Ebony's POV

"I can't believe Alice would make this video. What the hell is she thinking?" Jacob growled. Once Jacob returned to the Packhouse, Keith and I showed him the video Alice had made. To say he was upset would be an understatement. He looked like he was ready to kill.

"The Queen is putting her plan in motion to turn everyone against Luna Ebony," Abby said, and Jacob looked at her. 

"Keith and Ebony told me about what you say you saw. Are you being truthful with them? Jacob asked

"Yes, everything I say is true. Queen Alice is planning on making her daughter the Queen," Abby said

"You better not be lying about this," Jacob growled.

"I have no reason to lie about anything, King Jacob. As I have told Alpha Keith and Luna Ebony, when I first arrived at this Packhouse and saw Keith as a little boy, I had a vision showing me two different futures. One where Luna Ebony is Queen, and everything is great. The other is where the Princess is Queen, and everything is destroyed. I am not making this up. All I want to do is help make sure Luna Ebony becomes Queen," Alice said. Jacob was staring at her, and I knew he was trying to see if he could see any deception in what she was saying. Once he was convinced there was none, he stopped glaring at her and sighed. 

"Now we need to figure out how to fix this. Alice has already started to put questions and worry into some Werewolf's minds with her accusations. They are worried that Ebony might not be fit to become Queen because her mother raised her and her mother is an Omega," Abby said.

"They are not the only ones worried right now. The Royal Council is panicking because they have also seen the video," Jacob said.

"I was worried about that. I am surprised they haven't talked to us yet," Keith said. Some Members of the Royal Council were still in Silvermoon Territory because they still wanted to watch over me and train Keith and me to become the best King and Queen. I honestly feel they are only here to be noisy. It seems as this they need to be in charge of everything we do. They decided to stay at one of the Pack Hotels instead of the Packhouse.

"They said they need to talk to us immediately and will be making their way to the Packhouse in an hour," Jacob said, and Keith and I looked at each other. I was thinking about what Abby said about the Royal Council switching sides if enough werewolves turn on me and choose Alissa.  

One Hour Later

"You should have informed us immediately once Alissa had escaped the Packhouse. There is no telling what Alice is planning," One of the Royal Council Members said. We were sitting in Keith's office with Jacob and three Royal Council Members. They showed up within half an hour of when they said they woudl arrive. When Jacob told them about Alistar helping Alissa escape, they were furious. 

"They escaped only a couple of hours ago, and I was looking for my daughter. I don't need to explain everything to you. Don't forget that I am still the King," Jacob growled. I had never seen him get upset with the Royal Council and could tell he was ready to rip their heart out at any moment. I knew they realized it, too, when their face began to pale.

"We mean no disrespect, King Jacob. We are only worried because of everything that is going on. We are trying to look out for you and your family."

"Now that Alice had made a video and posted it for the whole werewolf community to see. Many are questioning which one of your daughters would be the best Queen. Some are worried that because Ebony was not raised as a Royal, she won't make the best Queen." I wasn't shocked to hear them say that. Not only because of what Abby had told me about her seeing the future but also because this is how werewolves were. A lot of werewolves have always felt Omegas are below everyone else. Me becoming Queen would be a punch in their face seeing a she-wolf with an Omega mom be their ruler.

"That is ridiculous. Ebony is my firstborn and the rightful heir to the throne. You and I know she is the only one with the power to be Queen. Alissa is my daughter, and I love her too, but she is not capable of being the true Queen," Jacob said

"I know what you are saying. King Jacob and I agree that Ebony is the one that should become Queen, but the community is demanding the choice to decide who they feel should take over. I am afraid we have no choice but to give them that. Without the communities support, the werewolf community would be destroyed," One of the Royal Council Members said. Keith and I looked at each other, and I knew he was thinking the same thing I was. If only they knew that the Werewolf community would be destroyed if Alissa took over, most would die.

"So what do you expect us to do? Convince them that Ebony is the right choice as Queen," Jacob asked. 

"Yes, that is the only thing we can do if we want the community's support and for them to turn on us. Alpha Keith and Princess Ebony will have to show the community that they are the ones that should Rule. Show them that they are the better choice than Princess Alissa."

"The Royal Council said they woudl help us find Alissa," Jacob said after the Council Members left.

"I doubt they are going to help us do anything. All they want is power, and I think they believe Alissa will win the Werewolves and are planning on turning on Ebony," Keith replied.

"That is ridiculous. They know Ebony is the rightful Queen," Jacob said 

"They don't care about who is the rightful Queen. All they care about is power," Keith said 

"How do you know that?" Jacob asked, and Keith stayed quiet. I knew he was worried about telling Jacob what Abby told us about the werewolf community betraying me. But I trusted Jacob and felt we should tell him. We had already told him most of what Abby told us, so why not tell him the rest?

"Keith knows that because Abby told us the Royal Council will turn on me if we don't stop them."
