Keith's POV

"Is everyone where they are supposed to be," I asked as I walked over to Mark

"Yes, everyone has taken their position," Mark replied

"Good. Whenever Alice shows up, we will be ready," I said

"Alpha Keith, Alissa is missing, and so are the three Guards that were supposed to be watching her," one of the warriors said as they ran over to me.

"Hey, let me go. The Princess needed to use the restroom, and the one in her room wasn't working properly. So we were only trying to find her a better one." I look up to see Derek, Nathan, and Ethan all dragging one of the Guards that were supposed to be watching Alissa over toward where I was standing. Ebony and Alissa were following behind them. 

"Really, because the bathroom looked fine to me," Ebony said

'I swear on the Moon Goddess herself, that is what happened. We were going to bring the Princess back, and she ran. That is why you found us close to the border."

"Is that what happened, Alissa?" Ebony asked, looking at Alissa.

"No, I told you they were working with my mother. They were trying to help me escape and then tell my mom all the information they have on what you are doing here," Alissa said. The three Guards looked at her in shock.

"She is lying," one of them said 

"No, she isn't. That is why I assigned the three of you to watch her. I wanted to see if what she told us about you was true, and it was. All three of you are traders. Guards take them to a cell," I said, and Mark and two other Guards took them from Derek, Nathan, and Ethan and dragged them to a cell.

"I promise she is lying," one of them yelled as they were being dragged away. 

"Well, they are out of the way," Derek said

"Yeah, any idea when the Queen should be arriving?" Ethan asked

"I have no idea," I said 

Then suddenly, I heard the sound of the warning syringe, letting me know that someone was coming. We had already put all the women, children, and elderly in the safe room, so they were all safe. I was happy that Jacob was never shown where the saferoom was located.

Suddenly, the syringe began to go off, letting me know someone had just crossed the border. 

"They're here," Lance said, and we all looked ahead.

"Take Alissa to the saferoom," Ebony said 

"No, I want to help," Alissa said

"We don't have time for this. If she wants to stay, let her," Derek said. 

"NO, she will get hurt," Ebony replied

"My mom won't hurt me," Alissa said. I could feel through Ebony's emotions. She didn't believe that, but she sighed and left her alone.

As I looked ahead, I could see Vampires, Witches, and Werewolves running our way. But there was one that I couldn't take my eyes off of. A giant White Wolf was running ahead of them all. He was the biggest wolf I had ever seen, and I could feel the strength and power radiating off of him. I knew that had to be King Jacob. I looked at Ebony to see her eyes staring at him as he ran toward us. I instantly wrapped my arms around her protectively. I wasn't going to let Jacob or anyone else hurt my Mate.

Alice's POV (The night before)

"Where the fuck is she?" I growled. I couldn't believe Alissa wasn't in her room. I told her to get ready to make this video letting the Werewolf Community know why she should be Queen, and she is nowhere to be found. I swear if I didn't need her to become Queen, I would have gotten rid of her by now. She was always getting in the way of my happiness and couldn't do anything right. It was a shock to me that she was my biological daughter. I would never have believed it if I hadn't given birth to her.

"Where is who?" Jacob asked

"Alissa. She is missing," I replied

"YOu know how she is. She probably went to one of her friend's houses. You know she didn't want to make that video for you," Jacob said

"I don't know," I replied and went to her room to look around. When I got inside, I saw that she had taken some of her clothing and belongings. One of her suitcases was also missing. "She left," I said

"Where do you think she went?" Jacob asked. I thought about it for a moment, and then realization hit me. 

"She must have gone to Silvermoon Pack," I growled.

"Why would she do that?" Jacob asked

"Because she overheard me speaking with one of their guards that has been giving me information on what Keith and Ebony have been doing," I said 

"And what is that?" Jacob asked. I knew it was time for me to talk him into killing Ebony.

"We need to talk," I said, and we went to our room. I sat on the bed, and he sat next to me.

"Ebony wants to ruin everything you have built because she is mad at you. She plans to destroy all the hard work you have done throughout the years for the werewolves by changing all the laws you made. We can't let her do that," I said, and he looked at me for a moment before speaking.

"You have something planned, don't you? And it's not just making Alissa Queen instead of her," Jacob said

"Yes, I have way more planned, but it will only happen if you help me. Ebony has messed up this entire family. Alissa has run away from us because of her. We need to get rid of her. So I plan on going to the Silvermoon Pack tomorrow with Vampires, witches, and all my followers. Some of the Royal Council will also be going there with me so we can take her down," I said\

"You mean, you want to kill her?" Jacob asked

"It is the only way," I said, placing my hand on his shoulder. "And I need you to kill her," I finished.

"What? Do you know what you are asking me, Alice? You are asking me to kill my own daughter," Jacob said

"I know it is a lot to ask, and I wouldn't ask you if someone else could do it. But we both know you are the only one. Please, Jacob, do this for your family. Do this for your true family," I said, and he sighed before looking into my eyes.

"I will do it for you."
