Werewolf
Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 239
Ebony's POV (TRIGGER WARNING ABUSE)
I woke up with a terrible headache and felt weaker than I have in my entire life. "Where am I?" I thought to myself as I looked around the unfamiliar room. I tried to sit up on the bed I was in but couldn't. I didn't have any energy to lift my head. I could barely lift my arm. That was how weak I was feeling.
Soon, I began to remember what had happened. I remembered getting into an argument with Alissa and her leaving the room. I remember talking to Keith and telling him that Alissa left our floor upset at me, and Keith said he was going to meet me at the front of the Packhouse. I remember going to the elevator but being stabbed in my neck with a needle. I turned and could see Alissa and Alice standing behind me before I passed out. I was alone and weak in a room I had never been in before.
The door to the room suddenly opened, and I looked to see Alice standing at the bedroom door. "It is about time you woke up," Alice said and then walked inside and sat on a chair that was by the wall.
"Let me go," I said
"Now, why would I let you go after everything you have done to me?' She asked
"I haven't done anything to you," I said, and she laughed coldly.
"You never should have been born. Jacob should never have slept with your whore of a mother. He should have waited for me, but he was too weak. He has always been weak," Alice said, and I stayed quiet.
"You know what is so fucked up. When your mother was pregnant with you, I told him to get rid of her. I told him to send her away, but he wouldn't because she was pregnant with you. He said he couldn't give his child. Do you know how hurt I was that my own Mate would put you before me? I am supposed to be the only one he had children with. If he never fucked your mother, then Alissa would have been firstborn, and I wouldn't be running from the Royal Council." She finished.
"I am sorry that you had to go through all of that, but I am not to blame for it," I said.
"Yes, you are. Didn't now hear anything I just said? You should never have been born," She screamed and then closed her eyes for a moment to calm herself. "There is no reason for me to scream at you. Besides, I am going to get my revenge on you soon."
"What are you going to do to me?" I asked
"I told Alissa I wouldn't kill you, and I plan to keep my word. But I never said I wouldn't hurt you," she said, Standing from her seat. She began to walk toward the door to leave, but before she did, she turned to look at me. "Believe me, there are worse things that can happen to you than death," She said and walked out of the door.
"Wake up bitch," I heard Alice say as I felt a slap across my face.
I looked to see Alice standing by the bed I was lying in. She had someone stab me with another needle, giving me another dose of whatever it was she had given me the first time, which caused me to be weaker than when I woke earlier. "Chain her to the wall," She told one of the guards I had seen with her before at the Castle.
"Yes, my Queen," he said and picked me up from the bed. He held my wrist up and chained them to a pipe. The chains burned my skin, and I knew they must have been laced with wolfsbane.
"Please let me go," I gasped. I could barely get the words out because of how weak I was.
"I am not going to do that. I already told you I am going to make you pay for what you did to me." I felt a pain in my back after she said those words, which caused me to scream. I knew she had hit me with a whip. "You," Whip "Never," Whip "Should," Whip "Have," Whip "Been," Whip " Born," Whip.
"Please, stop," I gasped out weakly.
"I will not stop. You know the one to blame for all of this is your mother. She should never have seduced my Mate," she said, and I felt the whip hit my back again. All I could think was that I needed to get out of there. Soon, my vision became blurry, and then all I saw was darkness.
I opened my eyes and was sad when I realized everything that happened was not a nightmare but was reality. I was still hanging from the pipe and in more pain than I had ever felt in my life. All I could think was that I needed to get out of there.
"Yes, we do need to get out of here and quick, My Human," I heard a voice say in my head. Realization hit when I figured out whose voice it was, but it was impossible. I wasn't supposed to be able to hear my wolf's voice until I turned eighteen. "Alice must have hit me on the head hard because I was hearing things," I thought.
"You are not hearings, Ebony. I am your wolf. You can hear me because you are a White Wolf. My name is Leia," My wolf said.
"This is impossible. I must be hearing things," I replied
"You are not hearing things. It is me," Leia replied.
"But that makes no sense. Even if I can hear you earlier than normal because I am a white wolf, Why am I only just hearing you now? Plus, she injected me with wolfsbane or something. That should make it impossible for me to speak to you even if I was eighteen," I said
"The Moon Goddess told me not to talk to you until you really needed me. I never understood what she meant until now. As for being able to talk to you while you have wolfsbane in your sister, I honestly don't know how I am able to. I tried to speak to you when she first injected you by the elevator, but it was too weak. Then they drugged you again, causing me to become even weaker. The only thing I can think of is that because they didn't drug you again after she hurt you, I was able to get through because it wore off quicker for us."
"I guess that makes sense," I said
"We need to get out of here, Ebony. I need you to shift," Leia said, and I tried shifting but couldn't.
"It's not working," I said
"You need to try again, Ebony. You can do it."
