Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 81

Rose's POV

"I can't believe that bitch would threaten to kill you," Derek growled

"Calm down, Derek," I said

"How can you tell me to calm down after everything you told me? Not only is Vivian trying to hurt you, but she has asked Chloe to help. To top it all off, you and Kate followed them into the garage. What if it was a trap, Rose? I would die without you," He said.

I knew he was angry. I stood up and went over to him. I sat on his lap, straddling him. He placed his face into my hair. I knew he was smelling my hair, letting my scent calm him,"

"I am sorry for following her, but if I didn't, we wouldn't know any of this," I said

"I am punishing those guards. I specifically told them not to leave you alone," He said

"I tricked them, Derek. Please don't punish them," I pleaded

"They deserve to get punished, Rose. They are supposed to keep you safe and could have failed if Chloe and Vivian saw you. I knew I should have kicked her out. She is getting banished now," He said, and I sat quietly on his lap. He helps me tightly, inhaling my scent.

After ten minutes, the door opened. Uncle Michael, Aunt Lisa, my mom, my dad, Kate, and all three of my brothers walked into Uncle Michael's office.

"I already told the guards to put Vivian in a cell," Uncle Michael said, and I knew that Derek must have mind-linked him and told him everything.

Just then, the door was busted open. I looked up and saw Landon staring daggers at Derek.

"How could you do that to my mate?" Landon asked and ran over to where Derek and I were sitting. Derek stood up quickly and moved me behind him. 

"I didn't touch her, Landon. She is lying," Derek said

"Why would she lie to me? She is my mate, not yours," Lanson growled and then jumped at Derek.

Derek quickly threw him down on the floor. He was on top of him, holding him down. The guards tried to intervene, but Uncle Michael told them to leave.

"Calm down, Landon. I didn't do anything to Vivian. She is trying to accuse me," Derek said 

Landon finally calmed down, and Derek got off of him. 

"Vivian is trying to play us all, Landon. I don't know why probably because I was going to banish her," Derek said

"You have always been a player, Derek, but I never thought you would stoop so low. Stay away from Vivian," Landon growled.

"That won't be a problem because she is no longer welcome here in this Pack," Derek said

"You can't be serious," Landon said

"I am," 

"If she goes, then I go," 

"If that is what you want to do, then go ahead. But know that she is playing you," Derek said

"He isn't lying, Landon. Rose and I heard her talking about killing Rose and Derek. She is upset that Derek chose Rose. She said he betrayed her," Kate said

"That is a lie. She is my mate, not yours," Landon growled

"I know that. You don't need to tell me," Derek said

"Enough," Uncle Michael said, and everyone became silent. Uncle Michael looked at Landon.

"You need to calm down, Landon. You and Derek have been friends forever. Deep down, you know he is not lying. You are not locked up with Vivian right now because I know she is the cause of this. Go and think before you make any decisions," Uncle Michael said 

Landon looked at Derek, then at Uncle Michael.

"Fine, but I know she isn't lying to me. You have always been a womanizer," Landon said and walked out.

"That was crazy," Kate said 

"I know. Vivian is out of control," Aunt Lisa said

"She is gone. I want her gone before the ceremonies this weekend," Derek said

"I agree, son. We will send her away tonight," Uncle Michael said

"Do you really think Landon is going to leave with her?"Kate asked

"I don't know," Uncle Michael said

"I don't care. All I know is that bitch is gone," Derek snarled

He placed his hands on me and pulled me close to him, inhaling my scent again. 

"Nobody is going to hurt you, Flower," He said, and I knew he was serious

Landon's POV

"Are you okay," I said to Vivian through the cell.

"No, I can't believe Derek tried to rape me," She cried

"He is saying that you are lying to hurt him and Rose," I said

"I would never do that, Landon. You know how he is with women. He was mad I told him no," She said, causing me to get angry

"Don't worry, baby, everything is going to be okay," I said 

"You have to go now. We have to get her ready for sentencing," One of the guards said

I was so upset. How could Derek do this to her? He is supposed to be my best friend.

I walked out with only one thought: to make Derek pay.

When I walked outside, I could sense someone behind me. So I turned around and saw Chloe behind me.

"What do you want," I asked.

"I see that you may need my help. I heard that Derek tried to hurt your mate," She said

"Yeah, and what is it to you," I asked, annoyed.

"I am here to help you get your revenge," She smiled evilly

I looked at her, wondering if I should trust her

"Come, we have a lot to discuss," She said, and I followed after her.

If she were willing to help me, I would figure out how.
