Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 30

Derek's POV

"What the fuck did you do to my daughter?" Max said 

He was pissed and looked like he wanted to attack me. 

"Are you ok Derek, I can't believe she acted like that?" Vivian asked as she came up to me

She placed her hand on my arm tenderly and I immediately yanked my arm out of her reach.

"Why are you pulling away from me now? You didn't pull away earlier," She said

"You put your hand on me as soon as Rose came over. I didn't have enough time to pull away" I said. 

Vivian came up to me and asked if she could talk to me once I arrived at the training field. She apologized for trying to cause problems between me and Rose. 

Max and Aunt Lil were looking at us now. Aunt Lil looked confused and Max looked even more pissed than before.

"Oh hell no! Are you cheating on my daughter? She is your mate" He said 

I was so worried about Rose that I didn't notice when Max lifted his hand and punched me in my face, causing me to fall to the ground again.

I groaned as I felt the pain from his powerful punch. I could feel warm, liquid blood falling from my nose and the pain. He had broken my nose. It would take about thirty minutes for it to heal.

"Calm down Max," Aunt Lil said and put her hand on his arm.

He looked over at her and let out a deep breath. 

"You can't be taking his side, Lil! He is messing around on our daughter" He said softly to her

I couldn't believe she had been able to calm his wolf. That was something I had only seen mates do.

"How is that even possible," I thought to myself 

 I put that thought aside. I had bigger things to worry about. I had to explain to Max and Aunt Lil what happened.

"Oh, my Goddess! How dare you hit Derek. Are you ok baby?" Vivian asked

"Wait, baby! She is really tripping" I thought to myself

"Vivian me and you are not together. We will never be together. You need to get out of the training field now!" I told her in my Alpha tone

"Yes Alpha," she said and started to walk away.

Before she could leave I had stopped her

"Vivian," I said and she turned around

"I know you intentionally caused this problem between me and rose. You better hope she believes me when I tell her what really happened. You don't know what will happen if she doesn't believe me" I told her and she walked away.

"EVERYONE LEAVE NOW!" I said in my Alpha voice

All the Pack warriors left quickly. I turned to Max and Aunt Lil

"I swear this is a misunderstanding. Vivian came up to me saying she wanted to apologize for trying to cause problems with me and Rose. Then out of nowhere she put her hand on my chest and the other on my cheek. I was about to move away from her. Rose came and got the wrong idea of the situation." I told them

"I believe him, Max. Vivian has been trying to separate them since she came back here." Aunt Lil said

"You need to fix this Derek. She was really upset and this is the second time she has called upon her powers accidentally because of that girl. I don't like my daughter feeling so upset and sad by the one person that is supposed to make her feel loved and cherished." 

"I know Aunt Lil! I have been messing up since last night when I picked her up at that party at Moon Lake." 

I was upset that she didn't tell me she was going to a party. I was going to surprise her with a romantic dinner but when I returned home she was gone. I called all the pack warriors and told them to find her. One of the female warriors found her at the party at Moon Lake and instantly mind-linked.

I was already mad about her and my sister being at that party. They consist of drugs and alcohol. Males go there to find females to fuck willingly or unwillingly. They even put pills in the female's drinks to get them to loosen up.

When I saw those two males by my mate I knew they were trouble. I made sure that one of my warriors picked them up for questioning.

Turns out they put a pill in Kayla, Kate, and Rose's drinks called wolfnog. It is a very strong medication that makes she-wolves confused and unable to defend themselves. They could become unconscious. It's like a Date Rape Drug that humans use on others. That's why when I showed up Kate and Kayla were out of it. What surprised me is that Rose seemed normal. The drink didn't affect her like it normally would a werewolf or human. I know she's a witch but they also feel the effects of the drug. 

I should have talked to her last night instead of ignoring her. I made her feel rejected this morning in the shower, and she comes out here and find Vivian with me. I need to talk to her and explain everything

"She went to that party even after I told her not to," Aunt Lil said. She looked upset

It was then that I realized Aunt Lil didn't know that Rose went to the party. She had told her not to go she snuck out. I just snitched on my mate to her mother. Now Rose had another reason to be mad at me.

"I have to go find her. Please don't say anything to her about the party until I speak to her. She is already upset with me.

I ran off to look for Rose. I didn't know how I was going to convince her that this was a misunderstanding. One thing I knew was that there have been too many misunderstandings with Vivian. She needed to be taught a lesson and she soon would.

Vivian's POV

It worked! I knew that Rose went to that party yesterday. What she didn't know was that I was there watching her. I made those pack members give her the wolfnog last night. I gave it two that bitch Kate and their friend Kayla too. I don't like Kate because that bitch has always been against me and Derek being together. I gave it to Kayla because she is friends with the two of them.

The drug worked on Kate and Kayla but not on Rose. I wanted them to fuck her good so that Derek would hate her. She wouldn't be as precious to him if he wasn't the only one that had her. One problem was the drug did not work. The other was her nosy little brother and his friend that was watching them like a hawk.

Once Derek showed up I knew my plan had failed. Until I saw the expression on his face. He was upset at her, ignoring her even. He didn't know she came to the party. That gave me an idea.

I knew Derek was stubborn and would be mad at her the whole night. He would most likely give her the silent treatment. I knew that he had a meeting set up with the pack fighters in the morning and decided to go there. 

He looked so sexy when I saw him that I wanted to tear his clothes off right then. I didn't care who saw us. I just wanted him to fuck me senseless. 

"Hey, Derek! Can we talk for a minute" I asked him with an innocent smile

"I'm not in the mood right now Vivian," He said.

I could tell he was upset from his tone.

"It will just take a minute, please it's important"

"What is it?" He said looking up at me

"I wanted to say I am sorry for trying to break you and Rose apart. I shouldn't have done that" I told him

"You don't need to fake apologize to me. I know you don't mean it. I know you and know that you are up to something but you will never come between me and Rose. I love her and only want to be with her for the rest of my life" He said looking deep into my eyes. I knew he was telling me the truth.

I looked over and saw Rose walking towards us. I took that moment to put my hand one of my hands on his chest and the other on his cheek. I rubbed his cheek passionately. Rose was furious and lost control of herself.

Derek told me to leave and then threatened me. He's just confused right now. Once I get him in my bed again he will remember who his mate really is.

Derek might be mad at me now but he will soon be mine.
