Rose Bailey: My Mate, My Flower Chapter 105

Derek's POV

"YOU DID WHAT? I growled at Landon and began hitting him repeatedly in his face. My father came over and stopped me.

"Let me go. I am going to kill him," I growled.

"Isn't this something? I get to see two filthy mutts fighting it out," Cheryl said, causing me to growl at her.

"So you reject your mate, and now your Pack is against you. That is so sad. Don't worry, Landon; Derek will lose his mate soon. Vivian is on her way to kill her," Chloe said, causing me to look at my father. I needed to protect Rose and my unborn children.

"Go," Aunt Lil said and ran to Rose and My room.

Finally, I made it to our room and panicked when I noticed the front door was ajar. I walked in, worried that something terrible had happened to Rose.

"Fuck you, bitch. You will never please Derek the way I did," Vivian growled.

"Goodbye, Vivian," Rose said, surprising me with what she did next.

She lifted her hand to use her powers, and Vivian's head fell off her body.

"Rose," I said, shocked at what just happened.

Rose turned to me; her eyes were green. Then they changed back to brown. She looked down at Vivian's headless body, and then realization hit her. She had killed somebody.

Rose ran into the bathroom and began throwing up. I ran in after her, making sure she was alright. When she was done vomiting, she sat on the floor and started crying.

"Shh, don't cry, baby," I soothed

"I killed her; I am a monster," Rose said

"No, you are not. She tried to hurt you first—more than once. You were protecting yourself and our unborn children. You are one of the most caring and loving people I know," I said, which seemed to calm her down.

"Wait, Kate is passed out in the kitchen," Rose said and ran back into the kitchen.

I ran behind her and saw Kate on the kitchen floor, unconscious. I didn't even notice her when I first walked in.

Just as I started to mind-link Sally, Kate started to gain consciousness. She groaned and held her head as she sat up. 

"Don't move," I said

"Vivian hit me upside my head. Where is that bitch?" Kate asked, causing Rose to become tense

Kate looked over at Vivian's body and gasped.

"Damn, Derek, did you have to behead the bitch?" Kate said dramatically

"Derek didn't do it; I did," Rose said, and Kate looked at her

"Well, she deserved it. You are a badass. Remind me not to get on your bad side," Kate said

"Stop it, Kate," I growled, and she rolled her eyes

It was then that I remembered Cheryl and Chloe's attack. I had been so shocked about Rose beheading Vivian and then worried about her vomiting and Kate being unconscious that I had forgotten.

"I have to go back to the fighting field. Cheryl and Chloe attacked us," I said

"I am coming too," Rose said

"No, you need to stay here and rest. You are still recovering from the wolfbane," I said

"I can help, Derek,"

"NO. You need to stay here and stay safe," I replied

" I hope you aren't mad at me after I do this," Rose said, and then she disappeared in front of me.

I knew she had just teleported to the fighting field and panic started taking over me again.

Rose's POV

I teleported to the fighting field. I knew my family needed my help. I hated the fact that I had to go against Derek. He only wanted to keep me safe, but I knew the only way we would be safe was to finish this once and for all.

"You are so weak, Joyce; I guess mother made the wrong decision passing the Coven to you. It was supposed to be mine, and now you will die for her mistake," I heard Cheryl say as I was at the fighting field. She had a huge fireball in her hand.

Cheryl threw the fireball at Grandma Joyce, and I quickly lifted my hand and used my powers to make the fireball switch directions.

The fireball hit Cheryl, causing her to scream in pain as her whole body burned. Her screams ended soon after, from turning to ash from being burnt alive.

The rain ended, and the sun shone once again.

"YOU KILLED MY MOTHER, YOU LITTLE BITCH," Chloe said, trying to get away from Mark holding her back. He had put the magic handcuffs back on her to make sure she couldn't use her powers.

I went over to Grandma Joyce and my mom to make sure they were alright

"Are you two okay?" I asked 

"Yes, sweetie," My mom said, helping Grandma Joyce to her feet

"You saved me; I told you that you were powerful," Grandma Joyce said with a smile on her face

"Rose," I heard Derek say

I looked over to see Derek running toward me. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to him as soon as he was close.

"I told you to stay in the room, Flower," he said as he inhaled my scent to calm himself.

"I know, but I had to help," I said

"She saved me," Grandma Joyce said 

"What happened?" Derek asked, letting go of me

I looked over to see Mark giving Chloe to the guards. I turned my head back to where my mom and Grandma Joyce were telling Derek about what he had missed.

"MOM, STOP," I heard Mark say and then heard a gunshot

I turned around and saw Chloe on the ground with a knife in her hand. Mark fell to his knees in front of his mother. My dad came over to him and placed his hands on Mark's shoulder

"No, mom, please wake up," Mark Cried 

I could see the blood coming out of Chloe's mouth, and she gasped for air. I went over to her and saw that she had been shot in the chest. I hated seeing my brother hurt and wanted to help him. She may be evil, but she is his mother.

Joyce also had tears in her eyes. She thought of Chloe as her daughter. 

A voice inside me told me what to do. I placed my hand on Chloe's chest, where the bullet went through, and closed my eyes. When I opened then, a light was shining on us from the sky. I could feel the bullet coming out of her body, and her eyes opened.

"I can't fully heal her from the side effects of being shot, but she will live," I told Mark.

"Thank you, Rose," Mark said

"There is one more thing that I need to do," I said

I looked at Chloe and placed my hand on her head. Then I closed my eyes, making her powers leave her body.

"No, Please don't do this," Chloe said weakly after being shot

"What are you doing?" Mark asked, but I didn't answer, focusing on my task

Once I was done, I looked at Chloe, who had tears in her eyes.

"Now you can't hurt anyone else," I said

Derek helped me to my feet and looked at me, stunned.

"How did you do that, Flower," Derek asked.

"I don't know, but something in my head told me I could save her. She will still have some side effects from being shot, but at least Mark won't lose his mother," I said

Everyone was looking at me with stunned expressions on their face. 

"You are amazing, Flower," Derek said and kissed me passionately. 

We broke the kiss and went over to our family.

"What did you do to her after you healed her?" My mom asked

"I took her powers away from her," I replied

Grandma Joyce hugged me tight, and I hugged her back

"Thank You for saving her, Rose," She whispered into my ear and then let me go

"Let's get you back to bed," Derek said, and we all went to Derek and My room, happy that this mess was over.
