Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 65
Rose POV
"I think we have enough tests," I said to Derek.
He has picked up about ten pregnancy tests.
"You can never have too many tests," He said while reading the back of a pregnancy test and placing it in the cart.
I just shook my head and let him do whatever. He seemed nervous and happy that I might be pregnant. I knew there was a big possibility that I was pregnant because of all the times we had had sex and never used protection. I didn't know how I felt about it, though.
I was only seventeen and not even done with high school yet. Derek and I hadn't known each other long, and I bought a pregnancy test to see if I was pregnant with his baby. I didn't even think of how my mom would react if she found out I was pregnant or Jason.
" I think this is enough," Derek said after placing one more test in the cart.
I followed him as he went to the checkout. I couldn't help the blush that crept on my cheeks as the cashier took all the pregnancy tests and scanned them. Derek put his arms over my waist and pulled me close to him as we waited for the cashier to ring up the tests.
"That will be 123.10," The cashier said
Derek paid the bill and grabbed our bags
"Thank you," the cashier said with a smile, and we walked out
"I'm shocked she was so friendly. Most would look at us funny for buying pregnancy tests," I said as Derek opened the passenger door for me.
"She is a Pack Member," Derek said, and I looked at him, shocked. He went over to the driver's side and got into the car.
"Will she tell anyone," I asked?
"No, she knows that if you are pregnant, we would want to tell the pack."
"What do you think everyone would say?" I asked worried
Derek looked at me for a moment before replying
"Most would be happy that a future Alpha would be coming soon," He said
"Would you be happy?" I asked
"Yes, I would. Most werewolves my age already have families with their mates. If you are pregnant, I would be thrilled," He said with a smile.
"What about you? How would you feel?" He asked me
"I don't know. I am only seventeen and still am in high school. We aren't exactly prepared to start a family." I said honestly
"There is something I want to show you," Derek said and started driving.
Derek drove passed the Packhouse for about twenty more minutes. Finally, he parked in front of a two-story house with a wooden fence around it. It was beautiful.
He stepped out of the car and came over to my side, and opened the door for me.
"Whose house is this?" I asked him while looking around the front yard. Finally, he walked to the front door and smiled at me.
"This is our house. I built it for my mate and me when I was seventeen. I always knew that I wanted a house for my mate and me and our family." He said
I was speechless. I never thought that anyone would ever do anything like that for me. He grabbed my hand, and we went through the door. There was a nice living room, with a tan sectional wooden coffee table and a nice 50-inch tv. If you keep walking, there is a lovely dining room table that fits eight people. A big kitchen with a door leads outside to the backyard. It had a deck and a big backyard.
"Would you like to see the upstairs," He asked, and I nodded
We walked upstairs, and there were three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. One of the bathrooms was in the master bedroom. It had a kingsize bed and 32-inch tv. There was a balcony in there and a walk-in closet. All the walls of the house were white in color.
"You did all of this for me?" I asked, not able to control the tears that were coming out of my eyes.
"Of course I did. I did it for us," He said
I couldn't help but jump on and kiss him with everything I had.
"I love you so much," I said, and he smiled widely at me.
"I love you too, Flower. I will always love you, and if you are pregnant, I will also love this baby. You are my life, my world. I know you are worried about what will happen if you are pregnant, but you have nothing to worry about because I will always be here for you. I will never leave you or our child, and I will always be by your side," He said, causing more tears to fall from my eyes.
"I believe you," I said
"Good, now you need to go and take that pregnancy test," He said, and I could feel my nerves returning.
I picked up the pregnancy test and walked to the bathroom. I didn't know if I was pregnant, but I was sure that Derek would always be by my side no matter what.
