Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 68

Lilly's POV

"Lil, hold on, love," Max said as he came toward me.

I turned and looked at him. I knew he could tell that I was upset.

"Look, Lil, I know that this is unexpected, but she is our daughter, and we need to support her.," He said,

"I am the one that raised her. I am the one that has supported her all her life. I don't need you to tell me what I need to do," I snarled. I knew I was taking it out on him and didn't care if I was being fair or not.

"You are right. I haven't been there for any of you, but I plan on changing that. I want to be there for you and our children. You know I am right, Lil; she needs the both of us right now," He said

I took a deep breath and looked at him before responding.

"You are right. I am sorry, Max; I know this is not your fault. It's just a lot to hear that our daughter is pregnant," I said

"I know, Love. Let's go back and talk to her," He said, and I nodded.

Rose's POV

"Don't worry, Flower, your mother is shocked by the information," Derek said.

"I know, it's a lot," I said

"Everything is going to be fine," Aunt Lisa said

"I am shocked that she is pregnant. You will be shifting soon, and I don't know if that is safe considering your pregnancy," Grandma Joyce said

"You didn't see this happening," Uncle Michael asked.

"No, I had no idea that she would become pregnant this soon," She said, causing me to worry.

"What do you mean not safe for my baby? Will, the baby be okay," I asked, worried.

"Yes, Flower, nothing bad is going to happen to you or our baby," Derek said and put his arms around me.

"Yeah, sweetie, everything will be fine," My mom said, walking back in with my father.

"Mom, I am so sorry," I said, tears coming from my eyes.

"Shh, it's okay. Don't cry, sweetie. I'm sorry for the way I reacted. I am not mad at you, just a little shocked and worried," She said as she hugged me.

"What are we going to do about her shifting? I don't think it's a good idea for her to shift while pregnant," Grandma Joyce said.

"We might need to make a potion that will stop her from shifting at least until the baby is born," My mom replied

"We also need to make her an appointment with Sally. The sooner, the better, especially since her pregnancy will be quicker than normal pregnancies," Aunt Lisa said

"Yeah, that's a good idea," My mom said

"What do you mean quicker," I asked.

"You are pregnant with a werewolf baby. Your pregnancy will be complete in about five months," My mom said, causing me to look at her, shocked.

"Five months?" I asked 

"Yeah, but don't worry. You will be alright," My mom said 

I looked at everyone that was smiling at me. I was so happy that nobody seemed upset and only wanted to help. 

"I know we were going to postpone the mating and Alpha ceremonies, but now I don't think we should. So, if you are ready, I would like to make it all official and make you my Luna officially," Derek said, causing everyone to look at me.

"I would like that too," I said

" Well, since we never canceled the Ceremonies, we might as well keep them for next  Saturday and Sunday. I will let everyone in the Pack know and all the others. I'm sure everyone is going to be so thrilled," Aunt Lisa said excitedly.

"Well, that means we have a lot to do this week and next. We have to make sure everything is perfect," My mom said

"After school tomorrow, we have a lot to do," Aunt Lisa said, and my mom nodded.

They began talking about Ceremony plans.

"This is so wonderful. A new baby, mating, and Alpha Ceremony. I am so happy right now," Kate squealed.

"I am going to take Rose to lie down. She has had a long day," Derek said

"Of course, son, take care of your mate," Uncle Michael said, and we left his office.

"I told you, Flower, everyone would be excited," Derek said with a smile.

"Yes, you did, and you were right," I said, and we headed to our room.
