are still breathing right now," Derek said

"I will call Kayla and Ebony and tell them the good news. I will see you in a few hours, Rose," Kate said

"Alright, bye," I said, and she left the room.

Derek and I sat on the couch. He pulled me onto his lap and started kissing me passionately. He then began kissing my neck, causing me to moan, then suddenly stopped causing me to whimper.

"I want you to behave while you are at the club. Don't run away from the guards, Keith, or your brother," He whispered in my ear.

"I promise I won't run off. What happened with Jacob," I asked. They had a trial and sentence this morning. I wanted to stay for it, but Derek and my mom convinced me to go to school. They had two warriors go with me and watch me the whole time since Derek couldn't come with me today.

"He was banished," He said

"How did Jace and his mom take it?" I asked

"Jace already knew I was going to banish him and agreed it was the best choice. Veronica didn't take it well and decided to go with Jacob," He said

"All my, Jace must feel hurt that his mom left," I said

"He is. He tried to convince her to stay, but she said she couldn't live without him," Derek said, and I felt terrible. I couldn't help but think all this was my fault. If I had never shown up, nobody would have gotten banished.

"Flower, I know what you are thinking, and you are wrong. None of this is your fault," Derek said

"I don't know. It feels like it is," I said

"You didn't make any of them do the things they did. They are at fault for their own actions. Please quit thinking about them. You should be happy that soon we will be fully mated with twins," He said and kissed the top of my head.

I smiled and knew he was right. I didn't make them do anything. They did it on their own.

"You are right," I said, smiling.
